Addendum to famous Quotes … That which does not kill us …

“That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.”

Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900)

While Nietzche’s words are true, I just felt he left a little something out so …

Addendum to his quote: “However it is also certain we will

get chewed up, quite a bit, during the process of survival

… stay away from the teeth!”

PL Howe, 2014

Everyone be careful, but have a great weekend. Remember to have some fun!

  1. “That which does not kill us…
… had better run pretty darn fast”

I agree, we do become stronger, but at what cost? It will strengthen us in some ways, and weaken us in others.

Have a good weekend Penny. I will be out of touch over the weekend, blog wise. I’ve nearly finished scheduling posts for tomorrow, Saturday and the prompt for Sunday.

      • Thanks very much Penny. I want to a friend’s wedding, he picked me up and took me there, as I couldn’t afford to go. He told me that as we have been friends for nearly 18 years, he was not going to have his wedding without me. So he did a 960 mile round trip. Twice. He did take me up a mountain afterwards though 🙂

  2. Quotes and your addendum reminded me of this one: You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, and if you could it would probably smell bad! 🙂 Hugs to you Penny! Be well!

Thank you for your thoughts!
