Like many of you, I enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
This video gave me a new perspective on a cup of coffee. I hope it will for you also ~ enjoy!

“Enjoy your coffee today, be happy with the cup you are drinking from and enjoy your life!”
thank you for your visit,
~ Penny
Caught this one on Alastair’s reblog. Thought is was awesome!
Thanks Shara, I agree that the video is a wonderful reminder and I lucked out finding the right photo to go with!
a lovely post here! and tea for me:)
Thanks, Yes I really wanted to put tea in there as well – another greatly loved drink that is also held by a cup! 🙂
Even better, enjoy the cup you have, enjoy seeing the nice cups everyone else has, give them better cups when you can, and everyone enjoy the coffee! (spoken from the land of good coffee, both literally and figuratively)
I agree with you on everything you said and I’d love to have a cup of coffee in Panama also! 🙂
Love how you’ve composed your photo…….awesome!
Thank you Madelaine, I wish I could take credit for the composition, unfortunately it is not mine. The only information I can share with you is that the photographer used the name of godidwir. I found it in a photography morgue file that has free image reference material. I agree with you it is awesome!
So very true, and a great post! Thanks!
Thank you Marty, and thank you for stopping by it is very much appreciated!
Six cups of coffee and I can see what you mean in more ways than there is possible ways to be. I need a lie down but am to energetic.
Good to know you have a limit!
Love this video and the profound message. I too have a mug for my coffee that just feels good in my hand, more a comfort as I savor the coffee. A very special post today from a very special woman. Thanks Penny! 🙂
Thanks, I have a cup just like that too. I dont covet the cup but holding it while I drink the coffee does make me feel better so I understand what you’re saying LuAnn, thank you dear friend! 🙂
I remember reading this story before, somewhere, and like it a lot. Thank you, Penny, for reminding me of it! And it is so beautifully presented in that video, too!
Absolutely Stefanie, some things can’t be shared or repeated enough I think. Much love to you my dear friend!
I agree: It’s always good to be reminded of life’s essence. 🙂
Eye-opening video.. thanks for sharing!
A pleasure to do so, thank you for stopping by, I appreciate it very much! 🙂

Very true ‘Life is like a cup of coffee’ and we all waste so much time worrying about the cup instead of enjoying the coffee…
Wonderful inspiration and wisdom! Thank you Penny for sharing!
My pleasure always dear friend! 🙂
Ah, so true!
Coffee lover here too!
🙂

Coffee and all that goes with it! Yes!!! 🙂
I will never look at a cup (or a mug, or a paper cup) of coffee in the same way again. Nice one.
Thank you David, I hope you still enjoy the coffee just as much though! 🙂
Intravenous drip is the best!
Great video, Penny!
Thank you very much! 🙂
Thank you to !
I like to add RumChata to my coffee 😉

But he does have a quite good excuse
He likes what you say
But he starts his day
With some peanuts and a glass of orange juice
I’ve heard that about Elephants in general! Probably lots healthier too! 🙂
Great video, Penny 😉

so great Penny ~ so true!! xxoo Much Love and will ponder this as I drink my savored am coffee tomorrow – usually out of my mug – which is usually the one with my kids’ college name imprinted on it because I like the way if feels in my hand!! 🙂
Totally understand that one re: the mug! Thanks Robyn, Love you, 🙂 xx
Thank you for the beautiful video! Happy 2013!
Hi Amy, thank you my friend! You also, a most happy 2013!
hmm…how timely. You fired this off almost withing minutes of me reading a recent article about “happiest people on planet”. Latin America has the happiest beople on the planet per Gallop poll. Its just like what the professor said, its not wealth, education, what you have, or don’t have. They live simply, love&care for their family, & make the best of everything. I guess the proof is in the poll. Although, maybe its just the quality of their coffee beans…Am I over thinking this? lol
Nah! The professor is true I believe, but I also think that sitting in a warmer clime and enjoying their amazing coffee also has merits to it Chris! 🙂
I think we may have found ourselves a perfect location for the said retirement community.lol
Happy people everywhere, lots of love/life/respect, amazing coffee, warm weather, and we can all watch the amazing Monarch butterfly migration twice/year!!
Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE your blog that inspires retirement? I’m in a happier place just thinking about it 🙂
I agree with you Chris. The perfect location across the board. Thank you, “Your happiness is my happiness” … guess what movie that line is from? Hint: Christina will know if you don’t!” 🙂
you simply are marvelous at serving the public with your dose of happiness 🙂
I have no clue where that line came from, I’m guessing another chick flick?lol
Speaking of Christina, we agreed you need to put some sort of warning label/disclaimer on your homepage. We know of at least one sampling data point thats has shown symptons of distraction and disarray as result of nightly conversation here.lol
It’s from a sort of chick flick “The Mummy” with a little adven. and spooky stuff/special effects, rescue the damsel, save the world, kill the bad guy gig!
A Disclaimer or perhaps a waiver from a doctor that says reasonable doses are good for your “Happiness Factor”!
I never watched that movie. At some point I should probably stop watching only the old movies and start watching something newer.lol. Maybe I’ll put Ghostbusters on hold for this weekend.
Thats a pretty good disclaimer, its very…’penny’esque’ 🙂

Penny does it again with a brilliant, inspirational post. Worth watching. Thank you Penny
That’s brilliant. not always true though, I tend to go for the plastic cups. I’m likely to break the posh cups. I do like the inspirational message though. It is amazing how you find these things though. Thank you for another brilliant post.
They do come my way, don’t they Alastair?
Yes they do
