I’ve been thinking about imagination and the role it’s played in my life. MAJOR! To say the least. I was definitely very shy as a child. While growing up I was more comfortable living in my pretend world using my imagination. I’m guessing this is probably true for many of us. But once grown up I believe the process of imagination is still constantly at work assisting us with being creative every day.
Two of my all time heroes on this planet are Walt Disney and Albert Einstein. Each had very strong feelings about imagination. Albert Einstein wrote “Imagination is everything, it is a preview of life’s coming attractions”. Walt Disney wrote “imagination has no age and dreams are forever.” These two amazing gentlemen sum up my own feelings. When it comes to imagination, the more the better. Specially in today’s highly technological environment (I must note that most probably the highly technological developments have come about as a result of both high creativity and imagination) however for the users of said technology the constant change and complexity of new interactive ways of communicating can be overwhelming. The need for exploring our own imagination was never greater than it is today.
Imagination happens suddenly in our minds. Where we go with it…well that’s up to each of us. I’d love to hear from you and have you share your thoughts on imagination.
Hi Penny , by going through your posts I’m learning about myself, amazing.
Thank you. I feel very complimented and honored – most sincerely! Again my thanks,
Penny
❤ !!
love your two iconic references, Mr.Disney and Mr.Einstein. I think you were a very methodical kid while you were growing up 🙂 its just my hunch, my very reliable hunch..lol
Imagination is a lot of fun. I think fun imagination becomes great imagination if its starts developing into details, logistics, & plans 🙂
Yes, correct indeed. I also read a ton. Both of them, each a genious in their own field repeatedly referred to imagination as a guiding force for them. Yes I’ve researched and studied them a whole bunch! Did you see the video of me on todays post, just curious?
no I haven’t seen the video yet, and I will eventually make it over there tonight 🙂 Got few more business items to take care of, and it will be free roaming in the blog realm!
Christina is right, you are a really cool dude! smart and fun too! 🙂
Christina is so awesome, you really did raise an amazing daughter! I pray she will eventually settle down again, with somebody just as cool and amazing as she is. I thoroughly enjoy every conversation with her 🙂
I did see your video!! You sound just the way you look & write 🙂 I tihnk you are very very cool, too! and so high tech 🙂
Riiiggghhht! I appreciate the nice words however! 🙂
Needless to say, I have decided to write to you in your past…lol. Penny, do you naturally write from right to left, with your right hand?
Rather obviously I’m left handed and the image is reversed, I was somewhat surprised at what I thought was humor that most people took seriously, hey so I’m going with the flow. I also don’t want to embarrass anyone so will wait a few posts and then reveal what I thought was obvious!
When I was growing up, I was severely bullied at school and out of school, so I used to keep myself in my own imagination. It was the only place I was “really happy”. I don’t know if it was my aspergic tendencies that caused it, but since then, I have trouble “stepping out” of my imagination sometimes and I still have things go around inside my head. Some of which I would love to be able to put onto paper if only I had the wherewithal
It is there, inside of you and it has been waiting for you. Truly! I think you’re on your way actually Mondrak! Wonderfully so. 🙂
I know I have been letting some of it out, which I am glad about. It is exhilarating especially when I expect it to be rubbish, and it turns out that people like it 🙂
Who knew! 🙂 You are wonderfully talented, I’m glad to see this making it’s way from your mind to your creative expression!
Thank you 🙂
🙂
