Sheer unadulterated strength. Okay, you got that! Focused sense of purpose. You got that too, right? A go for it – make things happen mentality. Right?
Well, all evidence to your current contrary … you really do. You just need your specific access point. That point which leads you to bypass then overcome doubts, insecurity, and worries.
But first, it’s important to remember your doubts should not begin with someone elses doubts about you, your ideas and/or your goals because all too frequently, when sharing your dream with others, it will be their negativity and doubts triggering your own.
Someone else telling you that you aren’t worthy or capable. Someone else questioning your ability to achieve. Someone else telling you you can’t do that. And they’re out there. Lots and lots of negative thinking, insecure oriented people who don’t really want you to succeed … because they haven’t. You wont find a happy successful person who will doubt your idea. They know. They’ve been there themselves and when no one else did, they believed in themselves.
So go ahead, dismiss the doubters and while you’re at it dismiss your own doubts too.
Complacency – that’s next on your list as to the why you aren’t making things happen for yourself. I’m not saying your satisfied with where you are, I’m suggesting there may be a comfort level with the “known” in your life, a disinclination to approach those potential unknowns. Am I right? Well that’s really just about fear. And as we all know, fear is one of the strongest emotions out there. So we’re dealing with an emotion, a feeling, not an actual thing but rather something YOU can handle by understanding that.
Listen to your dreams. Make that your catalyst for action because you can do this. If you dream it you can achieve it. Truly. You can do this.
Sooooo … make it so. Successful achievement becomes you and as I like to say #YouGoOn – because you can!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend and always take care of you.
With sincere affection,
~ Penny
Thank you for these encouraging words.
Thank you, and thank you kindly for your visit.
Love these points and agree with all of them!
Hi, Cindy. Much appreciated, my friend.
Thank you the motivation, Penny. We don’t realise when we might need it, but we do, in time. Have a great weekend yourself.
Thank You, Asha. Yes we do. You have an excellent weekend also – a most creative one.
Hi Penny, so many thoughts about this one. I find as I blog more and more i have to step back from time to time and rethink what it is i am on about. I love the writing process but apart from the buzz it provides me with I don’t have any ambitions to write novels or plays anymore. I like the instant response to a prompt and when I think about your post I have my own detractors and they are all contained within me. I don’t have many external critics, as yet, so I tend to write what I like but I know I do have to be sensitive to others and I do try to do that. I don’t think I am complacent but rather when I see a challenge that allows me to explore an idea or an issue in my life I go for it to see if I can expose it for myself. I hope that makes some sense.
Hope you have a good weekend too…..I’m about halfway through my Saturday down here. Take care..
Hi there, Michael. How the heck are you, my friend? How is your weather in Australia? I do hear what you’re saying. Challenges are a good thing. We learn from overcoming life’s obstacles . Even if we have to deal with our own inner critics. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. Keep taking care of you. xxx
Hi Penny,
The weather is great, cold mornings, sunny warm days.
Lovely to hear from you.
Stay well, I am doing ok…🤓
I will Michael. Stay cool, but not literally! 😎
