Our Real Enemy

You're safe with me. Find these people. They are out there. Stop filling your heart space with that which "isn't" so there is room for that which "is" to enter. Know that you are deserving of this NOW. Release old belief systems telling you otherwise again and again.. Until what you want shows up. And it will.. as soon as you refuse to settle for less than you deserve. Empty, Adjust and Heal, Fill ❤tami:

FEAR

So obvious when one really considers. After all, fear is the true opposite of love, not hate. Hate doesn’t happen unless fear is already there first, inside one’s mind.

Fear manifests in many forms: Fear of the unknown, fear of the different, fear of the future, fear of the past, fear of bullies, fear of being thought different from, fear of …. the list is endless and once fear exists, it is all too easy for an entire host of negative emotions to become fear’s companions and they do.

Recognize this:  A sense of feeling less than, or do you recognize perhaps these fellow companions of fear; separating yourself from some by going with the crowd to be accepted (even if you disagree with what the crowd is saying or doing) or prejudice, disdain, scorn, hate, becoming superior to overcome insecurity, being dismissive and probably the worse one of all – indifference. You know, that comfortable place where you dwell because it’s safe (or so you believe).

If you are alive there truly is no such thing as safe. There are however amazing opportunities to thrive in an unsafe world made so by the “fear factor”. Believing in yourself is one. Caring for others is another. There is a tangible strength in a community of caring & sharing, loving people. Power brokers use fear as a weapon, often used to separate people – one from the other – and they do it well. They always have … because it works. History records this fact for those who would see.

In our world of today Fear is alive and well and running rampant around the planet and power brokers are still utilizing this weapon skillfully and to an advantage.

Is there anything one can do to change this? This is a question we each must answer for ourselves. Will we be ruled and influenced by fear? Or step out of the fear induced society of today and become our own person, guided by the richness of love that can become disused and lay dormant in the hearts of mankind.

I say once again that in a community of caring, sharing and loving people, whether the community be your immediate neighborhood or one spanning a country or even our entire planet there is no fear that cannot be conquered where love is the ruling state of (well) being.

That’s Just Not How Life Works – However …

hidden

*

I had to think a bit about the title for this blog because, as we know, life is an interesting mix of reality and – well something other, that we haven’t figured out yet – that which exists deep inside of us or outside our realm of understanding but that we still know has a connection to who we are … sort of. The perception of otherness being perhaps our spirit or our soul, or an individual sense of being, a universal consciousness.

Of course, subjectively speaking I haven’t precisely figured out how life does work. However, theoretically I have it down to a science. That is to say the science of our lives in this particular moment.

Cycles. An ongoing repetitious pattern of cycles playing out again and again with creative emotions thrown in the mix to ramp up, add color to the repetition. No seriously, think about it: I can pull passages from currently known written history of famous people who say and think the same exact things we are saying and thinking right now. Only the atmosphere, environment and players have changed … to a degree.

And if all the above words seem as confusing to you as the writing of them was for me then we are on the same page.

Life repeats itself, quite brilliantly so, and where you or I are in “the now of things” is just a microcosm of life carrying on it’s processes.  There still exists the basics in human nature. Hasn’t really changed much. Survival, peace, war, love, hate, possessions, worth, value, and so on still played out within a specific set of limitations. Self or group induced and accepted. As a result of genetic indicators or environmental factors, we keep going through similar patterns of being.

However …

when we determine to step out and away from the fray, the known paradigm of cycles and patterns, then and only then do we (your and/or I) grow beyond the known. Beyond that which represents those imposing boundaries in which we dwell.

Individualism, that’s the ticket, believe it or not. Your self realization comes first, your self worth comes second, open consciousness comes third and wherever you want to go comes forth (nope didn’t misspell that word)! Your ability to achieve whatever your goal might be greatly increases by following the above criteria. Absolutely. The variety and depth of personal life experiences shape every aspect of your current life and the life beyond. Period!

That’s it. I’m done for today, make of my words what you will. They are my truth as I believe it to be. Except for love. Always include lots and lots of love to pave your way.

Thanks for reading, have a great weekend to come,

I Remember When

Every now and then
I remember when
it simple used to be
in thinking I was free ♡…

image

…life it all has changed
and has rearranged,
or is it really me,
yes, now at last I see ♡…

image

… freedom has a price
one we all must pay,
care for one another
every single day ♡…

image

… we can not survive
if hate and greed fill hearts,
freedom only works
if we’re not torn in parts ♡… ~ Plh

FEAR and Freedom – a matter of believing in oneself.

Embedded image permalink

Taking a fearful leap in life is scary, just remember on the other side of fear you’ll find freedom!

Everyone has fears. It is the survival emotion that keeps us alive, so there is no way to be completely without any fear of any kind. But that’s not to say that you should let fear control your life. Fear is a warning to be heeded and or handled as the case may be.

Fear is a very strong emotion. Right up there with Love and Hate is Fear. All of us could make a list of the things we fear (if we were being honest).

How does one control fear? First you recognize it as an emotion. Second you consider the source. Third you place the fear in the right perspective and finally you believe in your ability to deal with the fear you’re experiencing. Ideally in that order. You can even give your fear a priority level. Ask yourself why this particular fear is so large and what you can do to diminish it’s hold on you.

Don’t forget you are as in control of your emotions as you decide to be. It takes practice, of course but very doable. You’re up for it. Tackle a few small fears first.

And remember on the other side of those fears you’ve conquered is a stronger and more independent you!

Hope you are having a good week.

with affection,

Where There Be Shadows … Let Me Find Sunshine!

Never Stop Believing

Where there be shadows … let me find sunshine.

Where there be sadness … let me share joy.

Where there be greed … let me bring charity.

Where there be disdain … let me show goodwill.

Where there be war … let me offer peace.

Where there be hate … let me give love.

We will survive. Embedded in each of our hearts is a goodness that will win out, in spite of the many misguided and negative approaches to our current lifestyles and mindset.

It is this knowledge that keeps my faith for all life, alive and thriving. Even on the darker days I know there will be light.

Peace and love to all of you – my friends I know, and my friends I’ve yet to meet!

Born of the Planet Earth – We are Not Each Other’s Enemy!

We are all brothers and sisters. We are all human, born on Earth. The entire planet is our home yet we erect invisible borders, walls, and other means to separate us from each other based on beliefs and ideals.

No matter how hard we try to segment ourselves whether by government dictates, corporate mindsets, religious or ethnic perceived values, or any other differences, it doesn’t change the obvious fact that all of us, without exception, dwell on this one planet.

Each of us wishes to be individual, our own person. just as each of us desires to belong to groups who think and act as we do, yet beyond this lies a greater truth. Anytime we isolate ourselves or others by these seeming differences, we also diminish the potential for the healthy growth of life (including our individual selves) on our planet.

Each time we retreat, limit those we accept, consider and perform actions of hate, cruelty and greed we further diminish the life flow that energizes all life on this planet.

Each time we reach out to other groups, recognizing that these differences represent an awesome wealth of diversity that truly enriches our potential, then we are moving in the right direction.

The truest gifts humans were given were their intelligence and ability to love. Powerful acts can be achieved when the common goal is inclusive of all. There is no greater power than that of love. But just as there can be great love there can also be great hate. It is up to each of us to do our part to insure the well-being of ourselves and our planet secured through the power of peace – not death, destruction and killing.

It is wrong to solve a problem by the death of others. Perhaps the easy way seems to be through “violence” or killing.  Savages certainly believe this to be true. And killing is savage, a wild way of denying humanity’s ability to grow and prosper. The hard but responsible way to solve a social and civil problem is through the sincere effort of coming together through peaceful resolution – no matter how difficult!

It is past time to just stand by and “discuss” our problems, pointing out who is “right” and who is “wrong”. It is time for “the many” on the sidelines to understand that all of us share in the responsibility, and need to act in a manner than engenders a safe and healthy future.

Which direction are you moving in? With all my heart I hope it’s the one the extends a helping hand to those in need, that cherishes the wealth all humanity offers, and treasures the priceless worth and value of the planet Earth. Let us all begin to protect – through love and positive action – our true home, Earth!

Thank you,
