“Ah, sweet mystery of life … at last I’ve found you …” These are oft spoken words, but are they true – for you?
Is there mystery in your life? Do you have a passionate regard for all things living? The known and the unknown? Are you a life explorer, ready for each challenge that may and will come your way?
Do you embrace each new day, crave the wonderful potential waiting to unfold before you?
You should, you know. It’s your life and it’s happening right now, all around you. Each morning the sun rises, each evening moon beams shine down from celestial skies, the composition of which is mysterious and marvelous.
As Robert Heinlein once said, “Life is short, live wide.”
And a final quote from the wisest and one of my most favorite people ever,
“Remember the most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead and his eyes are dimmed.” ~ Albert Einstein
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Filled with all good things, especially those cherished memories brought to mind on this Memorial Weekend here in the USA, as we are are reminded of those no longer with us. Let us celebrate their lives by celebrating our own.Take care of you and yours, with much affection, ~ Penny

As you know, AnElephant loves and lives the Heinlein quote, sometimes to the exasperation of his friends and loved ones.
He hopes you are still living wide.

When I looked a little, teensy more like your photos I lived a larger, physical life, but now, well, it’s a larger brain life.

Good words, sometimes surprisingly difficult to adhere too with regards to positiveness but I get there mostly. Wise words as ever P. I hope you have a great weekend. xx
Hey there SteJ. Long time no visit (that would be me actually) but I am getting a fair amount of writing done and still involved with telephone conversations with my publisher. She actually thinks I’m going to get this one done (lol) I hope so too. You have the bestest weekend every. xxx

Hi Debby, Heinlein is one of my very favorite sci fi authors. His outlook on life was much like his quote. Have an excellent and relaxing weekend dear friend. 🙂
Thanks and wishing you the same Penny! 🙂
Wishing you a wonderful weekend too, Penny. I am in Germany visiting my mum and had the opportunity to go to the cemetery to my dad too. I cherished the moments. Much love my dearest Penny and a big hug. 💕
Hi Ute, thank you dear friend ( although it’s a week later, sigh) you have an excellent weekend yourself. Soak up the rays and the beauty of this time of the year and mostly … relax and enjoy! Hugs to you xxx
I love the mystery of the world. The mysterious nature, the wondrous, the perfect, the beautiful.
Einstein – definitely a great mind. One of the true mysteries and wonders of the 20th century.
Hope you all have a great weekend Penny
Hello again Alastair, as you can see I’m catching up on comments. of which I’m actually surprised I’m still getting any at all having been absence so much in our online neighborhood!
I agree with you and Einstein (aren’t we in good company though) the mysterious world is great fun)! 🙂
I am surprised that I still get them when I can’t visit many people any more. Too much going on and so many people who read my blog. I know my visitors has dropped by a couple of hundred a day, but that is to be expected when I can’t get everywhere. With the course and the writing and the wondrous and mysterious world.
What a wonderful post Penny! I love the Einstein quote! May you have a weekend of bliss and be surrounded by those that you love! Be well! ^..^
Hi Barb. Thank you my dear friend. It’s a week later but you have an excellent weekend ahead yourself. And keep taking care of you! Much love, xoxoxo
