I’m guessing that if I had to pick the person we most often doubt or think poorly of, it is ourselves.Today is a wonderful day to begin believing in yourself. Starting Now! Here are a few quotes to lead the way.
“It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not!” Anonymous
“If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
Bruce Lee, martial arts master
One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.
Lucille Ball
The most important person in your life each day that will make a positive difference in how you proceed will always be you. Let today be that day, Be happy, be positive, make it so,
Have an excellent weekend,
Penny
….There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. Very Inspiring. Thanks 🙂
You are very welcome. That’s my favorite one too! 🙂
Luckily I am always positive, after all there is no good feeling sorry for oneself or having negative thoughts, the real essence of living is bolstering the optimistic side, and then using it to strengthen the road ahead 🙂

I love your attitude, Andro, just one of the things I really enjoy about you, actually, is your positive take on life. Take care of you and hoping your week ahead is a great one! 🙂 xx
So true Penny, we are always hardest on ourselves. As you say, and I completely agree with you, everything has to start with us. If we don’t believe in ourselves then how will anyone else believe in us? Lovely post dear friend. Ruth xx 🙂
Hello dearest friend! Thank you so much Ruth, I hope you’ve had an excellent weekend and are ready for your new week ahead! 🙂 xx
Gotta’ think well of me to keep up my self-esteem!
xx 🙂 🙂 xx
There is so much of you to think well of RoSy, easy deal, in your case (I’m joking here – I do know that there are those days ….) still you do it better than most, that’s why I like us being neighbors! 🙂 xo
“it’s who you think you’re not”. Those words are clanging in my ears because they are so true. I hobbled myself for so long. Thank you. 🙂
You make more sense than lungs do and that is quite impressive. The key to a better life and by extent a better planet for all is the positive. I hope your weekend is also excellent and then a bit more. xx
Being compared to lungs, thanks SteJ. If I offer you a breath of deeply inhaled and exhaled air I am most gratified my friend. Sunny here, sorry about the bad weather being had over there in your part of the world! My weekend is doing very well, thank you, xx
Positive is the way! Have a great Sunday, Penny! My Saturday was perfect, and happy, being very thankful. My Sunday will be great too. I know, I make it so! 🙂
You too Ute, I know you will though, and me too! 🙂 xx
A thought provoking post. Have a great weekend too Penny 🙂
Hello Carolyn, thank you for stopping by, your lovely compliment and well wishes! 🙂

Very important statements there Penny. Thank you sharing them with us
Hi Alastair, thanks my friend! xo
You have a good weekend too…
🙂 xo
Forgot o say, nice post Penny.
If we don’t think positive about ourselves then often we become inert. However when we believe in ourselves and in our abilities nothing is impossible. I realise that the play I am directing at present would never get off the ground if I didn’t believe I could make it do so. Tomorrow is final rehearsal for opening night on Monday evening. A lot of work has gone into the production by me and by my cast. We are excited because we KNOW we have a good show. Fingers crossed our audiences do too.
If you’d like to share in an email, I’d love to know more about the play you’re directing Michael, just if you get a chance, I know you’re busy too. Good luck, break a leg, and all good things. both fingers crossed, no wait a minute (I’ve been told that’s unlucky) so first fingers crossed here! 🙂
