So there I was going about my busy on a normal day when my C.O.U.S.’s decided to assist me with the writing of my blog. For your edification, My Cats Of Unusual Size are very large. I think they’re still growing. I know they weigh more now, but they seem larger too. Anyway as a result I have renamed the dynamic duo C.O.U.S.’s. Pictures included to prove my point!.

For those of you who have seen the the iconic movie “The Princess Bride” you will be familiar with the R.O.U.S.’s (Rodents of Unusual Size) in the movie! It seems to suit my guys now. Good thing I have a large bed!

I’m the only one I know with guard cats!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and better tomorrow!

My Mortichi hit 26 pounds. I think there’s something about orange Tabby’s that cause them to gain weight.
Are they house cats or wild cats? Hmmmm…
I love the movie The Princess Bride!
xx 🙂 🙂 xx
They are very gentle, and domesticated, just huge. One of my favorite movies, actually! 🙂
I have 3 cats. Each one has a completely different personality. However, when I’m in the ‘computer room’ (extra bedroom), each one has to come in to see what I’m doing. Each one has his/her own level of curiosity.
Cats are great for those of us who enjoy the process of writing.
I agree Glynis, I’d be lost without my Franky and Jonny, even thought when they want my attention, they WANT my attention, and these big guys are hard to ignore (but very gentle). Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
Wow…Garfield-twins! Your cats are huge..and totally adorable:)
Thank you Mitzie, yes they are and they are! 🙂
I laughed so hard Penny when I read C.O.U.S. and totally got the Princess Bride reference immediately!! Luckily they look much sweeter and cuter than the R.O.U.S. 🙂
Kenley
One of the movies I can watch again and again Kenley. And laugh each time I do. So much to say about that movie … no it’s too much I’ll sum up (ha,ha). Luckily my guys are very mellow and gentle, whew! 🙂
What’s for dinner?
Nothing, it’s MY table
They are massively massive. I think you could put a lead on them and take them out to scare off the rottweillers, German Shepherd Dogs, Rhodesian Ridgebacks and of course – the Pappillions and Chihuahuas hehe
You know it’s funny Alastair, I’ve never fed either one “people food” except for powder sugar jelly donuts (that’s a mouthful) they smell it and come over for a bite (about once a year when I have one), just plain ol’ dry cat food, period. Christina’s little dog “dante” sort of tip toes around (when they were younger they’d do the velociraptors “stalking” thing with dante (never hurt him just cornered him) so he’s scared to death of them, and big “Sasha Dog” just blissfully ignores them. They are gentle though and as I mentioned to Ute a few minutes ago I just realized, they don’t hiss at anything threatening, just move away … interesting that (I guess they don’t think they have too, lol! xx
Haha I can imagine the velociraptors and dante looking thinking “clever boys” haha.
We used to have a big cat – nowhere near as big as yours – and he used to lay in the middle of the road (cul-de-sac – dead end) and refused to move when cars came. The driver had to get out of the vehicle and shoo him. He would just slowly stand up and saunter off. hehe
Exactly! How do you get an 800 lb gorilla to move? You don’t! 🙂
Haha Throw a banana to the other side of town 😉
🙂
They are big cats, I already feel min with his 6 kilos on my lap. They are lovely animals though! xx
Hi Ute, I hope your week is going well for you my friend! The good news is they are very gentle. Not that any other animal wants to mess with them (lol) but still they are friendly to human folk and if bothered with just move away, they never hiss, interesting that, I didn’t think about it until just now … I wonder why? 🙂 xx
AnElephantCant quite believe this
How many times must he tell you
With his allergy
He can only say
Aaaaattttttccchhhhooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a bummer alright. I wish an elephant didn’t have to cope with this condition! 🙂 xo
omg what are you feeding them? my dogs are smaller than they are LOL
Plain ol’ meow mix Roxi, maybe they are my “familiars” if that’s the case (I need two?) and (so huge?) well that’s just worrisome isn’t it? lol
Guard cats… what a hoot… love it..
Yeah, they’re original that’s for sure! 🙂 xx
Hahaha! That is so cute and they are huge!! My Sakura is tiny in comparison. She’s 10 years old. Hugs Paula xxx
Sakura sounds adorable (what a pretty name)! My guys started off so tiny, who knew? Sleep well and have a most excellent day tomorrow my dear friend, loving hugs to send you on your way to slumberland! Take care of you Paula, xxx
