When Dreamers Dream

123dreaming

A Dreamer Dreaming!

When Dreamers Dream … which they do (of course) … there is this ethereal sort of frequency (quality of thought) released from the dreamer’s emotions, Emanating outward, coalescing into the most magnificent potentials existing right on the precipice where never ending possibilities lay in wait.

Not beyond our capabilities to create because … after all, we’ve dreamed them into existence.

How very beautiful: Our dreams, those created and crafted potentials, and of course … the dreamers. This being All Of Us! Yay “Us”!

Soooo ….Go Dreamers go. Dream big. Dream strong. dream long. Dream creative but most importantly … dream on!

Thanks for stopping by, I wish a most positive and creative uplifting week to every single dreamer out there. Stay safe, stay well.

With great affection,

~ Penny

Sensual Prelude

My gift to you – A rose

Hello and most welcome my talented friends. Did you know Sensuality exists inside each of us, every moment of everyday, if we are but aware of it. It lies in repose waiting to come forth.

We are who we are and online in this rich and vibrant virtual world where creativity can flow unabated, we are allowed to express ourselves fully and completely. The sensual endeavor is in no way handicapped by a virtual limitation, actually it seems we are freer to share, explore, taste and more fully enjoy the bounty of sensual expression from each other.

During this series “The Art of Sensuality” I will share with you visuals, and words and sounds to move the essence that is within the sensual nature of your very being, your soul. To be Sensual – open your heart, hear what wants to be heard, see what wants to be seen, taste, smell and touch and then – express. In your words, your music, your songs, your photographs, your paintings, illustrations, and most importantly in your life with those you love and care for.

So let us begin then. Ready? Enjoy…

Petals of desire

A gift of beginnings

A rosebud

unfolding red petals

velvet texture upon my skin

caressing

delicate, sweetness

exotic fragrance of desire

so warming

an essence from nature

sweetly beguiling

enchanting

from within

blooming without

And I find

as the

 petals unfold

…impatience

open, unfold, my beauty

that I might

fully inhale and embrace

your seductive lovliness

my glorious rose!

When in doubt be creatively plausible?

I did start out prepared to do the right thing. Really! I was going to stay right on top of responding to the people who might nominate me for those excellent blogging awards (see honorable intentions here). If you look at the top of this blog site you will see to the far right the word BELONG. I created this section specifically for the purpose of displaying blog awards and all that goes with them.

So the thing is I got behind. (Yes I do have an excuse although not a very good one, still….I’ve only being seriously blogging for a few days more than a month so I’m just getting my sea legs, so to speak.

And yes I do have writing skills, but this shouldn’t be confused with blogger skills, in this area I’m a serious newbie and still learning not only the rules of the road but everything that has to do with the various tekky how-to things.  And I know it’s still an excuse (“Just because you have a reason why, doesn’t make something okay!”- Wisdom from my mom when I was little.)

And all you bloggers have been very friendly and interactive with me so I have been right back at you (because I care of course – and that takes up time too! Yes I know another excuse!)

So here’s the deal – when in doubt be creatively plausible. It’s worked for me in the past so I’m going to try it today. I will mention each of the awards I’ve been nominated for in the past week (I can’t even find one of them – the sunshine award, I know it’s here somewhere amidst my emails and comments, but I just can’t seem to locate the sucker.).

Anyway I will speak with great regard for each of the lovely people who nominated me and figure out a way to catch up with the rest of the responsibilities that go with being honored for each of the blogging awards. (Hey cool, I just found my sunshine award nomination hidden away in the comments from the 21st.)

I’m actually quite proud of the prowess I’m beginning to display in navigating somewhat intelligently around my wordpress dashboard. Don’t laugh, I’m wise beyond belief in some areas,(and if you think I’m actually serious here – get used to disappointment. Should you be a fan of the classic movie The Princess Bride you’ll get this reference.) creative off the wall too, and then there’s all the rest of the stuff where I’m a total ignoramus! Though, someone recently asked me for help in the blogger tech-world and I even managed to help them.

   Very Inspiring Blogger Award

So without any more delays, in the past seven days I’ve been nominated for the Hobbles Award, the Very Inspiring Blogger Award, the Sunshine Award, the Beautiful Blogger Award, and the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. Don’t they look lovely all grouped together up above? (Good Grouping! – If you’re a fan of the classic movie Young Frankenstein you’ll also get this reference.)

I was nominated for the Hobbles Award by two very special Blogger friends, Nhan Pham and Nenskei.

  • Nhan Pham – You can find Nhan of Nhan-Fiction at http://nhanfiction.wordpress.com/, he is a serious gamer and a very talented and gifted writer. I would greatly encourage you to visit his blog.
  • Nenskei – You can follow her by visiting her blog The Way I Live Naturally  http://nenskeifacestheworld.wordpress.com, She is both poetic and whimsical with a little bit of mystery thrown in. All in all a delight to follow. I certainly think so. Be sure to visit her soon.

The Sunshine Blog Award was nominated to me by

  •   Kina, Her blog is Human in Recovery. She can be reached at http://humaninrecovery.wordpress.com, Her blog is a very personal journal of recovery, growth and healing. Kina herself is a gentle and caring woman. Her blog is inspirational and uplifting – a good one to follow.

I was nominated for the  Very Inspiring Blogger Award by

  • Cimplicity Rocks. I really enjoy the fun of this Blog. It is very clever, sometimes inspirational, frequently funny but always interesting, a very good blog to follow at http://cimplicityrockss.wordpress.com.

I received nominations to the last two Awards –The Beautiful Blogger Award and The Sisterhood of the World Award from Nizy.

  • Nizy’s Life Compendium is a delightful blog to visit at http://nackynice.wordpress.com. Nizy is a lovely human being. She loves to mediate, write and share. A very positive person her writings are a delight to read. She’s worth the visit!

A complete page for each of these wonderful awards and all that goes along with each of them will be forth coming as expeditiously as possible. There, hows that for plausible creativity?

I’m listening…

…And I hear you!

Isn’t that what we all want? Each one of us?

To be heard! To be noticed.

To be needed, an essential part of things but recognized through our own individual expression.

Reaching out to others on our own terms. To explore, experience, learn, grow and share all with the strong desire to make a positive difference while learning to understand the nature of who and why we are.

I spent much of last night reading the postings of many bloggers and I was moved.  I read interesting and well-crafted words presented by a wide variety of people from around the world. I also read the often times moving comments of other bloggers sharing in the experience.

I viewed beautiful and well executed photography. I read inspirational and moving thoughts and ideas, reflections that ranged from new knowledge in a given subject to that of experiencing and coping with pain, joy, beauty and laughter – and last but not least the powerful and creative written word.  All through the medium of blogging.

We have a need to share, to connect – express ourselves and be heard. We need to make a difference and we want to grow and learn about ourselves while we do so.

Blogging is an artistic medium for individual expression

I for one revel in it!  – Penny L Howe, 2012

Creativity

CREATIVITY n. The use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work.

My entire life I’ve been fascinated with the creative process that happens inside my mind. For a long time now I’ve felt the strong desire to write about the nature of creativity, exploring how everyone uses creativity as a form of personal expression. I want to hear from everyone.  Their ideas, thoughts and feelings about creativity in their own lives.

The definition of the word creativity in the New Oxford American Dictionary (written above) points to imagination, original ideas, and artistic work. Everyone knows what imagination means because there are those who are simply loaded with it and constantly feel the need to share their highly original and creative thought processes with us, daily and repeatedly (for any who might feel this is directed specifically at them – I’m expressing my opinion in a positive and fun loving way). My guess is also that most of us have lots of original ideas too. Its what we do with them that fascinates me.

When it comes to the word artistic I take a pretty broad view of the meaning. To me, an artistic thought process or idea extends to any subject a person is thinking  about whether it be the written word, a drawing or painting, taking a photo or video; a musical composition, a creative performance, an athletic accomplishment, a mathematic equation, creating a new food recipe and so forth. In other words, if the mind is busy creating a new method or approach – an original point of view – then it is thinking in an artistic and therefore creative way.

I believe every single human being on this planet has creative thoughts and ideas every day. In fact it is the very nature of these creative ideas that more often than not motivate people to pursue their daily and life long accomplishments. Truly, there is a need for creative activity and expression in each of our lives.

Welcome to my blog all you creative like minded people. I encourage your input, thoughts and comments on the topic of Creativity. Thanks for stopping by!

So first question: Do you think you are a creative person and if you are WHY? and if your not WHY? (once again remember that I believe all people are creative, many just don’t realize it! So what about YOU?
