Your kidding Right?

So the weather channel is calling our current weather conditions “WESTERN WARMTH“. Warmth? Say again … Warmth? Um that’s the term I use to imply cozy as in comfortable and schmoozy. You know feel good all over. That is so not what’s happening out here. Yesterday it was 107 degrees and today out here, well look at today’s weather forcast and the 86 degrees was at around 9:00 this morning. It’s going to be a balmy 104 today with storms no less:

I decided to recall some “COOLER CLIMES” through some of my photo’s during a retreat in the hills of Chehalem, Oregon.  Worked for me!

I really enjoy the shot of franky and jonny “enjoying?” the view of the “cool” weather. Okay actually they were watching the brave little birds eating while during the falling snow. Here’s hoping you enjoy my take on warm and cool!

  1. You should try the UK weather at the moment as it is the opposite
of your heatwaves, mind you I think somewhere in between would
be pleasant enough for the both of us what do you think? 🙂

    Have a great evening 🙂

      • No it doesn’t we are either frying in the midday sun
or on the flip side of the coin freezing to death in the chill of winter, well here in the UK it is rain, rain and more rain so it looks like the Olympics will be a right washout at this rate 😦 I do hope not…

        Have a great evening…

  2. Hi Penny, I have family in Oregon. It’s so beautiful there. I bet you miss it. And from the looks of Franky and Jonny (love their names 🙂 ), they seems to miss the birds watching.
You try and stay cool in during these hot summer days. And thanks for the recent visit. 🙂 Hugs xx

    • You and me both. You know at the time it just kept snowing and snowing. It was a little overwhelming but I could sure use some of it right now! Thanks for the follow.

  3. Thank you. I agree 100%! I’m in Richland, WA. – would rather be in Oregon. Family and commitments have me here for now. I miss the trees more than anything. But I do have lots of family still residing in Oregon to visit. 🙂

Thank you for your thoughts!
