The Sunshine Award
Thank you Kina of Human in Recovery, http://humaninrecovery.wordpress.com for nominating me for this blogging award. Sunshine has a special significance to me as I mentioned in my post yesterday. Kina is an amazingly caring person who while, working through her own personal growth and recovery, recently created a blog award that recognizes the courage of being open, exposed, and authentic as part of a personal process of seeking healing, wellness, and growth. She calls it the Courageous Confessional Blog Award. I strongly encourage you to stop by her blog.

If you decide to this year have a hanky near by. It is fun to watch but very Capra-esc. So there is the usual emotional and happy ending. I’d rate this one 4 boxes of popcorn just for the movies fun.

I’ll do my best! The blogger awards from other bloggers is a way of introducing yourself to the blogging world. But it can be a bit confusing. I found it to be so. When you receive a nomination for an award like the “Sunshine Award” you’ve been “noticed’ by another blogger. Then if you decide to play along you follow the rules for that particular Award. You can write a post with a layout similar to mine and follow along as the rules say- Write a post thanking the person who nominated you, in this case it’s me, put a link to my blog site, Answer the same questions asked of me, nominate 10 other bloggers, who you’ve been following, for the award with a link to their blog site and then copy and paste the sunshine award to your Blog (my apologies I forgot to put in the last rule in the page)! Some people find the Award giving fun and a great way to meet more bloggers. Some people don’t want to play. Either way is okay. Your choice. I hope I’ve helped a little bit! Let me know, okay?
Oops, one more thing, almost forgot notify each of those you’ve nominated by going to their page and commenting in their comment section. Okay, now I think that’s everything, Whew!

Nope, that wasn’t everything. you include in the notification comments a link back to your blog site. I am humbled by how poorly I’ve tried to pass the right information onto you. Hope you aren’t too confused. If you visit a few other bloggers with awards I have a hunch you’ll be much better served with the “how to” than the poor attempts I have made here in my explanations.

Also while your at the web site of the link I just sent you, check out her ‘about’ page at the top of the blog you will see how she has placed all her awards on the right side of that page, which is a good idea!
