The colors of your life

something missing

There are those days, aren’t there? Something seems missing. Can’t quite put your finger on it, or maybe you can.

When missing the richness of colors in your life, time to grab a box of crayola’s (colored crayons) and start coloring again for all you are worth.

Life isn’t easy, you know, and just about the time you think it is, it will sneak up and catch you unguarded.

That’s when you need those beautiful colors of life more than ever. The colors of joy, of musical sounds, nature, physical contact (hugs are huge), smiles and laughter being shared, all of it.

When your happiness indicator, like that of an automobile, is saying you need a fill up, remind yourself of all those colors of life that fuel and give reason – to the why you’re alive. Let them overflow and spill out into your heart.

You lucky you, you have so much to be grateful and thankful for. Remind yourself today, right now! Does a body good (and the heart too!)

Happy weekend everyone, I hope, as with myself, it is one filled with happiness and joy for you.

  1. Loved your post, Penny! I think I collect clowns/fairies and angels because the colors are so vibrant and make me feel happy. Plus they are always smiling at me. Lol πŸ™‚ Hugs Paula xxx

  2. AnElephantCant tell what’s missing
Some days it is hard to find
It would be nice he thinks
    To see purples and pinks
But AnElephant is a bit colour blind

(He may not see colour too well, but he can spell it!)

    • To “U” or not to “U” that is the question. However since Anelephant and his people are far more civilized over there than we heathens over here, U are correct! πŸ™‚

  3. Beautiful post, Penny, and your colors of life really ties in with my coffee post. Great minds think alike and cheers, again! Hope you’re having a colorful, happy day! xxx

  4. This is a brilliant post Penny. It is so true. Those crayolas can make all the difference. They can lift you up above anything and everything. Penny, I like to think you are a box of Crayolas and you have inspiration that can brighten anybody’s day. Thank you Penny
