Something to believe in

Self

This isn’t about faith or spirituality. It’s about the Human Spirit. Something deep inside each of us just waiting to be recognized.

Something that each of us should believe in. Most important to our well-being.

In life there really are so many reasons to keep going, to be a success, to make a difference, to hope and care, but they all pale besides the most obvious reason of all …

To fully believe … you must believe in“Self” first. Really believe that you have a personal worth, a pure value in and of itself.

A starting point to grow from.

Without recognizing your own singular value as a human being, it pretty much guarantees that the roads you travel will be less smooth, the terrain much rockier, the slopes much steeper.

believe~

  • Believing in yourself allows you to hope for a better day, a better out-coming.

  • Believing in yourself gives you strength and fortitude to face life’s hard challenges. It doesn’t imbibe you with more capability but with much needed courage during those times when needed.

  • Believing in yourself is fundamentally the key most important belief you can have as an essential, living and functioning human being. After all if you don’t believe in you why should others?

It’s not easy. Often times we make mistakes, we fail, we hesitate, we chose poorly and so on. But that is just part of life’s learning process. We learn through our errors. And we get up and keep going.

And … trust me on this one … it is a lot easier to get back up when we believe we can do it!

“The single most important person to believe in is yourself … always!” ~  Penny L Howe, March, 2013

You’ve got to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you’ve got, and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from mistakes, but never regret. But most importantly.. you got to believe in you..

    AnElephantCant disagree with Penny
There is no way he can chastise her
What she says is all true
    She helps us get through
The hard times because she is wiser

“To fully believe … you must believe in“Self” first. Really believe that you have a personal worth, a pure value in and of itself.” ~ So very true….and, at least for me, the very thing we forget the most! Thank you for this poignantly vital reminder :)
