Part 2 -The False Complacency of Obsolescence – What we really NEED!

By RyanMBevan

Part Two -Our greatest need is …

To Be Valued And Loved!

The two do go together, having a value and being loved. Yet in a world filled with people, our greatest need goes unfulfilled. And unfortunately, around the planet, it is children and adults (in fact all life) who are unloved and found valueless that are suffering from starvation, disease, abuse, poverty and death.

It is the children and adults in the larger inner cities that go homeless and hungry, abused and mistreated because they believe themselves to be (and in many cases are shown to be) unloved and having no value.

It is the many working adults and their children struggling to make ends meet in our ever changing environment who undervalue themselves, feeling unloved and wondering how to make everything be okay … Just okay.

It is the condition of false complacency that underlies – allowing all of these things to continue.

Bottom line, without exception we ALL need Love and a sense of purpose because we matter, and many of us need to be told this and have it visibly demonstrated in order to really believe it. And that isn’t happening the way it should.

Money doesn’t matter, let me repeat this so it’s a little clearer … MONEY DOESN’T MATTER after the basics I mentioned are attended to. If civilization as a whole is feeling forgotten, unloved and of no value, it’s because money has achieved a greater importance than the loving arms of someone holding you with true affection, a firm handshake of fellowship and positive connections being made across the lines of those who think differently than we do.

Humanity cannot truly move forward as long as the accumulation of wealth and material items for its own sake (which begets greed, the need to control and of course war and subsequent human loss and casualties) is viewed as the primary goal to success.

Loving and caring more. Sharing more. Encouraging more. Realizing you do need a lot less material items in your life. Being there for family and friends. Reaching out. Making a positive difference. THAT’S WHAT IS ULTIMATELY GOING TO MOVE EARTH SOCIETY FORWARD.

Currently the biggest problems we are dealing with have to do with complacency, apathy, indifference, greed and laziness and of course the belief that all things have a predetermined shelf life, including us. These problems in turn have caused all the other problems we find so overwhelming and … as is most generally the case, we are the root cause.

Ironically, happiness is always found in the simple things in life, and those things turn out to be the most important!

Seek value in everyday things. Recapture worth by finding it within yourself and others. Love, reach out, share, care – be there for family and friends. In the process you’ll discover your own heart filling with love. A heart filled with love has no room for hate. A mind filled with thoughts of giving and sharing has no room for greed or complacency. And achieving purpose that is filled with making a positive difference, finds value and worth in all things and all life … as it should be.

Much love to you this day thank you for reading,

There Is No Room For Hate – in a love filled heart!

“There is no room for

… hate

… cruelty and ridicule

… greed and avarice

… prejudice and judgement

… indifference and complacency

in a heart filled with love, compassion and gratitude!”

What does it say when … (the truth about cruelty to women)!

Did you know that over half of the people on the planet are female? Did you know that almost every single child (both male and female) born from a woman, experiences their first sense of being loved from a woman? Did you know that the far majority of women on the planet are nurturers who care for and nourish the growth and development of their own children, their siblings, their partners in life and later on, their aging parents?

Did you know that most women will stand up and fight when their family’s well-being is threatened? Did you know that in more and more countries women are better educated and making a greater difference, not just at home but in the community and far beyond?

Did you know there are more images of the “beauty” of women than any other, on the planet? Did you know that some of the most beautiful and enduring poems and stories ever written – have been written about the love for a woman?

SO WHAT DOES IT SAY ABOUT OUR HUMAN SPECIES … when (according to the most recent statistics from all countries on the planet – including the “free” and progressive USA – currently trying to take away some of a woman’s rights) so what does it say when BRUTAL VIOLATIONS AGAINST WOMEN are the most ignored, tolerated and dismissed in our justice system) of any crime on our planet? (And most domestic violent cases go unreported for the same reasons)!

What does it say?

And I guess for me, my main question is, “where, do we … (Parents, Grandparents, Brothers and Sisters, Family members, Friends, Associates, Fellow humans) … where, do we tell growing young girls they can go to be protected (from violence directed “specifically at them” because they are “females”) in life, when it’s not their home, their community or their country? Where?

….

My personal plea to you –

“There is no justifiable excuse for cruelty – None!” – PLH

“Is it perhaps time for the “silent majority” to do something about this – NOW! And do you really care enough about your Mother, Sister, Family member, Friend, Any female, to really make a difference? Or are you going to let this continue! Because it’s getting worse – guys, a whole lot worse!

And bottom Line – what does this say … about us!

To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to …

… Today?

Is it the ‘you’ that you’ve decided to be just for today? The one who is watching popular opinions.

The one who is waiting to decide how they feel about a thing depending on how it is trending, or even worse how someone else is spinning a story, turning an event into something else all together, where you don’t have the true facts but you aren’t inclined to put forth any additional effort to suss out the truth of the matter?

Are you the ‘you’ that feels insecure because of what life has handed to you and you’re not sure what to do with about it?

Or are you the you who is standing up and being affirmative about what’s going on in your life and your world.

You don’t need to grab a sign and race out down the street proclaiming the injustice of things (that would be cool though), but you can have an informed view.

You can care, you can voice an opinion and … (wait for it) … if so inclined … actually make some small little change in your life by stepping out of your own comfort zone into the real world of things and … make a small positive difference.

Beginning with how you view things.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to be a bystander, to make judgement calls on others who are out there, at least trying to do good things (Even if they get it wrong, or fail or fall short of expectations – they’re still out there – aren’t they?).

And thought this does seems to be an era of finger-pointing, judgement taking people (which achieves absolutely nothing of positive value and is having disastrous effects), a helping hand would go a whole lot further!

So who am I speaking to … today, which one are you … I’d like to know?
