The Colors of Our Creative World

First things first, I’d like to wish everyone very happy holidays and a Merry Christmas.

So here’s my why about this thought of the day:

I believe the colors of our imagination are far greater (and mysterious) than simple primary templates such as nature itself illustrates. It’s the greater profusion of multiples of blendings and shadings that actually create the multilayered complexity of life (as we assume it to be).

To share ourselves more fully, when we can, it is then needed to dive deeply into this beautiful and imaginative array of colors. This be where the hidden underbelly of creativity within reality can, perhaps, more fully reveal mysteries we’re surrounded by and a part of but have yet to discover.

Whimsical? Maybe or maybe not. In any event I suggest we color ourselves as beings filled with curious curiosities. Such then may our creative thought and expressiveness be more fully formed, revealed and realized.

I wish you most well, dear creative souls. This means you, of course.

With much affection,

~ Penny

The Ethereal Symmetry of Just … Being

We must leave in no doubt the pure poetic power

found within a single flower emitting a sensual immediacy

of beauty most profound.

Yet even greater, and in addition to, is the resonating frequency of life

this one single flower transmits for all to experience and know,

if we would but allow ourselves to feel:

… the overlooked ethereal, eternal symmetry of just … being.

The Way Forward

It’s been an interesting time period, I’m thinking. There’s a palpable unease in the air filtering through our emotions, thoughts and actions.

We’re feeling uncomfortable about a wide range of things (most related to what I refer to as “a money thing” but that’s a whole n’other story) and politically speaking it doesn’t matter where you are in the whole conservative/liberal spectrum. It really doesn’t. What matters (at least to me) is that there is too much division between friends, communities, states, countries. This current state of affairs is most unhealthy – rather obviously, one would think … so how best do we move forward.

In my humble opinion I like to think it’s a matter of going back to the root of things. Nourish the base. In our case it’s families first. What can we do to positively improve our families immediate culture. After that it’s community. What can we do to positively impact others that are needing support.

So often it’s small things that make a huge difference. One person, one thing, one day at a time. This is the way forward. Not finger pointing, shaming, or blaming. Just getting out there and making what you do count. In a positive proactive way.

The strongest roots of the healthiest trees are deep and kept fertile. Time to go back to our roots. remember some basics that we each can accomplish. Values in a home environment. Support in a local community. Love and concern and action for those less fortunate. We can each become the nourishment to strengthen our human roots.

So doable. So possible. We can do this. Yes we can.

Think well of yourself. Think well of others. Begin from there,

I wish you most well,

Penny

Remembering Who We Are

“We are of nature. When the two (humans and the natural order of our home planet/Universe) are separated and viewed as different or individual things, a grievous imbalance occurs. Harming both, as may be seen today. Connect with your natural roots ~ it is as life (all life) should be.” ~Plh

Have a positive and relaxing weekend. Wishing you most well and happy.

Everyday Wisdom – Hidden in Plain Sight!

We are of nature.

Please do, for a better today and an even better tomorrow.

The Freedom of Your Thoughts … Illusionary?

Nature's Paintbox:

Does the mind wander? Be cautious, there is flotsam – impregnable, polluting, and ever enticing – floating nearby, sometimes successfully pulling one inexorably toward the shores of inevitability.

Is there true freedom in thought? I wonder?

Grains of truth and hope do sparkle along the shoreline and can be found clinging in shallow tidal pools of awareness, even as the currents of existence ebb and flow.

Away from these imponderable shores, one can be found being concerned with futures. Wandering thoughts venture into the Mountains and Valleys of Uncertainties where contraindications often lead to the Cliffs of Lemmings where – located at the extreme edge – is the precipice of one’s known reality. If not careful our thoughts can morph into a herd-like mentality.

I know we do not desire for conscious thoughts to be distorted from the natural order of things, nor do we willfully choose to be persuaded, influenced or lulled into a condition contrary to who we are.

Yet there are outward influences that often subjugate our understanding and desire for a thing. Often insidious and unequivocally mind altering.

So I shall ask again. Are our thoughts really our own?  And if not – I promise that I – for one – will escape the shores of my own Inevitability!

Thank you, may your weekend be a pleasant one.

The Song of All Souls

abcswan

Misty morn or perhaps early evening.

The Song of All Souls

Within seedlings of trees that grow

And the whisper of winds that blow

In the river flowing down to the sea

Hear the song of all souls singing free.

In the laughter of people at play

The bright sun giving light to each day

All the planets and stars in the sky

Share love’s song deep inside you and I.

The waves as they crash on the beach

Golden moonbeams we look up to reach

And the love that we all need so much

From this song, closed hearts can be touched.

Deep inside where love has no wall

Our souls they do sing out to all

They guide like the outgoing tide

to the seas where all hearts open wide.

The Shaman’s Dream

image

He, alone in contemplation. Curious and saddened, wondering if he were the reason things had gone wrong, knowing only the way of things and he but a vessel of knowledge, not a portent.

She, the portent. Change swirls about her. Spiralling out. Fibonacci wisdom, from seeds to galaxies ~ her key. She holds the golden key tightly. Her key.

She opens doors to a new awareness. A new reality? So much change. Is nature not to still be nature? Can she really do all this? Yes, she can.

image

Ahhh, he reflects, of course. She is of nature and birth and growth. She is of life, not death. Her change is the correct change. No more killing fields. Mankind will change. It is so.

He wonders what … how … he will be after the change.

image

The golden key, a mere symbol, she herself – the key of change. But this change signifies a new balance. Yin Yang become relevantly/irrelevant. Such is this nature of change.

life gives birth to change
change gives life to birth
birth gives change to life

And so it comes ~ A time of great change. Are you ready?
