The Passion of Creativity

Well here we are. It is the year 2014. Nothing seems to be larger than interactive internet and the innovative technological inventions that permeate all, totally and completely overwhelming, and we are extremely addicted to same.

So what’s next? I don’t know but I believe it will be exciting and a very good thing. The global internet (as we know and understand it today) has brought people from all parts of the planet closer together. There is the business to business aspect of partnering world-wide (ecommerce), for not only multinational concerns but also the small business entrepreneur, and even greater than this is the private citizen’s amazing ability to communicate almost immediately, anywhere with anyone.

Team Spirit

More humans on the planet are understanding that the passion of a thing (fires the hard work that is necessary and) can produce results. And building reality from a dream, happens faster with a team and team spirit. (One only has to look at Silicon Valley to fully be aware of this.) Many, many, more humans are realizing there is potential, and that their dreams can become reality. The internet fosters those dreams and this is a very good thing, I believe.

hopeful dream to idea

Hopeful Dream to Idea to …

In conclusion I’d just like to add, there is no doubt or question that we humans are the proud parents of the Internet and while our baby continues to grow, we will continue to learn and grow with it. Why? Our passion for the creative, our need to grow as humans and our desire to be all we can be … come what may!

Congratulations to Jack Ma, his wonderful team and of course Alibaba … May you live long and prosper!

  1. Thanks for the good post. Since blogging on WP I feel like my dream is real and i have done better at making it a reality – increased my commitment. Maybe that is due to the internet’s and blogs in particular making me feel like there are all these people that are creators, dreamers, doers and people who know that their efforts matter to make their own life and the human race happier and better–evolving beyond the muck and mire of couch-potatoe-ism and bitching that it is someone else’s fault if they can’t do/be what they want in life.

    • Thank you Trella, and I do agree with you. There are many who really do care, passionately so, in the blogging community. One of the things I enjoy about blogging so much is meeting online with people like you and I, always brightens my day!

  2. Okay, so now I have the song in my head with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

Who knows what comes next. What comes next week. What comes next year. What comes next century. One thing I do know, we will never be ready for it, but that doesn’t stop us from embracing it.

  3. I was once asked by one of my son’s school friends..”..weren’t you bored when you were young with out the internet? – what did you do all day” “Inventing this stuff I told him”

I agree with you, there are more upsides to the internet than downsides. And remember – give a man a fish and you feed him for a day – give him the internet and he won’t bother you for months! 🙂

    • Hi Bill. Thanks for responding and agreeing with me. There always is a downside to innovation, but on the whole it does seem to carry us forward (a bit) towards … the future? Love your humorous take also, and agree! 🙂

Thank you for your thoughts!
