Good morning, at least here in the Pacific Northwest of America it is. It’s a bit after 8 a.m. and the sun is shining. Birds are singing. It is a beautiful morning. And I, for one, am grateful for this day I’m in.
I’ve opened the patio doors to the backyard, (while I’m writing this post). I feel the cool spring breeze and hear birds chirping. I sit here, morning cup of coffee in hand, contemplating the many things I notice when not “too busy” to pay attention. The nuances of life that I should be feeling and sensing, not the “noise” of life’s disharmony in a too hectic world. Time to reset my “sensing frequency” settle back, relax and just be in the moment.

either it is the state of one’s whole being, total consciousness
or it is not there at all.”
Just looking at that precious picture was a cherished moment in itself! ❤
I totally fell in love with that shot. That kitten looks so adorable and vulnerable, just like us, underneath our tough exteriors!
“notice the moment your in!”
…and the souls you love…
Hi Richard, thank you very much for your wise words, my friend! 🙂
Sunday morning here and your post struck a chord. I think I might take my coffee out into the garden and talk to my plants. 🙂
They’ll be glad to hear you! I Just finished reading a scientific study (not science fiction lol) where they have confirmed (like we didn’t already know this) that plants sense the vibrations of human sounds and react chemically to different tonal qualities! I’m guessing your plants will be happy for your visit! Enjoy! 🙂
lol – Yes! I have come across that. Maybe I should go out there and sing opera to them? The neighbours might not be too i mpressed though. 😉
Oh, and I meant to say…. “Aaaaaaawww” that kitten is soooo cute!
I agree completely! 🙂
You have such good ideas, Penny 🙂 I think I might have to take my coffee and go and sit on the deck – no view unfortunately, but it’s peaceful and the sun is shining. It’s going to be 68 degrees today – perfect!
Thank you Lyn. Good for you! Enjoy! 🙂
Catching lots of fresh air today & enjoying it.
Happy day to you too!
xx 🙂 🙂 xx
Beautiful day here too Penny! What a sweet little kitty 🙂 ~ Ok – I will listen to my wise friend and go notice this moment — on my bike perhaps for a bit— sending love and big hug for you xxxooo RL
Hi Robyn, thank you. Enjoy the ride. a big hug back always with lots of love (value added lol) 🙂 xoxo
Thank you Penny for coming by my blog. I’m sorry to say, I’d forgotten all about you. 🙂
How wonderful it was to find you again and read your beautiful post. It is 1:00 pm Here in deep South Texas, and it is on the cool side with bright sunshine. The roaring winds of yesterday have died down making way for the glorious sounds of Kiss-ka-dees (sp?) and mocking birds – pure heaven.
Hallo Ludwig, I agree, this www is an awesome tool for promoting peace and understanding. (Radicals aside) 🙂
No worries, it can be difficult to visit any particular place when there are so many wonderful people blogging and sharing their posts. Plus being creative with our own blogs, plus the day-to-day activities of our lives (okay I’m tired now, lol) Hello to South Texas, sounds (literally) delightful there today! Thanks for your “hello” to Ludwig!(agree on the radicals bit!) Have a great weekend Elizabeth!:)
Good morning, at least here in the west of Europe it is. It ‘s 7 p.m. and the sun stands low above the western sky. Some birds, like the blackbird are singing a kind of lullaby. It is a beautiful golden evening here at the other half of the world. And the wonder of technology is that we are all connected and maybe… maybe it helps a little bit for peace and understanding.
Hallo people on the other side of the globe, what’s up today?
HI Ludwig, good evening! Thank you for the beautiful description of your moment of time right now. Yes, you are correct, this technology does help connect and the peace and understanding follows along. I hear your voice loud and clear.
I hope some of the other commenters here will wish to say hi to you also, my friend! Have an excellent evening and better tomorrow! Penny 🙂
It’s nice to have plans. We all need to have plans; but to live in the moment is a gift.
Thank you, yes what you say is a truth! One overlooked way too much!
Afternoon from the U.K! The kitten is adorable. I could feel the breeze and hear your birds, beautiful! Loved your post. Have a great day. 🙂 hugs Paula. Xx
Hi Paula, thank you for stopping by. Isn’t it great regardless of the time of day anywhere, we can still connect far across the miles? Have a wonderful night and better tomorrow, hugs to you also! 🙂 xx
So true and thank you! I’m missing Australia and my animals. 🙂 hugs Paula. Xx
Is yours a permanent move Paula and if so will you be able to visit your home in the near future?
No, I’m just on holiday in the U.K. 🙂 I’ve been here 3
Weeks and have 1 week left. I’m missing my Llamas and cat. I’m a sook! Lol hugs. Xxxxx

It sounds like a gorgeous morning over there. A morning where everyone and everything is happy. What a wonderful, wonderful morning. It’s 5pm here and grotty. However, the fact that I am able to sit here and type this to you is magnificent.
Have a great weekend my friend, and I am very grateful for yesterday.
You make today good one too dear friend. As I am on my own with the kids right now the days are a bit overwhelming. So early mornings are very peaceful and quiet, which I am taking advantage of! We are as happy as we allow ourselves to be, just trying to enjoy the moments of life as they pass, as we can Alastair. You do the same! 🙂
Today has been a good one thank you Penny. If it’s warm over there, send a bit over this way although it did reach 60ºF here today. One of the warmest of the day and the birdies have been trusting me 🙂
