“Sometimes I miss it – the beauty of a moment ~ which then moves on in stealthy fashion.
Analogous vibrating molecules of the poetry of a beautiful passing moment, shifting from here and now to a parallel peripheral to become cosmic music resonating through hyper space perhaps escaping to one of the eleven dimensions of which theoretical physicists speculate.
Meanwhile in this universe, the temporary abode where I reside, vision and senses once again caught up in deluded preoccupation with just plain regular things. Known entities with known outcomes being naught but what they always are …
. . . distractions!
Thus in that moment of sheer wonder, the perfect and spontaneous specialness of a beautiful moment dissipates and this new potential entry into the poetry of my life will not be written or experienced by me, but heard for ever more somewhere out there in the Universal Collective Consciousness. But then it’s all relative, isn’t it. Sigh.” Penny L. Howe, 2016
Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work. ~ A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything. ~Plato
Your blog is pure wisdom and I love this. Very well written. 🙂
Well written!! 😆
Ha,ha.😄 Glad I’m not the only one this happens to.
That was the second typo of the day! 😄 Blaming it on the sun and first day back at work after weeks holiday 😆
Yes, both those things would do it, most definitely! 😅
Love this one Penny – resonates with me and we’ll written 😀
Hello there, my friend and thank you so very much. I’m very glad for the resonates part! ☺
It was excellent! Reminds me if how I like to write sometimes though currently I’m bogged down writing essays for my canine psychology course which is wiping out the imaginative writing streak very effectively at the mo!
Thanks. I have a theory about that (your inclination for how you like to write sometimes). Happens to me as well. I believe there is an intuitive creativity (connected to our imaginations) just hovering outside our reach (always there waiting) – this cumulative aggregate of creativeness and therefore I wish for its swift return to you.
Me too! I miss it! You’re theory is very well explained. I do of course agree with you 100%. I just wish that creativity would hover within reach for a change!
I bet it’s closer than you think it is right now!
So true…darn distractions do it every time. 🙂
Hi Susan. Yes indeed! 🙂
As you so aptly, and so frequently, say:
Sigh
It seems unfashionable to ask why, as if why is a dirty word. I like that you always do. We must always ask why
Thank you, kindly. I agree with you. It’s a sort of moral imperative type of thing.
