Be An Encourager … It Will Rebound Back To You!

Be An Encourager!

“Acknowledge, reward, praise and applaud.
Encouragement – a wonderful gift to receive,
an even better one to give … always!
~ Penny L Howe, 2013

We each know how good we feel when someone says something encouraging to us. The day seems a little bit brighter and we feel better about ourselves and what we are trying to accomplish.

It works the other way too. Each time we take just a few extra minutes to be supportive, let another person know we think they’re doing a good job, it brightens their day as well. It can mean so much more than we realize, perhaps even making that important difference in self confidence and determination at a time when really needed.

So today, have a great day and make an effort to appreciate those around you. Your rewards will be obvious by their smiles and the pleasure exhibited on their faces. Such positive and uplifting feelings to be experienced, a wonderful thing for them and for you.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend up ahead and remember to always take care of you.

  1. When you encourage others, you in the process are encouraged because you’re making a commitment and difference in that person’s life. Encouragement really does make a difference.

I just posted some videos of me reciting some poetry. Feel free to check them out. Hope you feel some encouragement yourself.

  2. My husband said the other day that so many people had said nice things and thanked him recently that he was feeling quite moved, if not near to tears. For a man who was born in Birmingham, this is some admission!
Anyway, it proves the point you’re making. It is so, so, so important to be supportive of others and recognise their contribution, however big or small.

Thank you for your thoughts!
