“We are all children (regardless of chronological age) of life. Our dreams, thoughts and actions the seeds of humanity’s present and future.

Correspondingly, we grow strong, healthy and happy from gratitude, forgiveness, and caring.

The richest soil in our daily environment is always, LOVE! Plant well.” ~ Plh

Your Bounty in Life – Planting the seeds for happiness and success!

Planting Seeds for Happiness and Success

“To be content in the moment, to live fully without disdain or expectations beyond those of peaceful harmony and loving gratitude. To appreciate what you’ve been given and share with those who lack, and are needful of comfort and care – your bounty in life grows exponentially with your reverence, respect and love of same.”

One more time – International Woman’s Day!

I wrote a post yesterday about celebrating this day, but decided to visit the importance of Women’s Issues one more time – with a song! Helen Reddy wrote and sang a song called “I am Woman” several generations ago that continues to be the song many women world-wide look to for inspiration. And I agree. We still do “…have a long way to go – but look how far we’ve come” (lyrics from her song)!

Just know that each and every woman on this planet is important. We continue to make a positive difference with each passing day! Why? Because we can!

Thank you and thank you Helen!

International Women’s Day – March 8th, 2014

By pedrojperez2

Depending on where you live in the world¬†it is already International Women’s Day. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this celebration, allow me to share some information about this day.

While there have been various Women’s Day Celebrations in different parts of the world historically, it was in 1977 that the U.N. (United Nations) invited members to proclaim March 8th as the U.N. day for Women’s Rights and World Peace. Many countries now actively celebrate this day.

For both men and women this is an important day to note. We humans, of this planet Earth, cannot move forward without all of us working towards a goal of harmony, peace and growth for ourselves and  our planet.

International Women’s Day is about encouraging the freedom and rights all women are entitled to and deserve.

Some excellent resources to find out more.

It is through continuing support and education that many of the freedoms now occurring for women on our planet, in many countries, will continue to thrive for everyone’s future. It is through a sense of purpose, drive and determination that these most excellent goals can be achieved.

Never ever forget – We’re worth the extra effort needed so that all women can be free to be all that we can be!

Thank You,

We the People, of the United States of America …

… are surely one of the most diverse group of people on this planet. As a result we are also highly innovative and creative due to the rich blending of ideologies, cultural heritages, ancestry, history, language, and so on.

Democracy Isn’t Easy, but it’s worth the Fight!

Of course, this diversity does come with it’s own set of parameters (and problems) regarding our perception of how we view things. Such as the governing of our mighty country and our people (all of us).

The tenets of our country (Declaration of Independence) proclaim loud and clear the very substance of our land that moves our democracy forward¬†(‘lo these many years of alternating strife and prosperity) ¬†is the proclaiming and achieving of individual freedoms.

It hasn’t stopped or diminished. Just changed. We have freedom of speech in this country. This means we are a people accustomed to sharing our ¬†opinions, of airing our grievances – ¬†we aren’t afraid to say them. This in turn, generates (on any given time period) outrage, anger, distention and conversely hope, potential and ultimately, through discourse, resolution.

It is quite the amazing thing, if you think about it. The freedom to express our thoughts on any subject reins supreme. Chaotic, highly uncomfortable, and rife for potentially strong emotions to give rein.

There is never a smoothness to democracy. Being “fair” for everyone just doesn’t happen. But it’s a never ending goal with many balances and counter balances as we work our way to greater understanding and acceptance of changes in our lives.

Fundamentally what drives, (moves) us and our country forward is this exchange of opinions, ideas, concerns and desires. This is what makes our country the greatest on the planet. A heritage that all Americans share in.

And that means we are going to get it wrong, sometimes a lot, but we don’t stop working on getting it right.

Because we all have a “voice” democracy stays permutable, that is to say, a constant work in progress. No easy or permanent “fixing” of the whole.

Democracy isn’t easy. You better want it bad and you better be prepared to weather the storms of differing opinions that may not be your own. Just remember, It’s these differences that lead to change and further growth.

Right now we Americans and the entire planet are watching our democracy in action, perhaps at it’s worse but perhaps also at it’s best. As for us, we the people … be concerned – it’s important. Voice your opinion – it’s important, be engaged – it’s important, but never, ever stop being proud of being an American, of your Country, your home, your people. It’s yours and mine.

Thank you,

I Can Fly and Touch The Sky!

I Will Fly … High!

We (all of us) are the compilation of our journey through life Рour struggles, our sorrows, our joys and successes.

Birds fly. They, with¬†glorious feathered wings, descend into the heavens¬†to soar¬†high above the sky –¬†ennobled¬†through their freedom of flying.

We humans are earthbound it seems, forever to have our feet on the earth of the ground.

But is this a truth? Are we? After all we are creatures of our own making. Do we not control our destinies, chose the direction we would follow?

Perhaps … if we so desire … we can set free our imaginations, our dreams and we too can fly.

Fly today my friends, fly high…touch the sky!

To Touch the Sky

I would fly

if I could,

I might close my eyes,

spreading arms open wide

and rise up

touch the sky.

And now that I think on it

perhaps

a simply thing – this flying.

Today, I believe,

I will fly.

 Have a great day!

We are Earth’s Children … shall we grow up now?

~

Please read!

All of us, every single person, is born with amazing potential for growth!

Each of our lives – so very precious,

and necessary!

How can we know the significant difference any one person

when given love, opportunity and education

might make in the tomorrow of our days,

when we, like children, base many of our (adult) decisions

on our personal emotions and preconceptions;

and not on intelligent reasoning?

Poor “life changing” decisions are made:

… in the name of ¬†intolerance,

… in the name of indifference,

… in the name¬†of power,

… in the name of religion,

… in the name of greed,

… in the name of hate!

It defies intelligence and logic to not preserve

the most valuable resource we possess.

The human race (in it’s entirety)!

The most

valuable commodity there is

“Every single one of us!”

Together

there is nothing we can’t accomplish

If we work as one!

We are Earth’s children! But are we still growing?

Faith can shape us, filling our souls with untold riches …

… unless fashioned into a weapon to be

used against others.

Our global citizenship can become a harvest of abundance …

… unless we stratify and divide within ourselves deciding we are superior¬†based on ¬†the false premise of entitlement.

Our capacity for loving (and forgiving) can expand our futures!

Our capacity for hatred and fear can destroy it!

Shall we grow up now?

If I may suggest …

… take some time today to review the “Extremes” from your life experiences.

Think about those “somethings” those extreme’s in life, that have happened to you that you’ve tucked away inside and then left them there. Things you didn’t want to deal with or face, at various times in your past.

We carry these around with us, unexamined and only occasionally do we think to look at them … take them out in the bright light of day, dust off the cobwebs, and sometimes realize that we can finally put them down, let them go. They can’t hurt us anymore. Because our perspective on what happened has changed.

Perhaps it’s time for you!

Maybe today is a good day to put some of your extremes into perspective and …

move on!

The Beauty of Nature and Letting Go

There’s a whole big world out there, just waiting for you to come and explore, waiting, because

“Sometimes a change in perspective
makes all the difference in the world
– in your world!”

The Chrysalis of Change – yours!

~

“We view the delicately beautiful butterfly
… in the moment
forgetting, all too easily, the changes of growth
it went through¬†to create it’s ultimate beauty.”

~

~

“To truly see our world for all its potential

we must cease our inclination to judge.

~ Both ourselves and others.

Only then will we emerge like the butterfly from it’s final cocoon!

Open and aware to all the beautiful and rich possibilities of our tomorrows

…¬†discovering to our surprise

they are available to us¬†… today!”

Part II – Hidden from view

Taking a second look!

~

When you’re raised to believe a thing it can become so deeply embedded that you can go through life convinced that what you’ve been told is true. Even when its negative, and makes you feel like you file00093066100are less than you should be.

Even when you grow up and question it, you can still be convinced that you are not worthy. That bad things should happen to you. That you deserve them.

Stop just a minute, and consider this. When we are born. We all enter this life and take our first breath as a human being. Every single one of us. A truth!¬†No difference, no one greater than … no one lesser than.

If you are born with physical or mental disabilities these must be addressed, but you are still not lesser than or greater (as a living being) than any other person on the planet. A truth!

It is through environmental and human conditioning (by others) while you’re a child, (and for many, this can continue on through life) that determine how you feel about yourself. And here’s another big truth for you.

THERE IS NOTHING YOU NEED TO CHANGE ABOUT THE “YOU” THAT YOU ARE INSIDE! Don’t feel bad DSC047800because you’re not what other’s think you should be. Your “you” and that’s enough. You should feel good about that person, not what anyone, or any organization, or any belief system has decided you should be, that isn’t who you are.

If you want to do something for yourself to improve a skill, a talent, your education, your appearance, Do these things because you want to do them, not because you believe you “have to” to be okay as a human being! Self improvement is a wonderful thing, But you’re in charge of that too.

Each person on the planet is unique onto his or herself. They are made that way. It doesn’t matter their shape, size, color, gender, background, beliefs, cultural differences. They are all human beings – equal in that sense!

Now it’s time for that second look.

Do you realize how capable you really are?¬†You start by believing the truth and you do that by believing in yourself. Your uniqueness. Your self-worth. No one has the right to take that from you. It belongs to you. And only you. The next step, well that’s up to you! It won’t be easy, but I believe you can do it. You’re you after all!
