I believe that this emotion, so difficult to describe, when felt during the most challenging of times, feels the most real to me. It is easy to feel love when life is moving along at an easy clip but to be able to calmly look at someone during the difficult times and know that you would move heaven and earth to ease their pain and their sorrow feels like the real deal to me.
Hello Noeleen, thank you for visiting me. Yes, Love is joy. And I might add so are you. I’ve been reading on your blog for a little while and as you bravely share your life experiences with others, it is uplifting because for those who struggle with their own truths, your words give them courage! Very loving and kind, it is a sincere pleasure to meet you! 🙂
Love, everyone’s favourite anagram of vole. Love is a fascinating feeling, perhaps one that is outside my realm to define for it is all things yet not completely any single definable entity. Which makes it infinitely fascinating and not a bit perplexing. xx
I confess I am completely stumped but being the eager student, who strives to learn everything…except the really difficult maths (I’ll do that last of all)…I would love to know the secret and become an initiate of the Love Army or whatever we call ourselves these days.
It is the “only emotion” that human life “must experience” (be a part of) at some point in their life: birth, adolescence, puberty, teen, adult, to have even the remotest possibility of fulfilling their goals (healthy ones), much less achieving any sort of lasting happiness! The only one! Yup, scientific and historical proof abound, too!
Ah, well now you mention it, it seems so very obvious…hidden in plain sight. I am glad you satisfied that itch for me…after leaving me puzzling for several days, I may add!
My pleasure SteJ, I find anticipation (the waiting of it all) is a good thing in life!
I’ve always wanted some one to describe love… that feeling one has but cannot describe… and I thought you might just have come up with it… but no, it is something no one can describe as I think we would all describe it differently…
Yes you are correct, Bulldog. Love just … is! Simply all embracing, So I think to define it would somehow narrow the definition wouldn’t it my friend! xx

Well spoken dearest friend. Well spoken! xx
Beautiful, Penny. Love is joy.

Ah but did you know there’s a special secret about love … do you know it SteJ? And does anyone else who reads my answer to your comment know it too???
Special secret, is it a cliché like communication, such as “yes dear, I agree”? Not that I have ever done that of course, that was just an example….
Nope!
Being with each other? That’s a good start I believe….
Not that one either, keep trying! 🙂
Remembering birthdays and anniversaries, trying not to be a stalker, dreaming the same dreams….or a mix of all of the above?
No, more of a universal kind of deal – in that all human’s can relate to this!

AnElephantCant help wondering

That unmistakable feeling
That leaves him a-reeling
Is it not just indigestion?
Nope, elephants are known for having a wonderful digestion! Must be the reel deel! xx
