When Dreamers Dream

A Dreamer Dreaming!

When Dreamers Dream … which they do (of course) … there is this ethereal sort of frequency (quality of thought) released from the dreamer’s emotions, Emanating outward, coalescing into the most magnificent potentials existing right on the precipice where never ending possibilities lay in wait.

Not beyond our capabilities to create because … after all, we’ve dreamed them into existence.

How very beautiful: Our dreams, those created and crafted potentials, and of course … the dreamers. This being All Of Us! Yay “Us”!

Soooo ….Go Dreamers go. Dream big. Dream strong. dream long. Dream creative but most importantly … dream on!

Thanks for stopping by, I wish a most positive and creative uplifting week to every single dreamer out there. Stay safe, stay well.

With great affection,

~ Penny

Have a little dream ~ or two!

It doesn’t need to be big

a little one will do,

Even one should have a dream

or maybe even two.

So dream a little dream right now

and nourish as you go

Keep it close and you will find

That’s all it needs to grow.

Reaching …

The Reaching Hand

Almost from the moment of birth we are reaching.

… reaching for the stars

… reaching for the moon

… reaching for a better life

… reaching for understanding

… reaching for love.

Along the way we falter, and in the chain of human life – there are those with wisdom, experience and strength of character to be there during those times of uncertainty.

If we but look for them and, if needed, ask for help.

It is a process of growing, learning from mistakes and moving forward.

The empty hand is a sadness. It represents dreams unfulfilled, loneliness, bitterness and defeat.

The empty hand symbolizes to us we have not reached that which we set out to reach … that perhaps we have failed. That the reaching was for naught.

But it does not have to be. You need never stop reaching. Not ever.

There is always hope, there is always possibilities to be explored.

There is always the ‘one more time’ to make the difference, just as long as you keep reaching.

Never stop, never give up. It isn’t easy and sometimes it will be the hardest thing you’ve ever done … but it is worth the extra reach … to make it happen.

Keep reaching, and if you’ve reached your goals

than extend your hand to make that difference for another.

Always reaching, always growing, always loving.

 Never Stop Reaching

Thank you for visiting, have a good weekend, reach out to those in need right now, it’s a good time for this.

A “Follow”- up to Dreams

Following Dreams

This one’s for you Rosy! There are some people who are very special people, they make you feel a little bit better about the day and yourself. You know it when you meet them. You know it when you interact with them online. You just know it. RoSy is one of those! If you aren’t familiar with her blog it is a good one to follow!

As a follow-up to my last post about dreaming I give you a video from an Elvis Presley Movie. “A classic” for Elvis fans of all ages (I’m one too. lol). Chosing this particular video, well I did that for Rosy. May your dreams be golden ones tonight my friend! The movie that this video/song is taken from is called most appropriately “Follow that Dream”.

Elvis sings of love of a person. The dream calling me is for a love of all people and so I follow my dream to make this come true! Perhaps a silly hope,  but for me a true one!

Thank you for visiting me today,

What are you dreaming about tonight?

Do you dream? Do you think about what you dream? Do you remember what you dream? Each of us would answer those questions differently. Based on our life styles and daily activities.

But here are some truths. We are a hugely sleep deprived society. When we finally do get to sleep, it may be a restless sleep and if we do dream it may or may not be something we recall at all. And yet the dreaming is going on. Thinking about your dreams (happy ones of course) may help you to fall asleep easier.

And here’s the really good news. Dreaming is good for you. It has been proven that just before the dream state occurs (REM movement), the bodies immune system gets very busy in its healing process. Yes!

A good way to improve your health and the quality of your sleep is to consciously look forward to dreaming. In dreams your imagination has no limits. Think about every song/poem ever written when it comes to dreaming. They’re pleasant aren’t they? It is the word we use when we are wishing for something.

To me dreams are a creative landscape within our mind but with no boundaries.

Dreaming is a very real part of our life experience, even the part we don’t consciously remember. It seems to me to do a thing you must start to think of the thing desired, so today I ask you – What are you dreaming about tonight?

Dreams – Creative Landscapes in our Mind

Thank you for visiting me, may your dreams be joyous ones

Elusive Dream Lover

So here’s the thing, several of my blogging friends have been speaking about the “muse” of things. So there I was thinking about love as it would be with lovers, or perhaps even an elusive thing and this poem happened, so, hold on, it’s a little bit out of my normal style but it’s all you creative and wonderful bloggers fault. You just inspire me so much!

She came to him in the night

While he slept,

A delicate whisper caressing his skin

He felt her words

“I am yours”

He sighed in his dreams

Drifting within the magic of night.

Her voice softly whispered

“I am yours”

He breathed deeply, her taste intoxicating

He stirred but did not awaken

Her moist breath enveloping his senses

“Take me”

His body flaring forgotten passions

His longing so intense

The music of her sultry and sinuous words

“I am yours”

He slumbered on

 Asleep, impassioned

“I am yours”

He sighed in his dreams

Gently she lay down

By his side

Her body contouring with his

Imagine this…if you will!

“…In my own little corner, in my own little world I am whatever I want to be.”

These are lyrics from a song from one of the earlier musical versions of Cinderella. The song has always moved me because it reminds me of myself. As a little girl and then as an adult.

There are times when being alone can be a cherished piece of time to look inward at yourself and become playful – setting free your imagination, having fun with your dreams.

It seems that today it is far too easy for each of us to get caught up in the endless cascade of daily activities and the chattering of social media. So I post this gentle reminder today.

Give yourself permission to be childlike with your imagination, if not every day then at least once in a while.

Your imagination is the key to your future happiness…cherish it.

And in closing, two quotes from my short list of the world’s greatest heroes:

“Imagination is everything, it is a preview of life’s coming attractions” – Albert Einstein

“Imagination has no age and dreams are forever” – Walt Disney

Have a great day today!
