Emergence/Change

If you believe in fairy tales

This is a perfect time,

For me to open up your heart

And claim what must be mine.

*

But I fear I’m now not certain

I don’t know where to be,

There is too much, there is so much

And there is only me.

*

You are but one of many

Still l know just what to do,

My certainty it overflows

For every one of you.

*

If one believes in miracles

I can perform my deed,

Spread out my will and enter in

You’ll listen – you will heed.

*

If only you were wiser

I could do what I must dare,

The way would go more swiftly

And I would take you there.

*

If all the If’s were certainties

And all your dreams came true,

The rest would come so easily

To bring this time to you.

*

It’s you who I must care for

You and only you,

Open up your soul and let me in

It’s time - I come for you!

My name is Change

Please let me in!

changed

Also the butterfly as metaphor for change ~ perfect. Change can be beautiful and colorful – and freeing — all the elements of this make for a most wonderful post dearest friend ~ xo

    Oh beautiful!
I’m glad it wasn’t just believing in fairy tales. Because I don’t & never have :(
    But – the – I saw miracles & I knew I was in! ;)
    xx :) :) xx

Never doubt it RoSy! The reference to fairy tales was more a reference of the ability to suspend a specific mindset so as to be more open to change. And “Miracles” yes most definitely a good thing! Yes! :) xox

Change is welcome anytime – thanks for the reminder though to open the door when it knocks!

Hi Leslie, I’ve got this saying I made up eons a go, Never walk by an open door at the very least peek inside … of course I’ve gotten myself in trouble a few times because of that (lol) but still … I think awareness of possibilities is right up there with opportunities that may appear … And of course sometimes when the door knocks our hands are already full (sometimes with the wrong stuff) I’m just full of it today aren’t I …. :)

Indeed – I think we both are :D love it! btw I am posting my thoughts on the word ‘awakening’ soon which falls in so well with awareness.
and …I couldn’t fix it once posted but since when do doors actually knock lol

Once again I forget AnElephant to comment here personally. Your poetry is superb as always, but your message is utterly compelling. A few of us know it is happening, but you put it into words as only you can. Powerful vision of the inevitable.
