An Act of Kindness

The most unexpected considerations can bring about the most amazing results. In almost every case it is usually related to .. an unselfish act of kindness, given in the moment … just because …

As kindness
blooms
from open hearts,
 flowering gratitude adorns.
*
Petals of love are bestowed
upon the giver and the receiver.
*
Such an enriching beautiful thing!
One would wish such a bouquet

might be shared by all
with each
passing day!

    • Thank you LuAnn, I’m gearing up to have one day a week where I share “acts of kindness” that others have been involved with, or heard about. We all need to read about more of that kind of thing out there! 🙂

      • I am fine thank you, actually you may have noticed that I am spending a little less time in the blogosphere? 😦

This is due to my work schedule but I will be back in full force after this month, of course I will keep adding a few postings here and there but my visiting will be less for the now so bare, I mean bear with me and soon everything will be back to normal 🙂 🙂

Have a really lovely Monday Penny 🙂

  1. This is such a timely reminder for me because I’ve been a bit wrapped up in my own ‘stuff’ the last few weeks. I’ll pop next door and give my neighbour some new sheets I bought that don’t fit my bed. My neighbour is recently separated and trying to set up a new household with very little income. I think the sheets will be welcomed. Thank you Penny for the prompt.

    • Hi Tez, it happens to all of us. So easy to get caught up in the everyday of things. I like your ideas. I have no doubt your neighbor will be greatly appreciative of your thoughtful gesture. You are very welcome for the prompt. I have to prompt myself on some days! Take care of you, xx

  2. If you want to explore amazing acts of kindness, look up what is happening in Calgary, Alberta right now. Was part of the relief effort today and the things I saw and heard were amazing.

    • Thank you Courtney, for informing me about these amazing (you’re right) acts of kindness. I just spent the last 15 minutes looking at the various articles about how people (thousands) keep showing up to help those in need in Calgary right now. I wish more news stories reported these kinds of things (those helping and making such a huge positive difference)! As one human being to another, thank you for caring and being there too! 🙂

Thank you for your thoughts!
