So delicate, so brief, we frequently overlook the most simple yet complex beauties of our wonderful world. Such as this, the mirrored view of the world around it from the perspective of a single dewdrop.
What do you suppose we miss everyday in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives that a simple dewdrop manages to capture. Dewdrops are momentary. Ethereal beauty can be also.
Think on this. To have a soul and heart filled with beauty, take a few moments from your busy day, capture as many “dewdrops of life” as you can. You will be amply rewarded for your efforts.
Thank you, enjoy today and your week.

Beautiful Penny, Just beautiful. another miracle which we never see.
“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.” – Buddha
Hi Ute, thank you. And a most excellent quote, thank you for sharing this with me my friend! 🙂 xx
That reflection is amazing.. what a fantastic capture… I’ll have to put on my glasses and look closer next time I pass a water droplet on a leaf… lovely share…
Thank you Bulldog, can’t take credit for it. I’d credit the photographer if I could (don’t know who took it – found it in one of the online free morgues) but when I see the photo, I really felt the need to share it with others.
Some of the most beautiful things are those that most would easily dismiss or overlook.. the subtle signs, the smaller things.. in nature and in people. Very nice post dear Penny… xxxooo
Thank you Roxi. I was pretty sure you’d agree with me on this one my dear friend! Much love, 🙂 xx
The more of the simple things that we take in – I feel – the better for our souls.
xx 🙂 🙂 xx
Always a truth RoSy, you said that perfectly! 🙂 xo
You captured a beautiful dewdrop. It take patience to capture in our busy life.
The dewdrop is a beautiful thing to behold Amy, I agree with you. 🙂
From the micro to the macro, there is so much beauty out there to be savored!. That photo is remarkable. Thank you for sharing it and brightening my day. 🙂
Hi again emmy, you are very welcome! 🙂
AnElephantCant always see dewdrops
Perhaps because he is so tall
So he thinks about this
Decides to find bliss
By taking time to stop and consider it all
What a lovely poem to go along with the photo, thank you. xx
Wow, look at the reflections you got in that one dew drop. Just wonderful.
Aren’t the reflections just amazing. The photographer who shot this picture was both skilled and lucky, I agree with you, just wonderful! 🙂
I love dewdrops. Some of my favourite photos have been that of photos of dew drops or raindrops on grass or leaves. They are gorgeous with what you can see … or even what you can envision … going on in them. If you use your imagination, and look into it, you may even see a whole new world.
You may be able to see a world start and grow. Powers take over, maybe even dragons and wizards, Or a world ruled only by children, and the currency is chocolate with calories being meaningless.
Sorry, I hijacked your post and went off into my own world. Apologies Penny
No worries, Alastair, appreciating the beauty of the world always a wonderful thing, especially when adding your imagination to the mix! 🙂 xx
🙂
This is wonderful motivation Penny. So glad you’re back!
Thank you Amber, very much dear friend! xx
