“Stay writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on” ~ Louis L’Amour
Write … on the good days.
Write … on the bad days.
Write … when your happy.
Write … when your sad.
Write … in the morning, and/or
Write … in the afternoon, and/or
Write … in the evening, and/or
Write … in the night time.
Just Write!
That’s it. The one thing every single successful writer will tell you is that they write – a lot – whole bunches & bunches of words.
All the other things you’ll need to know about editing, publishing, marketing etc. you can research and learn … when you’re not writing!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend – are you writing? ☺

I like this post and your blog! Your advice on writing is the most important things when it comes to writing!
How simple is that?
xo 🙂 🙂 xo
Definitely! 😄, ☺xo
I am! I write my blog every day. And, having to deal with other issues has taken me away from one of my three top passions: Writing, Cooking and Gardening! I have a friend who has offered to do an edit, and I am almost done with that.
One other thought on how to be successful: Write about what you have experienced! It makes writing so much easier!
Hugs to you my dear Penny! I am trying to do some catch up. I have had a number of trying days and am trying to get back on track! Love to you… ^..^
I love this Penny. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤
Great post Penny! Hope you are having a lovely Mothers Day. 🙂
Hi LuAnn. Thanks, my friend! I am, indeed.
Hoping you’re enjoying your weekend, too. ☺💕
Wait, you mean I can’t become a novelist without writing a few books? Blasphemy!
Yeah, I know, how rude is that! Maybe if a person thinks hard enough the words will magically appear. Of course if that should happen to you … please share on how you did it. Actually it would make a great “How-To” book, yuk, yuk, yuk! 🙂
I am guilty of that. Though I have a bunch of them, I haven’t edited and published it.

Yoshiko, sounds like you need to get on the ball and get your work out there, my friend! 🙂
Thanks, my friend 🙂
I write on ever day that ends in ‘y’
Hey Andrew, glad to hear you take time off on the days that don’t end in “y” lol! 🙂
