I Call Your Name!

To be Thought of.

To be Needed.

To be Special, have a sense of  Purpose, of Value.

To be Considered “Of Importance”.

… Just by having one’s name called.

To be not-forgotten, to be real, to be alive.

… Just by having one’s name spoken.

And whether it’s whispered, or said aloud with reverence, respect, care, love, and concern – well then … life is just about the best thing ever … when someone calls your name …

*Because in that moment – you know you matter!

~

*Don’t forget – your children (to the youngest of the young), your parents (to the oldest of the old), your other family members, your friends (those you know and those you haven’t met yet) Your pets and all animals in the wild, our living planet. Call their names – reach out, the loving touch and vibration of your thoughts and voice will reach them, striking a warm harmonious chord and they will know they matter! As all life has the right to know and feel!

Wouldn’t it be nice …

bedtime

~

Wouldn’t it be nice … if the first thing in the morning, you woke to (what to you) would be a wonderful awakening? Whatever you determine that might be! A loving individual giving you a cheerful good morning, someone to joyfully lend a hand to your morning (hectic) activities needing to be accomplished. Something in nature or your life that simply welcomes you in a joyous way to the new day.

And wouldn’t it also be nice if the last thing at night before you closed your eyes and slept, you received those same joyful feelings? Because someone or something occurred that suddenly made your whole day seem worthwhile. And more important; maybe helped you to sleep a little better, not be so stressed out about things and wake in the morning, looking forward to your new day.

Wouldn’t it be nice?

Soooooo. Stop reading (unless you just woke up or are getting ready to go to bed) and then come back and finish this post then!

Although I’m not there

in person.

And cannot reach out and touch you,

 sooth your tired spirit

and comfort your weary soul.

Nor can I physically

reach out and hold your hand,

squeezing with affection.

I cannot look deeply into your eyes

and convince you of your worth and value

to this life we share of, on our planet.

However …

… I can and do remind you of

how unique and special you

are to me, and important.

I can send you love across the miles

with a wish of well-being for you on this day.

You are not alone,

you are loved.

Have the best weekend you can have!

The amazing and true value of blogging ~ for YOU!

Why are you blogging?

why do you blog

Why did you take the time to learn how to set up your own blog site, either on Word Press, or somewhere else? After a few (okay lots more than a few) trial and error learning skills, what were your topics (the subjects you wrote/illustrated/photographed) about when you first started posting? And why? You know, the purpose.

connectingAs you think on that, ask yourself why you visit other blog sites. Why you take the time to read the content being presented and in many cases “like”, comment, reblog, twitter, share on facebook, and use other various forms of multimedia to pass along what you’ve just viewed. Why?

Each of us has a reason for why we do a thing. Especially if it’s a sustained time consuming thing. Most times we start something for one reason and end up doing it for some other reason all together.

So as you think on the questions I’ve asked – here’s a few finally ones. What do you personally get out of the blogging experience? Is it fulfilling to you? Does it make a positive difference? Does it make everyday a learning experience? Are you meeting new online people, sharing making new online friends? Are you sharing with each other?

My personal thoughts on “the why about this subject”: There are billions of real people out there on this planet of ours. They are just like you and I. They want/need to be interactive, grow, learn new things, reach out, share a talent, sell a product, inspire, motivate, make a difference – BE CONNECTED!

The thing is we are all human so we want and need each other. Anything that brings us closer, furthers us along … on the ultimate goal. The one we head towards on the road being traveled – our individual journey through life:

To believe in oneself.

For others to believe in us.

To make a difference and become more than we are today.

Love others and be loved.

“To me the blogging experience provides a positive connection to help us achieve our goals!”

Life’s bridges … our connections to others!

file0001692203283

Are life’s bridges that we build (or that someone has built for us) of the durable kind, or do we take shortcuts in the building of them?

Do we use them and then move on? Be careful, the connections we make with others during our living years are as the ebb and flow of the tides of the ocean, but our personal bridges are an integral part of our living network of communication and support in the real world.

Structural Integrity is a term used to imply the safety and strength of a bridge used for vehicles and people to cross over. Maintaining them makes common sense. The same is true for us.

Is there a structural integrity to your personal life’s bridges? If not, shore them up, make them durable. One never knows when you may pass a certain way again and need a bridge you’d long forgotten and hence discover it is no longer available to you – when you find you need it most.

This video with the song “burning bridges” I picked deliberately. It’s a great movie that does illustrate the stupid insanity of Wars and the leaders who promote them. The words of the song, well they speak for themselves!
