“Acknowledge, reward, praise and applaud.
Encouragement – a wonderful gift to receive,
an even better one to give … always!”

We each know how good we feel when someone says something encouraging to us. The day seems a little bit brighter and we feel better about ourselves and what we are trying to accomplish.
It works the other way too. Each time we take just a few extra minutes to be supportive, let another person know we think they’re doing a good job, it brightens their day as well. It can mean so much more than we realize, perhaps even making that important difference in self confidence and determination at a time when really needed.
So today, have a great day and make an effort to appreciate those around you. Your rewards will be obvious by their smiles and the pleasure exhibited on their faces. Such positive and uplifting feelings to be experienced, a wonderful thing for them and for you.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend up ahead and remember to always take care of you.

It truly does.
xo 🙂 🙂 xo
When you encourage others, you in the process are encouraged because you’re making a commitment and difference in that person’s life. Encouragement really does make a difference.

I just posted some videos of me reciting some poetry. Feel free to check them out. Hope you feel some encouragement yourself.
Hi Charlie. Thanks.
Hope you are doing well. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Lovely post. As a teacher, this has been my role in life. Now I am retired it is still very important. Thank you for the reminder. All the best to you 🙂
Hi Sally, sorry this response took so long.
Oops, hit send too soon, lol. I can see you filling the role of encourager perfectly. Just the way you naturally are. The very, very best to you also. Have a great weekend, my friend. xo
Yea 🙂 to continue an encourager.
Absolutely, in every way we can, Yoshiko. 🙂
🙂 glad to hear from you, Penny
Thanks, Penny! I needed this one today. Have a great weekend, too!
Hi Alejandro. I’m so glad my words were of value. You also, the best weekend possible!
Very nice, would like to share it ….
Please share Archana, I like to think that’s what blogging and bloggers are all about! 🙂
My husband said the other day that so many people had said nice things and thanked him recently that he was feeling quite moved, if not near to tears. For a man who was born in Birmingham, this is some admission!
Anyway, it proves the point you’re making. It is so, so, so important to be supportive of others and recognise their contribution, however big or small.
Hi Sarah, he and you are absolutely right. Most especially the small, which we all can accomplish, my friend.
