Dogs are not only smart … they’re socially savy too!

11 Jan

A while ago I posted a cute picture of a cat reading. That was fun.

So I looked for a photograph of a dog reading, I figured there must also be dogs out there who wanted to improve their minds.

Not only did I find one but …

h

He paused to smile for the camera, holding his paw in place where he’d stopped reading …

Before he went back to reading the book he was so engrossed in.

Now that’s class!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend, take some time to read!

    AnElephantCant deny that this doggie
Is probably much better with books
    AnElephant is not erudite
He can’t read and can’t write
He relies more on his dashing good looks

Of course he was reading a good book!. A recent survey has shown that labradors are among the most intelligent of dogs, with the intelligence of an eight year old….
How dare we treat them the way we do !

I agree, some of my best friends are dogs (really – not joking)!

My dog is just finishing up War and Peace…. gotta take him to the library next week…. he’s been telling me he wants to read Treasure Island next. He’s so demanding!

p.s. I like your backdrop also… not as distracting. Eyes are drawn more to the content now :-) I loved the old backdrop too…. reminded me of a 70′s flashback……… (oh did I say that out loud?) LOL

Loved your 70′s flashback, I’ve had a few of those myself lol! If you would like your dog to be perfectly amiable, My daughter has suggested the book “Pride and Prejudice”. :)
p.s. thanks for the compliment re: the background!

There are not enough words to say how groovy dogs are; not enough photos either. ;)

It took me a while. Every time I opened your site I was trying to figure what was different. Then today it struck me. I think I must be dense as well as … well .. it’s cool :-)

It is a little subtle, I admit. I was going for a smoother more fluid background than the one I had before! Thanks!:)

Shows dogs are definitely more intelligent than cats. Better make sure mine aren’t around before posting that ;-)
