“The hardest thing to accomplish ~ when striving for success,is having the willingness to do what needs to be done,… when you don’t really feel like doing it!”
I’m thinking that you are being far more successful than you think. Coping and surviving during adversity is the art of being successful, in and of itself LuAnn!
In other words…when you pick up the veggies from the co-op, prep them, take care of them right away so you’ll have them to eat another day (before they go bad). And the opportunity is lost…
Work can be fun even if you can’t whistle while doing so…
Time to check the squash baking in the oven 🙂
Wish I could ship you some of the home made soup…eggplant, zucchini, carrots, an onion, a Hungarian wax pepper (hot), a jalapeno pepper, thin strips of rainbow Swiss Chard in home made veggie stock (extra water), salt and pepper… oh and garlic too – going to freeze a good part of that. 🙂
I’ve been known to bury food stuffs in the frig…you know the kind that are declared ‘Science Experiments!’
I read what I had written and it actually meant nothing like what I was meaning.
I was holding my artistic mannequin looking at the way the shadows were falling across it, whilst I was watching a Star Trek film (I’ve now watched all 11 in the last few days). Gotta love the English language and syntax
I agree though, it is true of us all. A couple of days ago, whilst looking at layouts of towns in the 1500’s I just wanted to have written without having to do research.
I must admit to being guilty of this lately.

Hugs, back!
I wish you could too. It must be incredibly delicious Jules. I don’t think this one will go the “Science Experiment” route, however! 🙂
Reblogged this on The ObamaCrat™.
I have to disagree with Summer. It was with me in mind 😆
This brought a huge smile to my face. I was holding my mannequin about half an hour ago as I was watching a film looking at the shadows 🙂
How did you hide the metal pole though?
As I just mentioned to him, I think it holds true for most of us Alastair, depending on the day! Metal pole, ha,ha, love it! 🙂

You wrote that last sentence with me in mind I’m sure. I’m so much that way.
We all are, more or less. Some days it certainly is more true than others, lol!
