weeping silent angel
Sleep, Silent angel, dry all your tears.
Rest, be at peace with so many fears.
Please don’t cry for our sorrows,
And our maybe tomorrows
… if we don’t get it right,
With our planet so in plight.
Sleep silent angel, do not cry for our grief
Spoiled sea, air and land,
fouled by a thief – yet in truth by our hand.
Do not cry for the loss and neglect and abuse,
Even as we do remain so obtuse.
Sleep silent angel, I beg don’t despair
We still are your people and though careless – do care.
Rest up your wings for tomorrow may bring
A renewal of hope with perchance a rebirth,
of loving and giving
on our home – Planet Earth!

“Life is a learning experience testing our mettle with each passing day, presenting a surety of unknowns that try our patience. Yet these self same experiences offer obscure but true opportunities (clues) for enhancing our very being, propelling us forward with awakening humility – a catalyst towards an understanding of who and why we are.” ~Plh, 2016
Thank you. Wishing you a most pleasant and restful weekend, one filled with hope and love.
With much affection,
The two greatest emotions we humans experience are love and fear. Offshoots of love being happiness, hope, caring, sharing, giving, gratitude, (and other positive uplifting emotions).
Offshoots of fear are equally obvious: Hate, disdain, greed, avarice, cruelty as well as a couple of additional negatives (stemming from fear) that occur within all of us – worry and guilt.
When you are feeling fear (in any form) for any reason and it’s dominating your emotions and thoughts there is a physical routine you can train yourself to do to help diminish and in some cases remove an overwhelming fear that may be controlling your actions.
To refocus your focus:
- Take in a deep breath
- Feel yourself breathe in slowly
- Now feel yourself breathe out slowly
- Once you’re controlling your breathing, breathe from your stomach, low. Breathe the breaths deep from within.
- Keep the focus on feeling your breath, don’t let any other thoughts intrude.
Initially it may not be easy, but with practice it becomes so. The tension in your body will begin to melt away as you breathe in positive energy and breathe out the negative energy of fear.
Deep measured breathing also helps clear your mind of clutter – focus is then where it needs to be. You’ll be making better decisions as well as viewing things from a more positive perspective.
I hope your weekend is going well for you and continues to do so.
With much affection,
Humanity says: “Share with me just the smallest whisper of hope so my thoughts and emotions will hear you (despite the ever increasing global cacophony of change bombarding me day and night with intolerance, prejudice, inhumanity and indifference) and I promise you it shall be heard as the roar of a lion within my heart sick troubled soul and I shall take solace and share your whispers of hope with all who will listen.”
Life whispers: “You are ALL my children and you are loved.”
“When my heart gets weary and I cannot seem to breath,
life whispers hope. ~ Plh, 2016
Deep within your heart is the determination and ability needed to carry on, in spite of fatigue, weariness and the feeling of being completely overwhelmed with life – your life, in particular.
Look inward. It’s there. Feel the rhythm and pulse of hope’s existence. Sometimes almost imperceptible. Sometimes so subtle, so slight but always there, a greater belief that things will be okay as it has been in the past and can be again.
Notice and accept the hope within you. It is succor, aiding in the taking care of oneself. Hope will strengthen your resolve and assist until once again you recognize those unspoken promises that accompany your life.
An Interlude of Quietude
Be calm, please be still
do quiet your mind,
dismiss troubled thoughts
of a worrying kind.
Nourish the peace
to be found deep within,
soothing life’s passages
of times we live in.
Quiet your mind
dear friends of mine,
know there’s tomorrow
when all can be fine.
With calm assurance
know you’re not alone,
with courage and belief
… a way will be shown.

One would like to believe in our fellow man
One would like to believe in the good
One would like to believe all will end well
One would like to believe that it should.
One would like to believe in tomorrow
and not worry so much just because
One is hopeful and prayful and grateful
One would like to believe and … ONE DOES!

Have a wonderful life and always remember ~ take care of you!
With much affection,
“If there were truly an easy way to get from here … to where each of us want to be in our lives
… we would all go that way.” ~ Plh
There is no easy way. There are however the following rules of the road (which I believe is the stuff of miracles):
- A belief of self – worth, values & capabilities, coupled with determination & commitment.
- Knowledge – never stop learning!
- Wisdom – listen to, learn from & pass on.
- Hope – a neverending belief in possibilities & potentials
- Faith – spiritually, emotionally, and/or mentally. A belief that there is more to life than what you think you understand.
- Charity – Gracefully accepting help (as needs be) but also reaching out an extended hand to others. A basic foundation of unconditional love.
- Gratitude – Should really come first. Never stop being grateful for what you do have.
- Love – I’d like to think no explanation is necessary. We all need love.
So what are you searching for?
All or perhaps most of the above? The only “Way” I can recommend is to learn and follow the above “rules of the road” faithfully, with great self determination. Seek out the wise. Acquire knowledge thru experience and remain open to change. Reach out to others with love in your heart. Believe you can. Have faith in miracles, they do happen!
I wish you well on your journey. Take care of you.
