Taking a Second Look!

There is beauty to be found in all things … if we but notice. A rose is always a rose, even when laying suspended and partially submerged in smooth flowing water. Might that also be true of many we meet? Slow down, pause, breathe in deeply, and then …

Take that second look. There is beauty in ALL things. Beauty that nourishes and lifts us up. You may be pleasantly surprised with what you view (and feel) if you just take the time to do so!

May your day be a good one for you.

  1. Some people think I’m loony because I see beauty in things that most would think are ghastly. For instance, the last 2 days have been cloudy and rainy, and the temperature has dropped to signify the fact that it’s fall. I’m enjoying the absence of the sun because it’s a change from all the brightness of the summer. The mist of the rain feel wonderful on my skin. The cooler temperatures makes my daily walks so pleasurable.

  2. I love that you see that too my friend….. finding beauty in what may be unnoticeable and mundane to others………… all we have to do is open our eyes and heart to see beauty everywhere. xxx

    • Hi Andro, thank you. Something ethereal in this shot I think! you also an excellent day as well, Friday now for you, it would be about 8 a.m. there, I think – midnight here, so I’m off to bed. Take care of you dear friend of mine! πŸ™‚ xox

  3. I have learned that since taking up photography. There is beauty in spiders, water, sometimes even mud if it flows a certain way. Looking beyond what you see immediately is great advice. Thank you Penny. Hope your day is a good one
