“Nothing is more important than taking care of each other ~ Nothing!” PennyQuote, 2014*
Have a great weekend! p.s. – see my note below, thanks!
Penny
* Hi everyone! What is also important is to have a functioning laptop, computer, etc, if you’re a blogger. My laptop is currently at the “fix-it” doctor. She (yes my laptop is a female) has been under the weather (suffering from chronic overuse, lol) and a few days ago decided to really become “interesting” – as in her own graphic show on top of my homepage and content. So temporarily I am alternating between an old desktop and one of the kids laptops. I miss my p.c. gal and all my data, notes and visuals, stored there for easy convenience. Very interruptive to say the least.
Hopeful won’t be too long, in the meantime, take care of yourself! ~ P

So true Penny, so true.
Thank you Indira, it is isn’t it my friend! xx
These techno things are a bind Penny, we rely on them so much now! Belatedly wishing you a happy new year and hoping that 2014 is a good year for you, Christina and all the family. Love, Ruth xx
Thanks Ruth and the same to you and yours. May you have a healthy and prosperous year! And a reallllllly happy one! Much love, Penny xx
Love penny’s quotes ! 😀 Hope your laptop gets well soon 😉 Have a nice day
Hi partner. Thank you, as always. Looks like getting a new one is in the works, unfortunately. I am having withdrawl symtoms from my PC, sigh. Hope your weekend is a great one Tina, With much affection, 🙂 xo
Nice quote!
Hi Celestine, thank you. A true thing that I know you believe in as well, my friend! xx
Hey Penny, How’s things? 🙂
All the best with your girl I hope she gets rebooted soon! 🙂
BTW: Happy New Year to you, hugs Paula xxx
Hi Paula, Hows Oz going? Happy New Year, my friend! My PC gal is unfortunately going to be replaced soon, Darn it all. But that’s okay, onward and upward, right? Big hugs back to you 🙂 xxxxx
Hey Penny! 🙂
It’s extremely hot where I am and not fun! 🙂
Still winter will come and I’ll want the sun back, right? Lol
All the best with your PC. Huge hugs, Paula xxxxx
As king Lear said “Nothing comes of nothing” but from something good will come something even more so. Hope Mrs Laptop gets well soon! xx
Ah well, SteJ, all things happen for a reason. My next PC will be an even better one, I’m thinking! xx
Good luck with that Penny, I can certainly empathize with you as one whose laptop crashed last weekend for a 2nd time in 5 months. It has been quite a week with buying a new one and loading it up to function like the old one so I feel for you. 🙂
Hi Debby,, thank you. It looks like I’ll be going through the same process, as my PC gal has bitten the dust (so to speak)! The way of things today. Have a great weekend my friend! 🙂
Thanks Penny, you as well! It is a sad occasion when we must bid goodbye to our trusted friend who holds so much about us and the starting over of befriending a new laptop. Good luck! 🙂
Thanks Debby! 🙂
Hope you get her back soon all restored and healthy. From the peoples view I agree totally with your quote, totally! Have a restful Sunday Penny!
Thanks Ute. looking like it makes more sense to get a new computer, which is unfortunate as this one (not an inexpensive one either) is only 3 years old, sigh. Oh well, all these things happen for a good reason. I hope your weekend coming up is a happy one for you dear friend! xx
Well my son says a 3 year old computer is out of date. I just got his new laptop which is beautful, much more fun on hte sofa, reading blogs than on the big computer. Hope you can sort yours soon! Much love from Ute xx
Well your son is correct, Ute! Everything now comes with built in obsolescence (unfortunately) guaranteeing that nothing mechanically electronic will last too long – handy for those who sell technology isn’t it – not so much for the consumer however! Much love to you, glad you are enjoying your sons! xx
Penny, we hope she’ll be better asap. Extra Soft pawkisses might help. So here they come 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Thank you so much. Especially the pawkisses, always greatly appreciated and they do help. Just so you know. You also have a special and happy weekend coming up! 🙂 xx
Poor Lappy.
Happy Weekend to you & the fam.
xo 🙂 🙂 xo
Poor indeed. Ah well, life goes on, RoSy. Miss you. Happy Weekend to you and yours pal of mine! 🙂 xo
Happy weekend to you & your fam too.
xo 🙂 🙂 xo
I know all too well how difficult it is to keep in touch when your laptop is sick or your internet service is as well. My gal will be taking a trip to the Apple store in another week to get healthy once again. Have a great weekend Penny! 🙂
Hi LuAnn. I’m on Emma’s computer right now, squeezing in time between her online homework and creativity. Currently looking for a new PC, sadly. But such is life, not too worry all be resolved soonest! 🙂 xx
I know computer woes intimately. My Apple just got taken to the doctor today and I am now awaiting a new part. 😦
These are things that happen indeed. Good weekend Penny 🙂
Hi Gys. Sigh, I wish it were otherwise, but you are correct! Hope your weekend coming up is a great one for you my friend! 🙂 xx
Sorry to hear about your laptop, Penny! But I hope “she” gets better real soon, too! Have a good weekend, regardless! 🙂 xo
Thank you, Lauren. Yes the search for a new computer is now in full swing! 🙂
Hi Penny hope you have a great weekend, and hope she gets better soon ;).
Thanks Doris, Me too. I’m out searching for a new computer this week, sigh, but all will be well soonest! xx 🙂
aloha Penny. i know this ailing computer zone. best well being on her. and just breathe until she’s well on you. aloha.
Hi Rick, Happy New Year! Busy coming up with solutions right now. Hopefully not too much longer, thanks for your warm thoughts! Much appreciated.
I was going to say “hope she gets better soon”, but Andy beat me to it lol
Have a great weekend as much as you can Penny. I know that without the computer there you miss it even more
Thanks Alastair, I don’t think we realize how much a part of our life it is, until it’s not there!
I know. I went to babysit for my sister the other day, and the thought of not being able to use my laptop whilst I was there scared the wibblies out of me. So I took it with me. Glad I did because she was more 2 hours later than she should have been, and I had so many things I needed to do.
Any news on how any chirugery is going with it?
She’s fried! Am currently looking at new models. No worries on transferring stuff over. Just the familiarity and pre-programmed set-ups that I’ll miss for awhile!
Oh dear 😦
Hope you get your laptop fixed soon!
Thank you, hopefully will have solutions for everything soon!
Hope ‘she’ gets better soon so you can join us again Penny! 😀
Thanks Andy. Can’t wait to have this situation resolved! 🙂
Keep us posted! 🙂
