I found this on Penny’s blog and it is just so exciting I had to reblog. If you don’t know why Americans love their country, maybe this will help explain it. As a government, USA does some skeery things but as a country, it is great.
Yes, a wonderful reminder of how very lucky we Americans are in so many ways, to live in such a beautiful country and be a part of such a wonderful freedom that too easily get’s taken for granted! Thank you Yordie!
I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to travel this beautiful country for the past 1.5 years. Thanks for the video Penny and yes, we voted. 🙂
I agree. The video is well done and beautiful, but the actual “being there” is always the best way to see our magnificent country. And of course you already voted! 🙂
Fabulous video.
It may come as a surprise to some that your second favourite – and avowedly Francophile – Elephant has plans to visit the Land of the Free in the not-too-distant future.
He wonders if that plane is available for hire, but in a larger size, obviously!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful though, if what we can do instantly now (internet connections) as far as meeting people and sharing and growing together could work in the political arena around the world … Nah … not for awhile on that one, sigh! 🙂
What a bee-yoot-i-ful video! I especially liked the players along the way, waving hello in appropriate gear (and so cheerful) I am sharing to FB. (I am voting tomorrow, too…I always wait until the “day day”, because the voting booths are set up just about a half mile from where I live at that point, and it is very convenient) Super awesome post.
Thank you Charron. I agree. A stupendous video. Voting to me (regardless of all the political rhetoric that abounds) to me is each American’s way of saying “this is my country and I care”! Thanks again, Penny 🙂
Yes it is. Sometimes we become so used to what is there that we don’t see what it is.
I live by the sea and I see water; someone from inland sees the sea and sees something awesome.
Someone living near mountains sees very big hills; I see fingers touching the sky.
Just examples of what you were saying 🙂

If you are American, and haven’t voted yet … TWO DAYS!!!! You CAN make a difference. You WILL make a difference. Your vote may be that one X that tips the balance.
I voted! Lovely video!

Penny, this is awesome! I could not reblog on Awakenings since it is blogspot but I did repost under your name. Hope that is OK. Here is the URL: http://awakenings2012.blogspot.com/2012/11/penny-why-about-this-is-most-inspiring.html
Of course it’s okay, Always, Sharla. The more Americans that view this all the better! 🙂

They’d be awfully surprised if I voted – all the way from South Africa 😀

America has some truly beautiful sights.
Yes it does, thank’s for the reblog. It is so easy to forget what you are blessed with. Sometimes, someone pointing out the big picture helps! 🙂
Yes it is. Sometimes we become so used to what is there that we don’t see what it is.

Yes, exactly! 🙂
Mind you – as my photo of the day today will show, the sea can be spectacular as well as deadly 🙂
Always two sides to a coin isn’t there! 🙂
Yes there is 🙂
