Being brave is sometimes amazingly difficult, but nonetheless always becoming! With your bravery there exists the strong potential that you are …

… becoming stronger as an individual with individual freedoms.

… becoming less fearful when there are new obstacles to overcome.

… becoming a better person with higher ideals and greater respect for honest, caring and loving standards of behavior (where you do no harm) as you expand your vision of the world with less personal conflicted thoughts and emotions.

… becoming the best you that you can be within the uniqueness of who and how you are and yet also knowing you’re a part of and representative of life on the planet Earth that you share with all other life.

… becoming aware and acknowledging that it’s okay and actually an excellent thing to believe in yourself.

Welcome 2018, A Look Ahead For We “Creatives”

Winter by Plh

Welcome to a new year. Currently it’s winter on my part of the planet, but for many of us it has felt like we’ve been living an entire year of winter within our creative hearts. Last year we were extremely reactive in terms of relating to negative social/news media and our overall creative input/output.

This year will bring positive changes with much greater ‘action’ as opposed to ‘reaction’,  thus the nature of our ‘human cycle of changes’ or the flux occurring as a result of cause and effect continues. Many of us are exhausted from reacting to a turbulent previous year, pacing ourselves to ‘hang in there’ in those final months.

This will be a year refocusing on our future actions, ideally coming from a higher moral fiber, and most definitely coming from within our beautiful, creative thoughts and ideas.

From a macro perspective, the powerful will seek more power; the rich will seek to become richer; the poor (encompassing the majority of human life on our beautiful planet Earth – Why Is That?) will seek survival from the overreaching powerful and wealthy; and we creatives (which are found in each sector of human existence) will continue to create. Some to become more powerful, some to become rich or richer, some to make a positive difference to humanity and some because when all is said and done, regardless of the reason, we just can’t help ourselves with the need to create.

The human cycle of life is still at play in spite of our, seemingly, natural inclination towards self destruction yet I most humbly believe it can be we creatives who inspire more of us to do and be all we can be in this new year.

In the “micro” of things never forget you are unique, you are gifted, you can accomplish so very much. Just remember one thing … to believe in yourself! You are your very best supporter (as you should be) so carry on with your dreams and your goals.

Welcome to this great new year. One filled with possibilities, capabilities and potentials. We can make it so!

Reality – Yours, Mine, Ours and …Theirs

This has been a year where the ground has, almost daily, moved beneath our feet (euphemistically speaking, at least for most of us). But like any natural geographic fault on our planet I believe it’s safe to say humanity is simply moving through it’s latest – significantly overwhelming – change.

So hang on, hang in there and believe things will improve. There are many many people who are truly becoming more spiritually aware of each other and our connections to all life.

There are even more of us pondering life’s questions of the “who and why” and how we can improve ourselves ‘inside and out’ in more natural and non-invasive methods for the well being of all life on our planet. (Even if it doesn’t seem so – according to huge doses of online media’s daily negativity.)

Ignore Naysayers. They do not yet understand the infinite power of love. Truly the strongest force in the universe and I believe the essence of all life.

Fear can do nothing except slow this flow of life’s eternal message – a loving flow that in scientific terms is an universal frequency seeding and continuously creating all life forms.

Know that even the greatest fear cannot stop love. Not really. Life vibrates constantly (with mathematical precision) becoming stronger with each individual’s awareness of our own life force carried and projected from within our heart of hearts.

It’s an ethereal & eternal kind of thing. One we don’t understand or comprehend, but one we’ll keep becoming more comfortable with as we continue to open our hearts and minds in the believing thereof.

Hello You! Did You Know You Inspire Me?

No, I’m being serious here. You, the person reading this right now is who really inspires me.

I began dwelling on where inspiration came from earlier this morning, not long after waking. Going outside, I listened to delightful chirping of birdsong thinking to myself, “how lovely”. I felt a gentle breeze and the warmth of morning sunshine on my face and thought, “how soothing”.

And then I thought about us. As in people. Our incredibly diversity, our amazing talents, our awesome ability to cope with and overcome adversity, to carry on, create new ideas, to prosper and succeed.

Finally I thought about you – a unique individual, one of a kind and what you must have to face each day and on those really hard days how you not only muster the courage to go on, but you go beyond expectation and succeed within yourself inspite of the odds, the naysayers, and of course your own personal and sometimes deeply rooted self doubts.

You keep going on because when all is said and done you know, in your heart of hearts, if you just keep going you’ll make it. And so this morning I thought of you, of both your struggles and successes and quietly cheered, because not only do I believe in you but more importantly, you do too and this is why YOU …

yes, You … inspire me.

An Open Heart …The Price of Love!

Love.

The greatest thing ever, most definitely the elusive substance of creation yet also the most complicated, and at times, hardest to understand and accept. Which of course leads me to ask the question:

So … is Love free?

If one thinks about it, love comes packaged in a wide variety of ways. Little loves, big loves, first loves, affectionate loves, caring loves, people loves, animal loves, love of things, love of yourself, love of life, love ever after.

Do they all have a price tag? Or put another way, is there any love out there that comes without a price? Not really.

The price  paid for truly unconditional love is the opening of our hearts so wide that our character stretches in all directions and we are not blinded by valueless meanings. We share,  we care, we give and without expectation. We see the good in others, we forgive, we accept each other’s differences (most especially without judging or pointing fingers) and we accept the responsibility for our role in life as a partner (in good standing) to all living things.

And yet to not only love, but to be loved. Do we come prepared to pay the price?

How about long lasting love? The price for this is learning to give and take in the relationship with both partners involved in this exchange. Recognizing both shortcomings (perceived perhaps) of the other as well as the positives. Each partner gives the other partner room to grow individually as a human being while being there to share in the ups and downs, good and bad.

And what of ourselves? Is there a price to be paid for loving ourselves? Yes! Looking in the mirror of our life and accepting ourselves for who we are and the value we inherently have as our very own unique and special self!

So do we understand what Love is?

Really? Do we? Are our hearts open? Are we stretching our character and growing as a human being?  Are we embracing ourselves for who we are so we can in turn, embrace others?

I hope so ~ I really do! Because right now, in this time and place on our planet, love is needed more than ever.
