Well I figure I’m small cute and cuddly so even if I’m grumpy I’m going to get a lot of love!
And I’m thinking that even though it’s colder than a … on a …., I can still throw out a pretty good tune. You know sing a pretty bird song which should be a pretty cheerful and happy thing to do!
~
And as for me, the Penny of it all, Well looking around me I’m thinking I’ve got everything I need for an absolutely perfect weekend!
If the weather were a little better I’d go for a walk by the river, hang out with the geese and the ducks or take a nice hike up in the hills, but it is winter so a good book seems to beckon.
I hope your weekend is a good one for you, enjoy, relax and embrace the moment, it’s your life after all!
~ Penny

A nice weekend post. A bit chilly – but – nice enough to hang outdoors with the girls today. We had fun on our private ice-rink (retention pond).

AnElephantCant claim to be cuddly
And he certainly ain’t small and cute
He sings like a horn
Since the day he was born
And he won’t bring your blog into disrepute by mentioning his birthday suit

May I assume anelephantcant was simple being polite but I’m sure that we would all love to go swimming with him, even if he wore an interesting looking bathing suit!

Thank you Alastair. Some days are pretty good and others, well not so good, so in some aspects slow going! But it’s okay, I’m pretty good, over all, and grateful for enough other things to compensate for the discomfort that has become a regular thing right now, just have to be careful how I move and can’t sit too long is all, other than that, not so bad, can’t complain! Well I could but I’ve never found that to be effective so instead will simply say, how lucky I am to have wonderful friends like yourself Alastair, thank you dear friend for caring! With much affection to you, xx

You’re welcome Penny. I know what you mean about not being able to sit still for long. I fidget a hell of a lot. I’m glad you are able to cope with it though. I know sometimes (or I imagine if it is similar to my pain) sometimes you just want to scream and hope that that relieves some pressure. I have found that pushing a knuckle into my back will work sometimes. Mind you, it does kill both legs, so don’t do it while walking

Will keep that in mind Alastair, really no worries, I’m really good in the “handling things” department!

Sorry I haven’t been around much… I’m working a lot and am in the process of compiling my book…
I don’t mind the winter too much because I get to have “warm weekends” – days spent indoors, snug and warm, just relaxing and (frankly) not doing much at all!
