  1. I like both styles. The other one had a cozyness to it, the dark colours felt to me like meeting somewhere in a cottage and talking. This one has a brightness to it. The light colours feel to me like meeting in a spaceous, sunny place somewhere out in the open. – Feels like growth, doesn’t it?! 😀

    Much love!

  2. Hi Penny, Dare I say, against the trend, that I prefer the other one – so sorry! It doesn’t matter a bit though as I will visit whatever style you have. (I am actually using your previous theme on a site I’m creating for a new project!) Have a lovely weekend Penny, hope you don’t mind me saying my preference – I know you won’t mind 🙂 🙂 xx

    • No problem Ruth. The last one was very comfortable and professional looking, too true! Reminded me of a portfolio case I still have. But I decided to go for a more open view with this style, and I’m glad you will continue to follow me, lol! Have an excellent weekend, my friend! 🙂 xx

  3. AnElephantCant really argue
This new look he really adores
    But he has to confess
He is sure you can guess
He can’t remember what it looked like before

    AnElephant never forgets?
    Hooey!

  4. Here’s for you a few verses. I like share it for You
    stefan

    For my eternal love

    My nights yearning for you
I’m not ashamed to say it or admit it.
    You’re in my veins
I love you truly from my heart!

    And that will Never change.

    • Stefan your poem of love is beautiful. And like your many other followers, I also look forward to your Anthology of Love Poems that will be published soon. Thank you from my heart, Penny xo

  5. I think this is much better , but the content is the most important , and the importance he is super , my score your blog is +5 * I normally do not like dark colors Always in life to look like in the world, and this is now the outlines of the story , caught one day a man crying in the middle of the street , and asked him why he was crying , he said , Well, the sun ! Is not nice when the sun is supeR me , so why do you cry , because after the rain comes the sun

    • Hello Stefan. Thank you, a lovely story. What a wonderful way to look at tears (like the rain) to bring out the beautiful sun. Thank you again my dearest friend. I’m glad you like the new “look”. It is brighter isn’t it? Much love to you, Penny xx

    • Thanks, dearest friend of mine. It was time. But difficult to choose. I know you understand what I mean here. It still needed to reflect my personality. I thank you for your approval and lovely comment about my decor! 🙂 xo

    • Thank You Debra! My first time, so it was more difficult than I had anticipated, choosing my “new look” seemed to take forever. Changing seasonally is a great idea for a theme. Clever too!

  6. Wow! Great new look. Simple. Smart. And Penny, you are brave. 🙂
Look forward to more from your thoughtful, insightful pen.

    • Thanks mj, I know it sounds silly but at the moment I decided to do this, I did feel as if I were doing a brave thing. I was very comfortable with the other style, but I do like this font (very readable) and the clean crispness of it. Thank you again, I’ll do my best to not disappoint with my written words, my dear and special friend! 🙂

    • You have no idea how many times I started to make the change and then as you said “wimped out” myself, just couldn’t do it. Not sure what the motivation was that made me go check out the choices and then actually do it. A spur of the moment thing. Was very nervous during the process too! Thank you, it just may happen that way to you, too! 🙂

    • Thank you Mike, I think I tried out 50 different styles before choosing. I do like the “clean” look myself, but I wanted it to be something I’d be happy with for awhile as well! 🙂

  7. What a nice change! I tried this earlier this year and I just could not get it to work… Wonderful choice Penny, and let’s add some hugs to this…ready?

    No more than 15 and no less than 20! 🙂 – B

    • Thanks Barb, I was nervous during the process but all turned out well, thank goodness and thank you for the many hugs (love hugs) received and returned of course dear friend! 🙂

    • Hi Lauren, thank you. I’ve had the other one since I started so I was nervous about the change (kind of like moving to a new house). I am pleased you like the new layout my friend, lots of hugs to you also! 🙂

      • I know, it’s hard to take that step and change, but it’s a good thing, too! You did well, my friend! I used to change my cover photo all the time. I change photos a lot on fb, just because I love to view different photos. Now my cover photo has a deeper meaning, so it’ll stay the same for as long as my blog is alive! Sorry for the ramble! 🙂 xx

    • Hello Ivonne. Thank you. The font was definitely one of the reasons I picked this one, and I tried out a whole slew of them before deciding, it was much harder to chose than I would have thought it would be! lol, Again thanks for your vote of confidence on my choice! xx

    • Hi Alastair, thanks, it was difficult to change after having the same comfortable one for so long, but I think I made the right choice. So glad you like it my friend! 🙂

      • I do. I have been thinking of changing mine. But with this theme (which is the same as yours) I can fit a lot of widgets on. I may just change the colour again.
