I remember when
it simple used to be
in thinking I was free ♡…

or is it really me,
yes, now at last I see ♡…

one we all must pay,
care for one another

if hate and greed fill hearts,
freedom only works

Dear Humans, What is it you want?

“If there were truly an easy way to get from here … to where each of us want to be in our lives

… we would all go that way.” ~ Plh

There is no easy way. There are however the following rules of the road (which I believe is the stuff of miracles):

  • A belief of self – worth, values & capabilities, coupled with determination & commitment.
  • Knowledge – never stop learning!
  • Wisdom – listen to, learn from & pass on.
  • Hope – a neverending belief in possibilities & potentials
  • Faith – spiritually, emotionally, and/or mentally. A belief that there is more to life than what you think you understand.
  • Charity – Gracefully accepting help (as needs be) but also reaching out an extended hand to others. A basic foundation of unconditional love.
  • Gratitude – Should really come first. Never stop being grateful for what you do have.
  • Love – I’d like to think no explanation is necessary. We all need love.

So what are you searching for?

Freedom?
Fulfillment?
Happiness?
Success?
Wealth?
Pain free?
Longevity?
Appreciated?
Respected?
Needed?
Understood?
LOVE?

All or perhaps most of the above? The only “Way” I can recommend is to learn and follow the above “rules of the road” faithfully, with great self determination. Seek out the wise. Acquire knowledge thru experience and remain open to change. Reach out to others with love in your heart. Believe you can. Have faith in miracles, they do happen!

There is beauty everywhere in life. It is our own personal natures inside of us that detract from this rightness when we focus on what’s wrong with everything instead of concentrating on what’s right and making that even better. Should be simple, but it isn’t ~ definitely something for us to work on however, beginning today.

Share yourself; with love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding. Give of yourself; care, reach out, think of others and their needs.

A World of Friends

While we’re not acquainted – at least not yet,
you’re still my friend, even though we’ve not met.
I value our friendship, and reach out my hand,
even though all are strangers – in quite different lands!

Each day an adventure, as life’s journey we take,
if we travel together, oh the friends we shall make.
We’re a company of strangers, but not for long,
let’s build more relations – this will make us strong.

We do need each other, so we can survive,
weathering the storms, we’ll all stay alive.
Overcome our fears, our worries, concerns,
counting on each other – that’s how we will learn.
*
By needing each other … the seeds we can sow,
through sharing and giving – that’s how we will grow.
I reach out my hand, to you on this day –

Each beat of my own heart reminds me of how wonderful you are. You, my beloved people of Earth give me reason for being. YOU, each of you, individually do this for I know we are ALL part of the whole of humanity, and to do our best we need each other.

Please believe that even though we may not know each other, I care about you. And I hear and love you, wherever you are in this wonderful planet we share together, you are not alone … you are loved. Don’t give up. Be brave. You’re worth it!

Grasshopper Posing!

He sat there posing so nicely, I couldn’t resist. This is a photograph taken last summer. I stepped outside and there he was …ready for his close-up, so I obliged.

And then I was reminded of this scene from a television show. Master ‘Po’ is teaching a student ‘Caine’, in a monastery, a lesson:

Master Po: Close your eyes. What do you hear?
Young Caine: I hear the water, I hear the birds.
Po: Do you hear your own heartbeat?
Caine: No.
Po: Do you hear the grasshopper which is at your feet?
Caine: Old man, how is it that you hear these things?
Po: Young man, how is it that you do not?

I wonder what we miss because we aren’t really listening? Our planet is calling to us. Do you here her?

On this eighth day of happiness let us fully embrace and recall the equal quality of life that all humans, everywhere, have the God given right to expect.

We assist ourselves and others by remembering each of us are strangers at one time or another – the only change that need occur in those times is reaching out with a strong and loving hand of friendship.
