The Canvas of my Dreams
not limited it seems.
Being free to wander
freer still to squander,

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend,
For most of us, by the time we’re adults we’ve become adept at one thing – an expert even, in many cases. We are creative geniuses when it comes to procrastination or excuses for why we’re not doing something. And it goes even further than that.
When things don’t go the way we think they should, we go a step further and blame others, situations or circumstances for why something isn’t happening for us. We end up being our own worst enemy.
The hardest thing to overcome is the infinite variety of rationales (excuses) we come up with, on any given day, for why we don’t start something or finish it … once begun. Once we recognize that “we” are actually the problem, or at least our resistant attitude, things begin to happen. Make today your first happening day!
Always remember, it’s your choices and your passion that will get you were you want to be!
Have a great day and better tomorrow.
Prompt sentence that accompanies the photograph: “In the compound on the hill, lives a man with a dream.”
In the compound on the hill, lives a man with a dream. An ordinary man, if exceedingly wealthy. His dream is to live forever, and at the age of 95 and in good health, many believe he’s found some clue to immortality.
But he hasn’t. What he has done is take very good care of himself, shoring up the weak parts of body and mind with the aid of very expensive doctors and other professionals. His quandary is his acute awareness of his mortality and the statistical averages regarding the longevity for humans. He knows he’s running out of time for figuring it out and then one day sitting on his private veranda, sick and tired of being alone while gazing at the expansive and expensive land around him, he knew.
It wasn’t so much about living long as it was about living a full life. He donated most of his many millions to worthy charities and causes, and lived a modest but happy rest of his life (which turned out to be a fair amount of time) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (oh no wait that’s this writer’s dream, well anyway I hope it comes true, re: millionaires giving their money and hearts to the needy! Definitely a wishful dream on my part!)
Thanks for stopping by and reading, I hope you enjoyed.

Happy beginning of the week, I hope your week is a great one for you,
As a child my favorite song was from the Walt Disney Movie, Pinocchio. The song is “When You Wish Upon A Star” sung by Jiminy Cricket.
When I first heard the words I just knew wishes could come true.
I still do.
~ Enjoy your weekend and may your dreams all come true.
Well here we are. It is the year 2014. Nothing seems to be larger than interactive internet and the innovative technological inventions that permeate all, totally and completely overwhelming, and we are extremely addicted to same.
So what’s next? I don’t know but I believe it will be exciting and a very good thing. The global internet (as we know and understand it today) has brought people from all parts of the planet closer together. There is the business to business aspect of partnering world-wide (ecommerce), for not only multinational concerns but also the small business entrepreneur, and even greater than this is the private citizen’s amazing ability to communicate almost immediately, anywhere with anyone.
More humans on the planet are understanding that the passion of a thing (fires the hard work that is necessary and) can produce results. And building reality from a dream, happens faster with a team and team spirit. (One only has to look at Silicon Valley to fully be aware of this.) Many, many, more humans are realizing there is potential, and that their dreams can become reality. The internet fosters those dreams and this is a very good thing, I believe.
In conclusion I’d just like to add, there is no doubt or question that we humans are the proud parents of the Internet and while our baby continues to grow, we will continue to learn and grow with it. Why? Our passion for the creative, our need to grow as humans and our desire to be all we can be … come what may!
Congratulations to Jack Ma, his wonderful team and of course Alibaba … May you live long and prosper!

Memory’s rainbow rivulets,
reflecting fallen tears.
Hidden dreams lay dormant
behind the clouded years.
Eyes are keeping secrets
And yet as time goes by,
The colored rainbows answer,
falling from the eye.
Born upon the teardrops
revealing hidden gleams,
witness then, your memories –
in the mirror of your dreams.

Everyone have a wonderful dream filled weekend!
The Successful Road Trip!
Rule 1. Never forget you are your own person. You can do “anything” you decide you can do.
Rule 2. Focus – stay on the main road. Put all your creative energy into your goal and watch out for those sneaky side roads that can detour you from your chosen path.
Rule 3. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you! Yes, the road can be bumpy and filled with potholes. But the road to success is always there … As long as you’re on it.
Rule 4. Ignore naysayers. They are either the ones who didn’t succeed and jealously wish for you to keep from succeeding as well, or those who never tried and don’t believe it can be done.
Rule 5. Create connections with others. Lots of positive connections with others. Support is a most excellent thing, both for you and for you to give to others.
Rule 6. Stay determined and persistent as you focus on your endeavors, but not inconsiderate, rude, arrogant and insensitive.
Rule 7. Be Passionate! This rule is a big one. Be so passionate about that which you are striving for that it creates a positive glow inside and around you … And yes, people will notice this passionate and positive energy and be drawn to it.
Rule 8. Don’t doubt yourself but if you have a phase (or two) where you do, don’t dwell long on those negative feelings, just keep on … keeping on with your eyes on the road.
Rule 9. Never give up your dream … Never! If you can’t quite believe so totally in yourself, Believe in the successful completion of your destination, after all … You are on the road to success!
Rule 10. You are the one in the driver’s seat. You make it happen. You do!
Have a wonderful week ahead with many positive happenings in your life!
Ever noticed from the time we’re old enough to understand words and their meanings ‘others’ have felt the need to point out our limitations. What’s wrong with us. Why we can’t do something.
In fact, we are often reminded so frequently of our supposed shortcomings, we begin to believe it ourselves. So we grow up and when we’re told we can’t do something – why YOU or I can’t make it happen – many of us give up. We STOP believing in our dreams, ideas and goals.
There are no limitations when you believe in magic. When your imagination is free to roam to unknown vistas – it will soar. ‘They’ are mistaken when they tell you what you can’t do, can’t achieve, can’t become.
Believe, really believe, it will happen. The magic awakens within you when you do. And then the most amazing things will begin to happen.
There need be no limitations, most especially the self-imposed limitations where You doubt yourself. When you begin to believe you can do it (make your dreams come true) something wonderfully magical and freeing begins to take shape and the more you believe in you, the greater the magic. There’s an awesome delicious feeling that will catch hold of your spirit and propel you forward.
Try it! Believe in magic (that undefinable wonderful unknown “something” we all possess)! It begins when you start believing in yourself. All things are possible when you do. And then hold on tight to your dream, never let it go. The magic will happen, you’ll see.
And as for myself … well … I’ll be right here saying “I told you so” when your magic happens because not only do I believe in magic but more importantly, I believe in you. The ‘you’ deep inside, the ‘you’ with so much potential just waiting to burst out, and that, my friends is magical! As are we all!
With much affection,
The truck stood waiting. His tricked out, shiny and sleek, big rig, 18 wheeler. The engine had been idling and now was warmed up and ready for him to go on his midnight run to the city and then out into the far lying reaches of numerous small towns, delivering goods that wouldn’t be delivered if it wasn’t for him and his mighty truck …
… In the harsh light of reality’s morning sun, he rolled out of bed. After several cups of coffee and a quick breakfast he was on his way. Not in the 18-wheeler, but in a much more modest truck, picking up trash people left by the curbside each day.
Throughout the early morning hours he filled the back of his truck with the multitude of various unwanted things, finding (as usual) he couldn’t wait to return home so he could rummage through the discarded items. His price for removing the trash.
Amazing that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Inconceivable how many quality items he found and resold, adding to his “dream truck” kitty.
One day … one day he vowed, he’d have enough money to buy the truck of his dreams. To be a real trucker, to pick up and deliver cargo or “goods”. Being on the road – for real. Living the dream.
Until then he’d depend on his trusty little truck to get the job done. He was a trucker after all, even if for now – it was only in spirit.
But one day …

Have a great week ahead, keep working towards your dreams. Dreams do come true.
Funny thing about “Hope”. It is both fragile beyond imagining and yet often has a tenacity and strength seemingly unbelievable.
How can this be?
Perhaps an analogy made with a puffball, to enlighten.
A Wish upon a Puffball – One single seed!
Fingers carefully grasped the fragile puffball’s stem, not wanting to disturb the ethereal seeds too soon. My wish might not be heard, but blown away. The wish made, I blew gently, scattering the fair dandelion seeds upon moist morning breezes.
Wishful thinking indeed for hopes to be realized, yet all that is needed for the puffball is but a single seed. A lone survivor tossed in the unpredictable winds of nature. It only takes one … one seed to reach the earth for regrowth and fruition.
And so it is with hope. A seed of potential and possibility, cast upon the winds of fortune.
May our hopes, dreams and wishes reach fruition. All that is needed is one single seed!
hope strengthens me
a most delicate framework
Have a great day today and even better tomorrow,
