In Pursuit of Elusive Motivation

If you are attempting to increase your motivation for accomplishing a thing but feel stymied on how to make this happen, then consider the following:

A passionate determination is the true starting point for enabling the release of one’s emotional persistence. Persistence, in turn, opens the (often too tightly closed) gateway into core inner strengths (energy).

We become stronger and more capable (in effect more motivated) for dispelling personal fears –  facing down and overcoming obstacles that frequently occur during our pursuit of goals. The message here is very clear – be passionate. Be passionate with your creative endeavors. Be passionate with your beliefs and most importantly, your belief of self.

You can do this! Yes. You. Can.

Be a Greater Person thru Creative Inspiration!

you

When we find ourselves inspired by some great and wonderful purpose, each of our individual mindsets break their bonds. In that moment we transcend preconceptions of limitations even as our consciousness expands in every direction.

Suddenly the whole universe is available to us (as it always was). Dormant talents, thought processes and forces become online within each of us, stirring our hearts and creative souls; turns out we’re not hardwired into a certain way of being … we just thought we were, setting up restrictive limitations in the process.

But with this new and freeing awareness, we discover ourselves to be a greater person, one we never thought even remotely possible. All because our dreams fired our passions … our passions fired our inspiration … and our inspiration opened up the never ending creative capability within ourselves.

In this coming new year, be that greater person.

Fulfill your dreams.

You can, you know. If you believe you can!!!!!!

Have a most Happy New Year in 2016. I wish you all the very best creative energy possible.

With much affection,

The 5 “D’s” for Making things Happen – Yes you can!

image

“Have you ever noticed that facing the future is much easier when you’re already moving forward from your own momentum?”~ Plh

So where’s your energy level? Nothing like a nice big dose of motivation to get your creative juices flowing. What? No motivation?

Well, you see, that’s the thing. As difficult as it can be at times, the best motivation to rely on is often your own. You’re in charge of getting it going. Not that having support from others isn’t a grand thing, but sometimes it just isn’t there when you need it.

And perhaps you’re thinking “well that’s just great. I am so not into feeling inspired right now!”

Okay, here’s a fewinsider tips” on how to rev up your motivational quota:

1. Discipline & Determination = Drive!
2. Once you’ve got the 3 “D’s” down, the rest becomes easier, because you’ve learned it isn’t going to happen without significant daily action on your part.

3. Dreams -The fourth D is important but only a starting point. You also need a plan and follow thru.

Understanding and appreciating the rewards you will receive for your hard work and due Diligence (5th ‘D’) goes a long way towards staying motivated. Just keep your eyes on the goal (your reward) and keep on keeping on.

You can do it!

Thanks for your visit, have a great week ahead.

Today’s the Day to Begin: Your passion, your dreams, your goals – YOU!

abwishes

For most of us, by the time we’re adults we’ve become adept at one thing – an expert even, in many cases. We are creative geniuses when it comes to procrastination or excuses for why we’re not doing something. And it goes even further than that.

When things don’t go the way we think they should, we go a step further and blame others, situations or circumstances for why something isn’t happening for us. We end up being our own worst enemy.

The hardest thing to overcome is the infinite variety of rationales (excuses) we come up with, on any given day, for why we don’t start something or finish it … once begun. Once we recognize that  “we” are actually the problem, or at least our resistant attitude, things begin to happen. Make today your first happening day!

Always remember, it’s your choices and your passion that will get you were you want to be!

Have a great day and better tomorrow.

With affection,

Keeping Promises – Very Important!

But what about those little promises you made to you?

Boutanier

As the year draws to a close, it is often a time for reflection, thinking about what’s been accomplished … and what hasn’t. For many of us we’ve been busy on behalf of others; our family, our friends, our work, our community and so on.

What about the promises we made to ourselves? With the new year – 2015 just around the corner, perhaps you can rethink things. Set out with a positive attitude where you make a little more time for you and your personal goals.

And remember – it’s often true that when one takes time for his or herself, they become renewed with more positive energy to be shared in turn, with others.

A most wonderful and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you, my friends. Those I know and those I’ve yet to meet.

With much affection,

Penny

Finding Balance in your life

balance

In each of our lives balance can be difficult to achieve, something which nature seems to accomplish quite easily; but then she’s had many millennium to practice. We’re just beginners when it comes to managing our life in an orderly manner. But there are a few (proven) things that might help.

Achieving balance in you life is more easily accomplished by taking the time to do a little critical thinking.  Determine what (in your life) you need to do, and where you need to be, in order to feel fulfilled and happy. And then do exactly that. Follow through with action on the instincts felt by your heart. They’re usually the sound ones. And science now has proven that the brain listens to heart more than the other way around!

Your sense of balance will come when you’ve realized your heart’s goals! Yes it will. After necessary financial needs are met, spend a portion of each day with life around you. Open up your senses.

Experience anew people, animals, plants, all things living. You will be pleased and surprised at the difference you will feel. In fact you will find yourself desiring to make a positive difference for others as a natural progression of your lifestyle and you will find it to be extremely heart gratifying.

Remember, all life is connected, so our balance and happiness can spread to others. It has been proven that the more we act on loving instincts, the happier and more fulfilled we find not only ourselves, but also those around us.

Give this some thought, have a great day today and a better one tomorrow,

Rules of Your road … to SUCCESS!

By pippalou

The Successful Road Trip!

Rule 1. Never forget you are your own person. You can do “anything” you decide you can do.

Rule 2. Focus – stay on the main road. Put all your creative energy into your goal and watch out for those sneaky side roads that can detour you from your chosen path.

Rule 3. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you! Yes, the road can be bumpy and filled with potholes. But the road to success is always there … As long as you’re on it.

Rule 4. Ignore naysayers. They are either the ones who didn’t succeed and jealously wish for you to keep from succeeding as well, or those who never tried and don’t believe it can be done.

Rule 5. Create connections with others. Lots of positive connections with others. Support is a most excellent thing, both for you and for you to give to others.

Rule 6. Stay determined and persistent as you focus on your endeavors, but not inconsiderate, rude, arrogant and insensitive.

Rule 7. Be Passionate! This rule is a big one. Be so passionate about that which you are striving for that it creates a positive glow inside and around you … And yes, people will notice this passionate and positive energy and be drawn to it.

Rule 8. Don’t doubt yourself but if you have a phase (or two) where you do, don’t dwell long on those negative feelings, just keep on … keeping on with your eyes on the road.

Rule 9. Never give up your dream … Never! If you can’t quite believe so totally in yourself, Believe in the successful completion of your destination, after all … You are on the road to success!

Rule 10. You are the one in the driver’s seat. You make it happen. You do!

Leave No Doubt – Women and Men are more alike than you think!

Credit line: © Mauricio Jordan De Souza Coelho | Dreamstime.com

In my last post, clearly it was one that women relate to quicker than men. Not because of the “girly” heart shaped illustration (although that’s a part of it) but because the message was written gently about the importance of unconditional love. For most women it’s how we view things.

Men love and bond just as deeply and passionately as women but their perspective on how they view a thing (as with women) has much to do with their own natures (let’s be honest here, a lot of it is physical), the environment they grow up in and of course their subsequent experiences.

But underneath all of these obvious differences there is a “sameness“! One that gets overlooked – a lot! I mention in yesterday’s blog post that with unconditional love you should “Leave No Doubt”. Too many women can forget they have the same capability as men with their own “strength (of character)” within their hearts . A strong ability to make their point and leave no doubt.

I am showing the  following video clip from a movie to remind EVERY SINGLE WOMAN ON THE PLANET that we are as strong and capable (equal to) as any human when we set out to accomplish something, be it loving and nurturing, pursuing our own goals or freedoms, we DO have the strength (of character) – built right inside of us, just waiting for us to call on it.

No, not the physical strength (presented here in the video) but the other strength that is also shown here. The one of character and will perseverance and determination! We all (humans) have that in abundance (just waiting to be tapped into). For women, it is past due time for us to cash in on this!

While the video is aimed at and about a male sport – the lesson to learn here is for both men and women – in life’s pursuit, and don’t forget it!

Leave No Doubt!

Are You Thinking Asleep?

file0001894094118

When you think, are your thoughts busily reviewing the list of “to do’s” that aren’t done yet? Are you dwelling on things that have already happened or are happening around you now? Are you thinking “awake” or thinking “asleep”?

Our thoughts, become words, (whether stated or written) becoming actions. And more and and more of us today are thinking asleep with our actions. We go through life’s daily chores in an almost robotic type of modality where even our emotions are repetitious in nature.

We are thinking asleep. We are mostly in a response mode. We are stuck in a groove. Yes, most especially the “I have too many things to do, so I’m not sure what to do next” groove. The other popular groove that many are caught up in today is the “poor me, I have too many problems to deal with and other people don’t care” or “I’m in a strictly reactionary mode as it refers to me personally, everything else I relate to is at a distance, from a position of security.” Voicing concerns but staying uninvolved at a personal level, because that’s what’s Safe.

Well guess what? Wake up! Life is happening all around you.

When you think awake, you think a thing and then YOU ACT ON IT! Put it into affect. You stop spending time on what’s wrong with yourself and focus on what’s right. The world’s problems begin with you!

No more thinking on what your missing in life (with a myriad of excuses you give to yourself and others each day) because (here’s the biggy)

… YOU DETERMINE WHAT DIRECTION YOU’RE GOING TO HEAD IN. HOW YOU’RE GOING TO FEEL ABOUT THE DAY AND WHAT YOU CAN MAKE OF YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS. THAT’S YOU. IT IS PERSONAL BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ONE STANDING GUARD OVER YOUR LIFE, AND IF YOU AREN’T, WHY NOT?

You belong to you before anything else. You came into the world and breathed in life as a single entity and you’ll depart the same way. This is a simple truth. No one’s going to crawl in the coffin with you, but I guarantee you there are many out there more than happy to help you dig your own grave, but only if …  YOU LET THEM.

The Sleeper must awaken! (always wanted to use that line)

Start by thinking awake. Look directly at what you’ve decided you haven’t been doing AND START DOING IT!

No, life isn’t safe, it’s filled with risks (going after most worthy things have risk involved.) No,  life won’t suddenly become wonderful, but it will begin to head in the direction you want it to.

Life happens whether you involve yourself in it or not. You decide how much control events will have over you. YOU DO!

When you start thinking awake a whole new world of possibilities awaken. You become energized with renewed feelings of hope and anticipation.

And you’ll be living your life to it’s fullest, not regretting in bitterness or sorrow what you didn’t do, when you could have, because you were thinking asleep !
