The Ethereal Symmetry of Just … Being

We must leave in no doubt the pure poetic power

found within a single flower emitting a sensual immediacy

of beauty most profound.

Yet even greater, and in addition to, is the resonating frequency of life

this one single flower transmits for all to experience and know,

if we would but allow ourselves to feel:

… the overlooked ethereal, eternal symmetry of just … being.

Tomorrow’s Mysteries and Our Dance of Life

In a poetic manner one might say we dance our way through life, in spite of our concern for tomorrow’s unknown and the burden of those heavy laden pieces of our yesterdays creating missteps within the flow our momentum.

Yet our momentum will still carry us forward. It cannot be halted. It is the unknown that continues to propels us – the hidden mystery of our purpose. Truly. It is this same mystery that inspires. The creative/imaginative power inside our heart and soul incessantly resisting negative tides, overcoming, moving beyond a myriad of unanticipated obstacles in our way  – along our way.

Never doubt your individual power and ability to overcome and move onward. It’s always there, just waiting for you to activate. Know that your unique dance of life is singular in it’s purpose, stronger than you can imagine, blending as need be with others revealing diverse and exciting discoveries which lay at the universal heart of life’s mysteries.

“Sing me to the moon

then love me far beyond,

all of this and more

Life’s universal song.” ~Plh

“Believe in yourself, your individual self worth, understand that your uniqueness is the special gift of life. You are far more than you can imagine, making your worth priceless.”

Thank you for being you, thank you for stopping by,

I wish you well,

Sunday Photo Fiction – The Mysterious Map!

Rushing waters have a melodious sound. Often, depending on the intensity, you begin to hear it at a distance. There is a soothing naturalness about it. Of course, as preoccupied as I was I didn’t waste any creative thinking regarding the sound of the water; I was just glad I could hear it.

Nearing the end of my quest. Finally. The last clue on the confusing map my friend, now deceased, had scrawled with her remaining strength before she died.

There should be a large odd shaped rock near the cascading water. There it was. Brushing aside wet shrubs and tall grass, I made my way to the rock. What would I find? What had been so important she left me a map to find it. A treasure map? A clue to her killer? I myself had no clues as to what any of this was about. But I was determined to find out.

As I neared the misshapen rock I could see a bit of an overhang towards the backside. It was necessary to get on my knees and scramble behind. The dirt was softer here, as if recently moved. I began digging with my hands, hoping what I was searching for wouldn’t be hidden too deeply. My fingers hit something solid. I brushed the remaining surface dirt from a small container and pulled it out of the ground. Holding the metal box in one hand I carefully removed the lid and stared in total disbelief at the contents. No one was going to believe this. It was …

(Oops too many words for flash fiction, I’d better stop writing now!) If you think you know, leave me a comment telling me what she found in the metal box! Something truly mysterious and exciting of course!

Do you believe in the mystery in life?

 Planet

Life Force

What does life mean to you …

… and are you a reflection of how you view life?

I’m not referring to the quality of your life or how your feel on any particular day but your overall understanding of what you think and feel of as “Life”!dreamstime_xs_1618901

The word “Life” – as defined using the following words and meanings from Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

  • The quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from something not living.
  • The sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual.
  • The period from birth to death.
  • A specific phase of earthly existence.
  • A way of living.
  • A vital or living being (life form).
  • A period of existence.
  • (And my own thought – Something More that we don’t understand but know to exist.)

~

alberiWhich of those reflect your own understanding? Are you a little bit of several of those meanings, or do you have your own idea of what “life” means to you?

Life to me is expansive – An unknown but very real and existing essence of a “force” existing in the Universe, the underlying glue in the Universe. Therefore all are imbibed with this “something” that is currently beyond our understanding or rationale. Everything connected to everything else.  Always without exception.

I think that perhaps when we define and reflect who we are based solely on life experiences we can forget that sometimes we are more than the sum of all the parts we know of. That, in fact, there is always the potential for … something more waiting to happen to us … or for us to pass on to others.

Keep your life force vital and growing,

All my love to you,

~Penny

I … in my aloneness – reach for the event horizon!

IMAG3981-1

For those of us solitary souls, we often find ourselves reaching inward, into the unknown. Not for respite, nor solace but for the unraveling of mysteries.

And when the magic of who I am encounters an unknown, there is a blossoming in the moment.

An event horizon. Not for an ending, but a beginning of the “new” – for further exploration.

… And I revel, finding myself in that moment, most gratified to be … me!

Wishing you a magical and wonderful day and an even better tomorrow!

The Mysterious Passions of Life!

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

~

“Ah, sweet mystery of life … at last I’ve found you …” These are oft spoken words, but are they true – for you?

Is there mystery in your life? Do you have a passionate regard for all things living? The known and the unknown? Are you a life explorer, ready for each challenge that may and will come your way?

Do you embrace each new day, crave the wonderful potential waiting to unfold before you?

You should, you know. It’s your life and it’s happening right now, all around you. Each morning the sun rises, each evening moon beams shine down from celestial  skies, the composition of which is mysterious and marvelous.

As Robert Heinlein once said, “Life is short, live wide.”

And a final quote from the wisest and one of my most favorite people ever,

“Remember the most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead and his eyes are dimmed.” ~ Albert Einstein

Up and up I reach so high

fly high

Up and up I reach so high

further than the mighty sky

further than the eagle soars

further than we’ve been before.

Up and up I reach to see

the universe can’t hide from me.

I’ll not abide, nor subside

’til my quest has opened wide

the “Why of This” so deep inside.

I must seek so I will know

these are seeds that I shall sow.

With this journey that I take

on the  ‘morrow we may wake –

to golden, brighter, better, days

where good things will come our way!

But until that day arrives

upward, onward I will strive!

Alastairs Photo Fiction – The Tunnel and Survival!

17-07-july-21st-2013

The Tunnel

Sitting in the middle of  a man-made subterranean tunnel I look in both directions, no end in sight. I rewrap my wrist, still bleeding. My extrasensory abilities hear them coming, they’re probably 5,ooo meters away (roughly 3 miles). Do I escape or confront? Always about choices. They mustn’t be allowed to take me!

No time for contemplation, and yet still – why me? Why my lot in life to be genetically different from everyone else? How did they discover my difference andby Stokkete began looking for me. Luckily, someone else had known years ago. She had prepared me for this day … should it come.

Am I ready? Equipped for the fight of my life? I’m prepared but I’m scared too. Timing is everything, just as she isolates the genetic coding of my DNA – she makes a startling discovery … and vanishes! And now They are after me. I don’t know if she’s dead or live, and I don’t know who to trust. And now I have her secret too.

Alone in a tunnel, with all the major players in the world wanting what my body contains, the next leap in human evolution – a new genetic pattern greatly expanding capabilities and longevity but even that isn’t the real discovery. The one she had just discovered, dangerous knowledge that now, only I know about!

What will I do?
