When Writers Write

Spirals Of Life

I’m a writer.

You may have noticed this. The thing is, most of us who read are writers (more or less … sometimes way more and sometimes way less) and therefore …

When writers write (story tellers tell and/or people with opinions opine) the universe expands. No, truly it does! Each to our own uniquely individual way, we add to the collective consciousness existing in an ethereal part of the everything that isn’t understood – at all – but which nonetheless manifests itself somewhere within our imaginations, our thinking processes, our restless souls and/or the mysterious cosmos.

One of the primary reasons I find spirals fascinating is because it isn’t the (coined expression) ‘circle of life’ that brings renewal but the ‘ever occurring’ change brought about by spirals of life; expanding, growing, spiraling ever outward. We writers are a part of this – life’s glorious spiral effect. Fascinatingly so.

It is a wonderful thing, adding/sharing to freedom and universality of thought, word, expression and deed.

At least this particular writer believes so. Therefore, all your thinkers and writers, doers and believers … carry on. Creation is always a very good thing.

It’s Okay to Be What You Are: Human

f37fc55557fe485b7e61d8ce28b5f947.jpg

It is okay to be human and it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s also okay to say “I made a mistake”. It’s okay to fail. And okay to say the wrong thing at the wrong time; to make an error of judgement; to let someone down you care about; to be fearful at times; to be stressed out; to worry about today and or/tomorrow; to feel guilt/anger/disappointment/hurt over something from yesterday. It’s okay to feel all these things because you’re/we’re human.

Every single one of our species on the planet is human. Before we’re anything else we are born as human beings. We ALL share this commonality. Everything else, we become aware of or learn about afterwards – Our race – Our ethnic background – Our belief systems. Our likes, dislikes and so forth.

The most important thing is while we’re (all of us) busy being human, each of us is unique. This is important to remember. We will, as we grow, have individualized strengths and weaknesses specific to our background and experiences. Very important to remember in the scheme of everyday life because this is why we make mistakes, each to his or her own, according to our particular learning curve and life adventures.

Therefore, to live one’s life it is imperative to recognize our own humanness and accept that things will go wrong and sometimes it is because of something we did or didn’t do. Accepting it and moving on is the best way to be okay with yourself.

There are many stressful things happening in the world today and I doubt it is going to improve any time in the near future. But how you feel, first about yourself and then about others will help you to guide yourself through this troubling time period. You’ll find you can make better choices for yourself and those you care about if you remember you’re human (and all the inherent weakness that comes along with). Armed with this perspective and acceptance, you will be able to expand the control you have within your own environment.

It’s that simple, really. The input from others and how you relate to them begins with recognizing that you are first and foremost a human being (as are they) and it’s okay to not be perfect. To be different. To be your own person. Respecting yourself goes along with this and towards others respecting you as well. How you relate to yourself is how others will relate to you and reaching your own goals will depend on just how well you treat yourself first.

Recognize and accept that you may not always get things right but … it doesn’t make you any less of a person or human being. You’re still you. You’re still important, whether making mistakes or not and you always have the value of being your own unique person … that’s what really matters most. To you and everyone else.

Thanks for stopping by, I wish you well.

With great affection,

Penny

Tomorrow’s Mysteries and Our Dance of Life

In a poetic manner one might say we dance our way through life, in spite of our concern for tomorrow’s unknown and the burden of those heavy laden pieces of our yesterdays creating missteps within the flow our momentum.

Yet our momentum will still carry us forward. It cannot be halted. It is the unknown that continues to propels us – the hidden mystery of our purpose. Truly. It is this same mystery that inspires. The creative/imaginative power inside our heart and soul incessantly resisting negative tides, overcoming, moving beyond a myriad of unanticipated obstacles in our way  – along our way.

Never doubt your individual power and ability to overcome and move onward. It’s always there, just waiting for you to activate. Know that your unique dance of life is singular in it’s purpose, stronger than you can imagine, blending as need be with others revealing diverse and exciting discoveries which lay at the universal heart of life’s mysteries.

“Sing me to the moon

then love me far beyond,

all of this and more

Life’s universal song.” ~Plh

“Believe in yourself, your individual self worth, understand that your uniqueness is the special gift of life. You are far more than you can imagine, making your worth priceless.”

Thank you for being you, thank you for stopping by,

I wish you well,

Neverending Change, Captured in Words

Words, words words. They’re amazing things aren’t they? Drifting in, around and through our thoughts and emotions connecting with or latching onto every bit of life’s often overlooked creative aspects and/or acquired wisdom in our daily, sometimes meandering advenures.

Those minutiae of flotsam within life experiences, frequently add to an artisan’s imagination, collaborating with her/his words to bring forth the profoundness of a thought, idea or expression.

On the one hand we’re blessed with this finely honed awareness of life, on the other hand it can often lead us far from our original intent as life is a never ending spiral where the old gives way to the new (and upon occasion revisits the old again) and as we all recognize about change … well … it’s constant, whether we wish it were so or not.

I believe the key
here is to embrace change as often as one can, recognizing that even during its turmoil, within its essence is an neverending source of information and inspiration for the next great thing you shall write, my creative soulmates.

Thanks for reading my written thoughts. I wish you well.

Words Within Worlds Within Words

~ Well written words reveal themselves to be branches spiraling ever outward; releasing and igniting an ever changing spectrum of emotions ripe with potential for the emergence of new thoughts and ideas from those readers/speakers of our verbal creations.

~ Whether fiction, nonfiction, prose, scripts, lyrics or other, writers do much more in our crafting of words than just informing or entertaining.

~ Perhaps we may view each of our written endeavors as not just creative methods of communication and/or expression, but more aptly as inventions of innovative and thoughtful imagination, serving up potent catalysts of change involved with the evolution of who (as human beings) we are or in an even more expansive view ~ of who we’ve yet to become. ~Plh, 2017

Love – Empowers Us to Endure (and overcome)

♡

Love does bless with abiding strength

so deep, so strong, so pure,

nothing overcomes unconditional love

as it gives us the power to endure.” ~Plh

Love is a very small word representing the biggest meaning in the world. There truly isn’t anything stronger or greater than love and when given free reign, it can conquer fear and hate.

Love large, it does a body (and mind and soul) good!” ~Plh

Take care of you and yours.

With sincere affection,

Penny

The Current View From Our Eyes

I believe in coincidences. I also believe that the truth of everything is found within life’s mysteries; those small insignificant ones and the huge gigantic ones.

I also believe in magic (another word for explaining the unknown), fantasy and most especially life as we’ve yet to understand it.

Each time a “new” discovery is made in academia/independent ventures is it really new or is it just some revealing of a layer of life already present in the selective consciousness of the universe?

Kismet, coincidence or fate all have the same flavor. Said flavor being what is currently understood and accepted on a particular day.

So boiling down all the facts, we of current ideologies or understanding do view life within the boundaries of our individual imaginations or put another way …

“Seeing is not believing but rather … believing is seeing.” ~ Plh
