Life isn’t fair – But we can be!
As a child most of us are told to play well with friends, be nice with our sisters or brothers. Be fair with how we treat others. So we grow up and are “nice” to others and try to be fair, but then we begin to discover (some sooner than others) that “life isn’t fair“. Some discover this rather brutally, others find it out in the bits and pieces of life’s experiences that turn out poorly or less than we might have wanted.
Life comes at us, many days fast and hard. Can barely catch our breath trying to keep up with everything that goes on … and emotionally, there are those days we think we can just barely hold on.
So where does it leave us? Life isn’t fair but … (we get to finish the sentence)!
You and I are the ones who still have the power within us to be fair. Beginning with ourselves. We are human beings living in a rich climate of evolving changes and developments. Lots of emotions out there too.
My thought for today. It is a very good thing to have loving and honorable values. Treat others well. Know that there will be better days ahead. Believe in something (it makes a big difference for you and those around you). Love, care, and reach out (and yes this does makes you vulnerable and open to pain, hurt and disappointment – so you’re going to have to toughen up!)
But … bottom line …
“Even though life isn’t fair, you can be – and sometimes that makes all the difference in the world – for you and … someone else!”~ Penny L. Howe, 2013
Are you deserving of love?
The definition of Love
~
Love is not defined by any one particular meaning or expression,
… although there are many.
~
And love is not defined just by the saying of the word either.
No, love is defined when we feel it inside.
Then we know it’s love,
for that feeling is unmistakable
… from anything else!

I have a new “look” to my blog! What do you think?
Wouldn’t it be nice …
~
Wouldn’t it be nice … if the first thing in the morning, you woke to (what to you) would be a wonderful awakening? Whatever you determine that might be! A loving individual giving you a cheerful good morning, someone to joyfully lend a hand to your morning (hectic) activities needing to be accomplished. Something in nature or your life that simply welcomes you in a joyous way to the new day.
And wouldn’t it also be nice if the last thing at night before you closed your eyes and slept, you received those same joyful feelings? Because someone or something occurred that suddenly made your whole day seem worthwhile. And more important; maybe helped you to sleep a little better, not be so stressed out about things and wake in the morning, looking forward to your new day.
Wouldn’t it be nice?
Soooooo. Stop reading (unless you just woke up or are getting ready to go to bed) and then come back and finish this post then!

Although I’m not there
in person.
And cannot reach out and touch you,
sooth your tired spirit
and comfort your weary soul.
Nor can I physically
reach out and hold your hand,
squeezing with affection.
I cannot look deeply into your eyes
and convince you of your worth and value
to this life we share of, on our planet.
However …
… I can and do remind you of
how unique and special you
are to me, and important.
I can send you love across the miles
with a wish of well-being for you on this day.
You are not alone,
you are loved.

And wish for you the best of days today!
All my love!

Let Nature in and worries out!
~
John Muir (1838 – 1914) John of the Mountains: The Unpublished Journals of John Muir, 1938 – is a famous naturalist and author. During his life he became a well know advocate for the preservation of wilderness. His views on nature and his written words can serve as a remind to us of how freeing and uplifting being with nature can be. Today I share some of his words with you.
Written one hundred years ago,
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into the trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves – John Muir
“I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found was really going in. – John Muir
“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” John Muir

Love is for embracing Life!
Live and share your love!
There are no set requirements for loving another. Just simply love and share yourself! Young, old, big or little, distant or close, love connects all of us to each other … If we let it!

thank you,
The Reasons to be Brave …
Life can be so darn hard! Some days are … well … just about impossible to get through aren’t they?
Really, really tough ones, when you don’t think you can make it.
This is when we need to remember why.
The Why About This is what I do best after all.
So let me remind you the reasons to be brave. Just a few, but I think they cover most things!

And one more thing, if you’re really having trouble … then reach out …
…You are never alone. We are in this life together. It is a truth.
Open your heart and your mind. Let love come in and you will see all of us who care. We are here waiting.
There will be a helping hand if you need it. There are hundreds of millions of us out there, waiting to be there for you! Believe, love, let go of fear and hate and reach out!
