The Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman is not an exterior thing. Although from a physical perspective there are many beautiful women. The beauty of a woman isn’t just an interior thing. Most women are amazingly loving, caring and giving. The beauty of a woman lies in the unique combination of genes that created her.

dna_2-t2She stands alone on several fronts. It is a given that ‘needs be’ she can accomplish more in a single day than thought possible but even that isn’t the main beauty of a woman.

Her very essence and nature draws people together. Encourager of Humanity if you like. She is a nurturer and a teacher (regardless of her own educational level) she will immediately go into a teaching mode with another when seeing the need. For most women it is instinctive. She is a nurse and seems to know when and how to fix a wound, a hurt, an ailing part of another human being.

And while she may look for her place in the order of things and struggle to be recognized for her true value and worth … know this … it is already there built into her very being.

She is a female and this defines her better than any other. Mother of all and essential to life, not because she carries, gives birth and then nurtures us as children, but because she also sustains us as adults.

And she always will … regardless of the ever increasing roles and responsibilities she has in her life.

The Tears of our Life and the Strength of our Convictions!

~

“Humanity will owe its survival in the future – as in the past – to those with the strength of their convictions who carry on through the compassion of their tears …  despite the burden of their fears.”

Penny L Howe, 2014

Which reminds me ladies (of the U.S.A.) you will be voting in your state elections this year, right? Most important for you to do so … MOST!

Born of the Planet Earth – We are Not Each Other’s Enemy!

We are all brothers and sisters. We are all human, born on Earth. The entire planet is our home yet we erect invisible borders, walls, and other means to separate us from each other based on beliefs and ideals.

No matter how hard we try to segment ourselves whether by government dictates, corporate mindsets, religious or ethnic perceived values, or any other differences, it doesn’t change the obvious fact that all of us, without exception, dwell on this one planet.

Each of us wishes to be individual, our own person. just as each of us desires to belong to groups who think and act as we do, yet beyond this lies a greater truth. Anytime we isolate ourselves or others by these seeming differences, we also diminish the potential for the healthy growth of life (including our individual selves) on our planet.

Each time we retreat, limit those we accept, consider and perform actions of hate, cruelty and greed we further diminish the life flow that energizes all life on this planet.

Each time we reach out to other groups, recognizing that these differences represent an awesome wealth of diversity that truly enriches our potential, then we are moving in the right direction.

The truest gifts humans were given were their intelligence and ability to love. Powerful acts can be achieved when the common goal is inclusive of all. There is no greater power than that of love. But just as there can be great love there can also be great hate. It is up to each of us to do our part to insure the well-being of ourselves and our planet secured through the power of peace – not death, destruction and killing.

by-johnanderson

It is wrong to solve a problem by the death of others. Perhaps the easy way seems to be through “violence” or killing.  Savages certainly believe this to be true. And killing is savage, a wild way of denying humanity’s ability to grow and prosper. The hard but responsible way to solve a social and civil problem is through the sincere effort of coming together through peaceful resolution – no matter how difficult!

It is past time to just stand by and “discuss” our problems, pointing out who is “right” and who is “wrong”. It is time for “the many” on the sidelines to understand that all of us share in the responsibility, and need to act in a manner than engenders a safe and healthy future.

Which direction are you moving in? With all my heart I hope it’s the one the extends a helping hand to those in need, that cherishes the wealth all humanity offers, and treasures the priceless worth and value of the planet Earth. Let us all begin to protect – through love and positive action – our true home, Earth!

Thank you,

Seeking A Proper Place

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

“Curiously Committed to Seeking”

Is there a proper place where we should be?

There are those who seek knowledge for the purpose of knowing a thing for it’s own sake. The curious ones.

There are those who seek power so they might control the lives of others.

There are those who seek wisdom so they might increase the nature of their own understanding, using this learned knowledge to assist both themselves and others in life’s travails.

There are those who seek to follow others. Their place being to dwell among those who wait to be lead by other seekers.

“Seeking Fearful Refuge”

Seeking has its dangers. It can come with confrontation, disappointments, and betrayal, for there are many who fear seekers. Holding them in the same fearful regard as the unknown.

Curious seekers may fear the unknown, but their desire to discover, understand and explore the unknown is greater than the sum of their fears.

And finally there are those who both seek and follow. Alternating their course of action during their life experience depending on choices made.

For all of us, the seekers, non-seekers and those in between, there is still a sameness of purpose. A single thing desirable to all of us, whether the thought be subconscious or at the forefront of our minds.

We all desire to know of the proper place where we should be, where we belong …

then it is surely wrong for all the right reasons

we humans should be attending to?”

A great many words float about everywhere.

And photos and videos surely to spare.

quotes are abounding, good sayings so wise,

information is shared in all sorts of guise.

~

Then why am I troubled with all that there be,

Many bits and pieces – worrisome to me.

~

Too much, too much, my poor mind screams,

Can not take more – what does this mean?

It cannot be thought right to move at this pace,

We are advertising commercials filling all space.

~

Slow down, slow down, we really must pause,

For every effect, there is a cause.

I mean what I say but how can this be?

It’s easy of course, the blind cannot see.

Perhaps it is time to remove the artificial from our eyes and look to one another for that which is needed, so that all of life (including us) can survive and thrive!

You deserve to be heard…

… and I hear you in my heart.

Each beat of my own heart reminds me of how wonderful you are. You, my beloved people of Earth give me reason for being. YOU, each of you, individually do this for I know we are ALL part of the whole of humanity, and to do our best we need each other.

Please believe that even though we may not know each other, I care about you. And I hear and love you, wherever you are in this wonderful planet we share together, you are not alone … you are loved. Don’t give up. Be brave. You’re worth it!

~

“I hear you in my heart, I feel you in my soul, we “all humans”
are connected to one another
even as we are connected to the very fabric of life on our planet.
Listen closely … you’ll hear and feel it too.
Our love for one another – is stronger than every negative thing
that’s out there right now trying to defeat you and I.
But we’re stronger than that.
Yes we are!”

~ Penny L Howe, 2014

For all that is precious, please …

Regardless of your faith or beliefs, it is a TRUTH that all lives are precious and of value. No one should have the right to abuse, mistreat, kidnap, torture or kill another.

“Regardless of where a person lives, or who they are,

they have the right

to live their lives with dignity and freedom.

Women are not chattel.

They deserve the RIGHT to be as free as men.

The right to pursue their individual paths of destiny,

as should we all.

When anyone is treated in such a wrong manner,

humanity must rise up to defend their rights,

because that’s WHO  WE ARE,

that’s when we are at our very best

when we come together and work as one,

to do away with the cruelties of the world.”

Penny L. Howe, 2014

I continue to pray for all of those women who are mistreated by the power of others both in my country and around the world. May the young ladies currently and forcibly controlled by those with ill intent, kidnapped from their school and homes, be safe and released soon to those who love them.

The Strength of A Woman!

Tears of Compassion

Tears do not make one weak. The salty liquid flows freely into the wounds of our trials, increasing resolve and determination to make things better – equal – balanced.

When looking at one of the symbols for justice, you will see it’s represented by a blindfolded female holding the balance scale. I’ve always found that intriguing and representative of how a woman’s role has historically been viewed – still is.

It is increasingly obvious that it is not the woman who is blinded by what she is or isn’t, but rather she is blindfolded by those who see her as – less than.

Personal strength is not about being more physically capable (although all bullies consider it so), strength is also about character, determination, our individual willingness and ability to care. To balance all of our human attributes with greater awareness and understanding and always with compassion. When a woman cries she demonstrates this – crying is not weakness. I repeat – not a weakness.

The sad truth is, too often, weakness of character manifests into physical brutality by an otherwise weak individual – to get their way. Winning by being mean, physically/verbally abusive and in the extreme, killing other people (even in the name of war) is often the easy way out. War achieves first and foremost – death and misery. Power, and the misguided belief “might makes right” has been in existence since the beginning of our caveman days,  and continues on today in many areas of society, government, and big business.

A woman’s compassion is one of humanity’s greatest survival strengths. A man’s physical strength poses for him some of his greatest’s blind-spots and handicaps. Most women want to protect all life, inherently a part of their nurturing nature, and a large part of their strength.

Those who view women as “lesser than” also tend to consider life as just another commodity to be used – as needs be. Again history bears this out. So does the repeated raping and brutality of women, children and the planet itself that we ALL live on.

Universally recognizing the female’s important and ‘completely equal’ half in the “human equation of life”, along with her amazing and natural strengths, can only assist mankind in truly becoming more balanced – it’s time for the blindfold to be gone.

My heart has room – does yours?

dreamstime_xs_179835003

The Loving Heart!

If I filled this page with persuasive words would you be persuaded to think on what I’m saying? To perhaps change how you view things?

Would you trust me? Would you believe my words, unconditionally?

If I promised you untold riches and glories never before realized, would you come running and stand in line?

If I offered you a pill that would make everything all better, would you take it because I told you it would work?

If I said I could keep you safe and shelter you from all danger would you gather around me?

Do you think that one person can have the answers to your trials and tribulations?

Do you truly believe that just one single human being on the planet of more than 7 billion can “fix” things?

Do you think that even a small group of people can show you the best way to lead your life so that you will “for sure” be happier and better off than you are now.

Do you … Really?

The Answer: No one person can. I certainly would if I could. Yes I’m up for that. My heart has room for everyone on the planet. yes it does!

To bring peace, harmony and equality to all the peoples of the earth. I would be so good with that. To respect all life. Human, animal and plant.

Yes I’m good with that one too. Even more so because we are the caretakers for each other and our planet, these are our forests, mountains, valleys, deserts, oceans and rivers – and all the species that dwell on our planet – our responsibility. So if I could I surely would!

“But positive change (for all) can only happen when we achieve a recognition that each of us in our own imperfect way are perfect for who, how and where we are.”

Until then we stay in disharmony with nature and at war with not only each other but ourselves as well.

By jpkwitter

Can we change? Of course we can. Look to the positives we have slowly achieved so far, not the negatives. Will we change for the better? Well, that’s up to each of us. Every single one.

And can I make a difference in the world with just my words?

I don’t know, I like to think maybe,

but mostly I will try because …

“I truly believe there is room on our planet for everyone!”
