The Colors of Our Creative World

First things first, I’d like to wish everyone very happy holidays and a Merry Christmas.

So here’s my why about this thought of the day:

I believe the colors of our imagination are far greater (and mysterious) than simple primary templates such as nature itself illustrates. It’s the greater profusion of multiples of blendings and shadings that actually create the multilayered complexity of life (as we assume it to be).

To share ourselves more fully, when we can, it is then needed to dive deeply into this beautiful and imaginative array of colors. This be where the hidden underbelly of creativity within reality can, perhaps, more fully reveal mysteries we’re surrounded by and a part of but have yet to discover.

Whimsical? Maybe or maybe not. In any event I suggest we color ourselves as beings filled with curious curiosities. Such then may our creative thought and expressiveness be more fully formed, revealed and realized.

I wish you most well, dear creative souls. This means you, of course.

With much affection,

~ Penny

Life’s Internal Survival Tools … So Handy for Today!

I fear change, unless curiosity and anticipation encourage me through a newly opened door of opportunity. I hate what doesn’t agree with me unless my compassion, caring and need to understand takes charge and helps me to greater wisdom.

Reality can definitely seem overwhelming unless/until my imagination takes over and finally, I know sometimes I feel a sense of despair until my hopeful spiritual nature and dreams come forth to guide me to a better place.

Isn’t it a most wonderful thing to know that we (each) have our own internal toolbox of survival tools always available to us. If we remember to use them.

You do … Don’t you?

Be an Encourager. First to yourself and then to others! Thanks for stopping by and have a great new week to come. I wish you well.

Most Sincerely,

Words Within Worlds Within Words

~ Well written words reveal themselves to be branches spiraling ever outward; releasing and igniting an ever changing spectrum of emotions ripe with potential for the emergence of new thoughts and ideas from those readers/speakers of our verbal creations.

~ Whether fiction, nonfiction, prose, scripts, lyrics or other, writers do much more in our crafting of words than just informing or entertaining.

~ Perhaps we may view each of our written endeavors as not just creative methods of communication and/or expression, but more aptly as inventions of innovative and thoughtful imagination, serving up potent catalysts of change involved with the evolution of who (as human beings) we are or in an even more expansive view ~ of who we’ve yet to become. ~Plh, 2017

I hope this new week is being good for you. Take care . . . I wish you well.

The Current View From Our Eyes

I believe in coincidences. I also believe that the truth of everything is found within life’s mysteries; those small insignificant ones and the huge gigantic ones.

I also believe in magic (another word for explaining the unknown), fantasy and most especially life as we’ve yet to understand it.

Each time a “new” discovery is made in academia/independent ventures is it really new or is it just some revealing of a layer of life already present in the selective consciousness of the universe?

Kismet, coincidence or fate all have the same flavor. Said flavor being what is currently understood and accepted on a particular day.

So boiling down all the facts, we of current ideologies or understanding do view life within the boundaries of our individual imaginations or put another way …

“Seeing is not believing but rather … believing is seeing.” ~ Plh

The Magical Wonderful You That You Are!

magicbelieving

Have you ever thought of yourself as magical? Go ahead, take a few minutes to do so.  You don’t know how? That’s okay, no worries.  I’ll show you. Right now take a little time and consider the possibilities, potentials and maybe’s in your life. Or go all out here, in the now of things, and dream. Dream big dreams. Use your imagination. It’s there for a purpose. Just imagine what might be.

I’m perfectly serious because I know locked inside each of us is the desire to make a difference for personal self fulfillment. We may not know exactly how to make this happen but we all feel this way.

You see, here’s the thing: As it turns out imagination is the first step in making something seemingly unbelievable (to you) or impossible happen. Yes, it is true. First something will occur within your immediate environment and/or you come up with this original idea or desire about doing something and before you know it you’re dreaming about the maybe of things. Of course, you’ve only to read about the myriad of people who went on to become famous by first thinking a thought or idea and then imagining what it could do or what they could be if they pursued it. Which they did, because they became motivated to do so.

“So if dreamer’s dream and doer’s do

There’s nothing to stop the magic of you.” ~Plh

But why do I refer to your capabilities as magical? Well, it’s because in the normal course of things most of us spend too much time quantifying our limitations. Determining what we can’t do and internally listing all those reasons why. And then we go further and sometimes hard wire our belief in self (or lack thereof) to our psychi – the center of thought, feeling and motivation – at which point we find ourselves in a perpetual state of uncertainty. Our motivation is frozen from self induced doubt.

Meanwhile, if  we think in terms of magic or the mystical power of influencing the course of events by some unknown method, and believe it to be so, why then, the magic existing inside of you (an untapped power of capability)  can and will bypass the negativity you’ve amassed. And just so you know, you have unlimited resources when it comes to dreaming, imagining and then cleverly figuring out a way to make your dreams come true. And … when all is said and done I, for one, consider that pretty amazingly magical.

Have you used your magic capabilities today? Make it so. Dismiss the doubts. After all, the wonderful you that you are – is magical.

Hope you’re having a great week, thanks for stopping by and remember – always take care of you.

With sincere affection,

Perceiving Perception or … Shall We Change Our Destiny Today?

unknown

Physicist Werner Heisenberg concluded that both the experiment and the experimenter are changed through the act of observation.  If this be so, can we perhaps intervene with destiny by selectively conforming and responding to the daily environmental and/or physical phenomena/data we perceive (that which is most often just beyond awareness or understanding of our heavily preconditioned mindset)?

Why not? Some say that all things are possible for those who believe it to be so. When we capture or are captured by an underlying ethereal nuance found just beyond the boundaries of our reality (while viewing/experiencing an act occurring in our lives) we can become transformed (so to speak).  Certainly our way of thinking or perceiving alters to a degree. And in those illuminating discoveries we expand not only our knowledge but also how we will approach the next adventure in our life.

But have we truly changed our destiny perhaps even manifesting into a parallel universe? Have we changed our future? Would we even know if this occurred? All questions unanswerable but delightfully imaginative, which is where I believe these mysterious answers will be found and where the “id” of our being truly exists – if we allow it to do and be.

Shall we make it so? I think we should:  believe in the unbelievable, imagine the unimaginable, and mostly I would love each and every one of us to achieve the unachievable by always, always dreaming the impossible dreams!

Have a wonderful week to come in this universe or some other …

Sunday Photo Fiction – A Beaker of Magic Passion!

Too too long since I have written flash fiction for Al’s wonderful Sunday Photo Fiction, click here for more information on how to enter your own short short story based on the photo (around 200 words) or to read some of the other delightful entries. Thanks Al.

To me the object in the photo looked like a beaker, the lights at the bottom a little bit like magic, so I wrote accordingly:

A Beaker of Magic Passion

“As you can see,” she whispered seductively, “I hold in my hand a beaker of passionate magic. It is up to you to decide what’s to be done with it.”

He scoffed. “More likely a beaker filled with your overactive imagination.”

“Perhaps, as you say, it is a beaker of imagination. Yet I have found imagination to be closely related to the nature of passions in one’s life!” She responded with a sweet smile.

“You speak nonsense.” He said.

The smile remained on her face although there was a strained quality to it. “It is nonsense only in this reality that you currently endorse as your life. But there are many realities and in mine, the beaker I have is filled with passionate magic. What do you wish me to do with it?”

His caustic laughter most unpleasant and dismissive with intent. “Do with it as you wish, my love. As you wish. I care not for your silliness. I shall go about my day doing precisely as I desire – without need for any mythological magic.”

Removing the stopper from it’s container, her smile became sad as she spoke. “I will do as you have requested. I wish for my own passionate love of you to be transferred to someone who loves and respects me believing that all things are possible if you believe they are.”

A moment later she vanished. He never saw her again, but over the years in his loneliness he often thought he could hear her gentle happy laughter echoing in the reality of the empty chambers of his heart.

But of course he knew it was only his imagination!

The Many Edges of Reality Within Your Imagination!

 iwish

Reality’s Edges

It’s been said Einstein’s first thoughts on relativity came while observing light from a lamp post glowing through an evening mist. He was fascinated by the streaming light traveling through misty air in the cool evening of a summer’s day. His imagination alive with the possibility of exploring (at that time) what was perceived impossible.

Gazing at the moon this evening, iridescent reflections shimmering on the river, I’m lost in the rapture of my own imagination. I wonder, am I on the edge of a greater awareness of life? Or perhaps some unknown new wonder soon to be experienced. I feel within me a seed of expression wishing to burst forth – If I can but understand the why of it all.

My mind hovers in thoughtful contemplation. I view the mysterious moon through imagination’s eyes. Moonbeams illuminating, ever so faintly, all that I might be – hidden inside – poised on the edges of reality.

A Wish ~ Your Unfulfilled Reality!

image

A wish is an, as yet, unfulfilled reality just lying in wait foryourright moment to make it happen.” ~ Plh

There are those who believe in fate and there are those who believe nothing will happen unless you’re out there making it happen.

For myself, I think it’s somewhere in between the two. Wishing and dreaming often set in  motion the creative application of your imagination. This, in turn, can inspire within you a passion to achieve – the inspiration you’ve been waiting for to make things happen.

The only thing left then, is for you to believe you can do it. And of course you can!!!! For certain. Your wishes, your desires, your reality – YOURS!

Hope your week is going well, take care of you.

Albert Einstein said “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.” And he should know, being one of the most intelligent scientists in our last century.

When we allow our imagination free rein to explore the unknown, we think thoughts and create ideas that may not have come to mind in an orderly “seeing is believing” mentality. All of us need to function on a daily basis, but how much more wonderful to be able to go beyond the average “every day of things” to see what might lay just beyond …

Creativity functions best when there are no limits imposed on what may or may not be possible. Think on this. Einstein also said “Imagination is more important that knowledge.” And once again, he should know based on his own amazing scientific discoveries.

With all this in mind, allow your inner thoughts some roaming power, jot down creative thoughts and ideas as they come to mind. In fact it’s a great time to explore your own imagination … just imagine what you may find there!

Have a great week ahead and remember to always take care of you. You can’t be there for others if you haven’t taken care of your own needs first!
