To sum up my little “Sunday Trilogy” of coffee related posts my final offering for this evening!
Just one final cup
One more for life’s long road,
To strength my resolve
help me carrying my load.
A little extra energy
And that will have to do,
I’ll keep giving all I have to give
Out of love for you!

Nature does it … balancing things out, working hard at keeping the ecosystem alive and running efficiently (not that we humans have exactly been helping much there).
Know that for everything that happens there is an opposing reaction to balance things out.
A forest fire produces vibrant new growth shortly after for example.
Balance in our daily lives is important and one of the hardest things for us to get a handle on.
Whether you’re having a good time or a miserable one, balancing things out so you can move on, go forward is essential.
So a few quotes on the whole “Balance” of things in our life!
“The best and safest thing is to keep a balance in your life, acknowledge the great powers around us and in us. If you can do that, and live that way, you are really a wise man” ~ Euripides
“What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter – a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue.” ~ Henri Matisse
“In art and dream may you proceed with abandon. In life may you proceed with balance and stealth” ~ Patti Smith
Have a great week, thanks for stopping by, stay balanced!
In my imagination there is a Cafe. I call it my Coffeehouse of Dreams. The atmosphere of the softly lit room is warm and inviting. You can smell the rich earthy aroma of freshly brewed coffee each time you walk through the door. There is the low hum of people speaking to one another. A quiet rattling of utensils on dishes as people eat morning or evening fare.
The Cafe always has just the right number of customers. A few are known by name, others are strangers. Some are couples. You can tell by the way they lean in towards each other when they speak …
…occasionally holding hands across the table. He reaching across to wipe a strand of hair away from her face as they gazing into each others eyes while sipping their coffee. He takes for granted that he can touch her. She takes for granted that he does so. It is romantic and intimate.
The Cafe is a sensual place, made more so by the smells and sounds and taste of things. An ambience of alluring flavors. The cafe is comfortable but with an edge of mystery to it, where a stranger might come into the coffeehouse at any time.
He might decided to sit down beside me where I usually sit. in one corner of the room, with my coffee and my book. The latest best seller or perhaps a beloved classic being read again for the hundredth time.
He’d approach my table and ask if he could join me. I’d look up from my book and with only a glance I’d decide that it was time for a new adventure in living. Something pleasurable, stimulating – life affirming!
“Yes,” I would respond.
As with the romantic couple I mentioned, the stranger’s eyes would hold mine in an embrace; a look that captures, making the universal connection, not of surrender (not yet). but of the beginnings of the dance of love. First, shy playfulness and masterful responses. My mind has raced ahead to the possibilities I read in his probing searching glance.
After all I am in my Coffeehouse of Dreams!
Thank you for your visit, I hope you enjoyed! Make today fun – both dreams and reality!
Like many of you, I enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
This video gave me a new perspective on a cup of coffee. I hope it will for you also ~ enjoy!
“Enjoy your coffee today, be happy with the cup you are drinking from and enjoy your life!”
thank you for your visit,
Good Morning. In an effort to show true transparency after presenting such tranquil views several weeks ago of the various places in my home where I blog, I’ve determined to show an actual Sunday morning in the household where I live. Recently, I showed some basically nice settings of where I write or blog during different times of the day. Here is reality!
First of all, here I am. I just woke up can you tell? I’m the sleepy one with the big coffee cup in her hand.
My day begins with Franky and Jonny reminding me it’s time to arise. (between 6 and 7 a.m.) Jonny all 28 lbs. of him lays spread out over my tummy.
Franky sits next to me and bats at my cheek (claws retracted).
I stumble upstairs. Perhaps I’m a little more graceful, maybe. (my quarters are in a daylight basement)
I feed Sasha (she’s our teddy bear dog, part sheperd and part chow – 12 yrs old) I pore myself a cup of coffee (preset so it’s ready) and sit down.
This little guy is Dante (a pomerarian, he’s 6 yrs old) who is requesting his breakfast. Pretty much he’s going to bug me until I feed him.
Franky lets me know I didn’t pet him enough when I sit down again
It isn’t long before I hear the sounds of the household stirring.
Soon there is a lot of noisy activity in the kitchen. Everyone pretty much does their own thing here on a early Sunday morning. I’m good with that!
After a variety of interuptions my day actually begins. And this is a summation of an actual Sunday morning, unvarnished and true! Good Morning Everyone,
Now that I’m awake I can go check out my blog activity. Everyone have a wonderful day today.
