“Excuse me, but do you know where we are?”
“Um … have you ever heard the old saying … a fish out of water?”
“Yes!”
“I think it applies here!”
“May I assume you are not speaking metaphorically?”
“That would be an accurate assumption!”
“So that sums things up then?”
“Yup!”
~
Thanks for the visit, I hope I’m starting you off with a laugh and that you are in the right place today and certainly not feeling like a fish out of water (metaphorically speaking lol)!

I wonder if the fish use the expression, ‘like a human under water’? I would like to say this post is brill-iant but that pun may have krilled the atmosphere, still any fin is possible if you trout yourself once in a while.

AnElephantCant help but notice
The expression on that poor fish’s face
We all have a day
When we feel that way
Because we know we are in the wrong ‘plaice’!

I hope to always be in the right place. The way I feel is important to me. Feeling like a fish out of water is not a good experience to have.
Thanks for the thoughtfulness in sharing this post.
