… how frequently people point out what’s wrong with something or someone.
Wouldn’t it be great if instead of pointing to the negative things all the time, we heard more people talk about what was right. The positive things. There are good things happening too, every day. We have but to look and see it through the eyes of (oh say) a child. Where every day brings wonders to behold.
Or someone who appreciates what they are lucky enough to have in life. And not grumble about what they don’t. It’s really that simple. And here’s a few more quotes from some very wise people to consider:“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.” ~ Anthony J. D’Angelo * “It’s so hard when I have to, and so easy when I want to.” ~ Annie Gottlier * “Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day.” ~ Author Unknown * “If you don’t like something change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.” ~Mary Engelbreit * “We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” ~Oscar Wilde * “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.” ~Scott Hamilton * “I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains.” ~Anne Frank *
If one of the most famously read and written about young girls (Anne Frank and her diary), who had no reason whatsoever to think positive and be hopeful, could still share this beautiful thought in her diary, then surely our lives aren’t so bad that we can’t too.
Find something or someone to be positive about. Think and speak positive not negative! It might just catch on. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing!
Thank you stopping by, I hope you’re having a wonderful day today!
