Your Body Listens to You

Yes it does, and in this complicated, complex world we live in our body pays especially close attention to each word we speak and every thought we think!

vintage_boat_picture-t2

It hears you speak about what’s right and wrong, (add the word stress here). Your body hears every single word! It listens to your thoughts about how you’re feel about things, others, yourself, your emotions, yes it even hears you when your thinking about how your body itself feels – you know aches and pains, kind of things.

And then … your body decides how it’s going to cope with the day! A fact!

So help your body hear some good things. Let your body listen to the joy of balance and harmony created in your mind when you’re doing something you love. Gardening, Taking Photographs, Painting, Drawing, Running, Riding, Building, Reading, Playing, Singing, Loving.

Let your body hear you laugh – a lot. Let your body hear your thoughts when you do “stop to smell the roses”! Let your body hear some beautiful music you’re listening to and enjoying.

Let your body hear your thoughts of gratitude for what you do have that’s positive in your day.

Give your body a leg up … It’s listening to what you say and think (always) … say something that makes it feel better. Start today.

It does a body good, I promise!

Have a great day and a better tomorrow!

Just in the Knowing … Haibun of Love

parislove

Just in the Knowing

Just in the knowing you’re somewhere. Not caring where, just knowing you exist is enough for contentment. Alright, perhaps a whimsical slightly lonely contentment, but contentment none-the-less. Were I to have realized love’s nature as we laughed and played during brief interludes of time together perhaps choices would have been a different making.

But nature of things at the time (Ah, time … immutable passage of linear time) spinning out of control, whirlwind of decision making – poorly thought through – emotionally charged and so we are apart … and yet … we are not.

For all that you are and all that I am create amazing realities of “greater than”. This unknown mysterious quality of perception, not understood but realized and so it is that …

Love has no true boundaries: Not time. Not location. Not even cessation.*

*through the physical departure from our current plane of existence

For truly love is existence and existence is love – superseding any boundaries of time. Time becomes  timeless and therefore never ending as is ~ my love ~ for you.

timelessness of life

gifted from eternity

never ending love

It’s been awhile since my composition of haibun. I hope you enjoyed. Thank you for reading, have an excellent weekend!

The Outhouse aka an old fashioned Porta Potty

“When I rented the room, I did not think it would be this one! But its worked out pretty good after all.”

“Why is that?”

“Because this is the Portal.”

“What do you mean this is the portal?”

“What do you mean … what do I mean? This is the Portal. You know the gateway to another dimension?”

“You’re kidding? I’m not going in there!”

“Why not? It’s just a place where people do … well .. their thing. No big deal.”

“Yes, it is a big deal. And I’m not going in there.”

“Well then I guess you won’t be following me into an alternative universe then, will you?”

“Ah, come on. If anyone see’s both of us going in there at the same time, what are they going to think?”

“We’re in the middle of nowhere, what anybody are you talking about?”

“Okay, so we step inside and then what happens?”

“Well there’s a flusher installed in this one … so we flush.”

“We flush?”

“Yes, that’s what I just said, we flush.”

“Are you telling me we’ll be flushing ourselves into another universe? Seriously?”

“Look, I know it sounds a bit unusual …”

“… a bit unusual … a bit UNUSUAL?”

“Yes, but I think you’ll find it all works out in the end!”

My Very Best Advice!

Preparing with positive thoughts and emotional imagining.

When you wake up in the morning do you prepare for the day to come? No … I don’t mean the usual grooming, dressing, breaking fast, and so on. I mean do you prepare for THE DAY – as in … “this is the first day of the rest of your life” day.

Do you think on what you will bring to the day today? Do you imagine the potential for making new discoveries about yourself and others?

Do you see yourself exploring new boundaries by shaking off the old, tried and true, unchanging parts of the past that you find yourself caught up in?

Your emotions are key to letting go the negative that can affect you. Remember what you feel inside are “your emotions” created by “your feelings” about what has been happening in “your life”. The common denominator here is YOU. And what you’re going to do about it.

Do you think about the personal power that you own? This absolute power you have – a power that hovers inside each of us – waiting to burst forth to inspire and influence. Do you think about who you can become? Right now! Just by taking control of your emotions and directing them towards positive thoughts and action.

file000244526190Do you know in your heart-of-hearts that you can and will have a good day and that you will help others to have a good day also? Do you know that you will be there if a friend or stranger has need of you?

Do you prepare for possible adversity by planning to be brave and strong?

Are you preparing yourself for laughter? At yourself, at other’s whimsies, at life’s misadventures and for no reason at all except that it makes you feel good to laugh and hear others laugh around you?

And when you’ve finished preparing for the day … do you begin? To make your life happen?

If not, than you haven’t prepared for the day at all. It will be someone else’s preparation that you will follow and adhere to: Someone else’s power, someone else’s opinions. And your dreams?

Well, I guess they’ll wait until another day! But I hope not. Because I know and believe inside you is something great just waiting for a signal from you to come out and begin!

Just imagine what happens then!

To have a Post or not to have a Post … that is the question!

Tree Swallows

“Hey Joe, that’s my post (post – get it all you bloggers, lol)!

“Well excuussseee me! I don’t see your name on it, Dave!”

(Stay tuned to see how this plays out. Will Dave be able to keep his post? Or will Joe hang on to the post he now considers his own. Actually they both see a cute chick and leave in just a little while to see where she’s heading – so having a post becomes a moot point!)

The Joyous Pleasure of Laughing Wildflowers

“Earth laughs in flowers” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

~

In the air a sounding of mirth! Joyful flowers in playful abandon, singing and laughing – a most splendid array. Brilliance of color, pattern, design. Lost in happy paradise, Mother Nature’s creation. I shall laugh with the flowers, join the profusion of pleasurable sensations, for how can I not.

Surroundings of blossom, playful peaking around corners, echoes in the distance and all around – a giggle of colors, riches of each petal’s artless glee, unfolding for all to partake. Glorious explosion of colorful laughter. Myriad of joyful expression; the wild flowers of my world.

Second Rock: “I doubt that very much but go ahead I’ll humor you!”

First Rock: “What did one human say to the other human?”

Second Rock: “And I’m supposed to be interested in this … why?”

First Rock: “No, trust me, you’re going to laugh out loud. You know those humans…”

Second Rock: “Not particularly well nor do I wish to.”

First Rock: “Seriously, this is to die for … it’s so funny!”

Second Rock: “Okay, okay, so whats the joke?”

First Rock: “What did one human say to the other human?”

Second Rock, “Ah… we’re talking about human beings here – they don’t communicate with each other!”

First Rock: “Oh … you’ve heard that one!”

A Halloween Mystery – The Pumpkin Family’s missing Engine!

Trouble_in_the_Pumpkin_Field

“Dag blasted, Jack! What’ve you done with the engine?” Mr. Pumpkin was really angry. It was just about time for everyone to pile in to go to the Halloween party and with no engine in the pickup they wouldn’t be going anywhere.

“Honest, Amos,” Jack replied. A seedy look in his eye, “I just can’t understand what could have happened.”

“Well, it’s not as if you have to be a rocket scientist to figer this ‘un out Jack. Firstly, there’s an engine and now there ain’t!” Amos pulled his orange hankie out of his rear pocket and wiped his sweaty orange brow off with the realization he’d have to tell ‘Maude’, Mrs. Pumpkin.” He knew this would not set well with her.

In the mean time Jack had turned away from the pickup and was searching the ground.

“Jack, what are you doing now?” Amos asked, getting more agitated by the minute. “Looking at the ground isn’t going to solve our missing engine problem.”

“Well, that’s not the way I see it Amos,” Jack responded, scratching his triangular concave nose, while he continued to search the ground. It was starting to get dusk, and hard to see well. Thank goodness for the candle inside his head that illuminated his eyesight!

“Joe and Jeff must have run off to get some food? That would explain things! ” I’m trying to see if they left a trail behind for us to follow.”

“What in the gosh durn heck of it all, do Joe and Jeff goin’ for food have ta’ do with anything?” Amos exploded.

“Well I figer it this way,” Jack went on. “If Joe and Jeff took off goin’ nut huntin’, and they be the lead squirrels in dem cages in the truck engine, then they probably let the other squirrels out at the same time.

I’m guessin’ we’ll have ta’ wait for them to fill up and then they’ll be back at work in the engine, gettin’ it up and runnin’, at least that’s what I reckon’ll happen!”

Amos spat on the ground and went along with Jack to get a lantern, and some moonshine out of the shed. They decided they might as well fill up with fuel too, while they waited for their “engine” to do the same thing!

Halloween Mystery solved – The whole thing was nuts!

Your Creative World … and beyond!

Credit line: © Skypixel | Dreamstime.com

… How full is it?

Good morning, my Monday morning. (Your Monday morning, midday, afternoon, evening or Tuesday depending on your location on our planet.) So what are you up to in your today of things? What’s your creativity quotient?

How many wonderful words will you write today? How many photographs creating potterywill you take? How much creativity will come forth from your mind as you convert personal thoughts, feelings and ideas into the beautiful rhythm of life – inventing creative patterns in a myriad of expressive ways; words, photographs, paintings, crafts, music, electronics, numbers, actions.

It’s all up there inside of you. Just waiting for that signal in your mind … that catalyst … that “something” that fills you with so much energy and desire, you just can’t help yourself with the need to creatively express.

And before you decide it’s not going to happen today, think again! Why not? You’re talented, capable, gifted (You are too – I heard that!). Take a good look around. View things from the eyes of an artist (you). What do you want to do with what you’re seeing? Your vistas, your imaginations, your creations … yours.

Yes, turn on your muse. It’s the on and off switch located in your brainhelping hand creating right next to the other wants and desires switches. It’s the biggest one! Turn it on! You know you want to.

Create today … or help someone else create … either way your muse will thank you!

Have a great week of weeks everyone, remember to enjoy each day your living in, in fact, make the most of it. Yours to do so!

– Penny
