The most beautiful thing in the Morning!

Morning Dove By Anncam

What is the most beautiful thing you wake up to each morning?

Hello everyone. I woke up extra early today. Well rested, my rising early was rewarded with the view of a glorious autumn sunrise. It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

Inside, in the predawn stillness, aromatic smells of freshly roasted coffee entice, the hot beverage is nectar to my taste buds. A second cup and my sleepy mind energizes. I whip up a batch of cinnamon streusel muffins all the while thinking … well, all sorts of good thoughts.

Everyone else is still sleeping, their minds filled with pleasant dreams from yesterday. Beginning on Fridays (in between chores and responsibilities) we seem to have extra does of creativity. Yesterday (after work and school), we played games, made cookies, and suspended our cares and worries for awhile.

It was late last night, when we retired. This morning the air is now rich with blended aromas of fresh coffee and baking cinnamon streusel muffins, and I hear sounds of others beginning to stir.

Sitting here at my laptop, I reflect on the most beautiful thing I can think of. And guess what? Beauty is all around me, everywhere. It’s Life. The little things that on many days I don’t notice. Today I’m reminded to be grateful.

For me, without a doubt, the most beautiful thing I woke up to this morning was another day (and I cherish it)! Having the ability to experience, share, give and receive. With full awareness of the blessings I’ve been given, I accept the responsibility that is mine for being able to be part of life and, with much love in my heart, I welcome the day and all that it has to offer – come what may.

Today, take some time to remind yourself how lucky you are and to be sincerely grateful. Life is filled with ongoing daily problems (some, really hard ones too) but you can weather the storm. If your heart is filled with love and gratitude for what you do have, your day can still be beautiful too. Blessings to all of you, this Saturday morning!

when recognizing them for what they are – A Gift to you!
Show your gratitude by giving back!”

A song, A reminder and a gift for you!

Sowing MiraclesA gift for you, please take and share as you like! Spread the love!

“When you’re worried and you can’t sleep, count your blessings … instead of sheep and you’ll fall asleep … counting your blessings!”

When all is said and done we’re just human beings. One of more than 7 billion populating our planet. We have many different beliefs, faiths, and backgrounds; where we come from, where we’re going, how we want to get there, what we want to change – but we’re still all people – every one us!

*

This week look for whats good inside each person you meet or hear about – try counting your blessings and then bless all those with whom you harbor ill feelings! When you open your heart, good things will happen!

May your week be filled with love. Bless you, one and all!

All that I Am!

An expression in poetry regarding the Human Spirit in ALL of us!

The human spirit

All that I Am

I am as constant as clouds floating high overhead.

My concerns as deep as the oceans that ebb and flow upon our shores.

I am strong and durable, as constant as mother Earth whom I dwell upon … drawing strength from her very being which is a part of me.

I will not fail you,

But I will make mistakes,

… go a wrong direction

… go too many directions

… Be inappropriate in my actions.

And for all these I promise to rectify the wrong when possible, face my mistakes and learn so perhaps in the future these mistakes won’t reoccur.

So I ask for your understanding for all that I am not. And I ask for your blessings for all that I am – both the good and the bad.

… for I am as constant as the clouds floating high overhead. As strong and durable, constant and caring as the Mother Earth I dwell upon,

And my love for you is encompassed within

… All that I am!

Worries ~ a bedtime companion? … Not Necessarily So!

So many worries ...

So many worries …

When you wake in the morning are your first thoughts grateful and happy ones or are they the worries that you took to bed with you the night before?

Worries do that you know! Take them with you to bed and they will patiently wait for you in the morning (assuming they let you sleep) to begin anew their assault on your emotions.

Taking your concerns and worries to bed with you is a habit. Yes there is always one or more “somethings” that will need to be dealt with. But going to an emotional place and dwelling on them does not solve anything. Stewing over them in bed is a sleep killer.

~

Change the constant worry habit. Try to put your worries to bed first. Come up with a creative way of laying them aside until the next day. Constant worrying changes nothing, and it competes with your conscious ability to problem solve.

So thought of the day: Before retiring; listen to music, read a bit of a book, do a work-out, take a warm bath, do something pleasant with a partner (like a discussion … ahem!). Just anything that will remove those worrisome thoughts from the forefront.

BREAK THE NIGHT TIME WORRY HABIT! Do try to save those worries for the day! When you are fully rested.

*

Thank you for visiting me today, have a worry free evening and good night’s rest tonight!
