weeping silent angel
Sleep, Silent angel, dry all your tears.
Rest, be at peace with so many fears.
Please don’t cry for our sorrows,
And our maybe tomorrows
… if we don’t get it right,
With our planet so in plight.
Sleep silent angel, do not cry for our grief
Spoiled sea, air and land,
fouled by a thief – yet in truth by our hand.
Do not cry for the loss and neglect and abuse,
Even as we do remain so obtuse.
Sleep silent angel, I beg don’t despair
We still are your people and though careless – do care.
Rest up your wings for tomorrow may bring
A renewal of hope with perchance a rebirth,
of loving and giving
on our home – Planet Earth!
“For me, rain brings a feeling of renewal. A cleansing, a scrubbing away of yesterday’s woes.
For a child, its one more thing of joy and wonder!” ~ Plh
Today, take some time to renew, refresh, enjoy and above all, wonder – at the mysteries of life!
Hope your week is going well, take care of you.
Here on the Northwestern end of America, the daffodils are blooming everywhere. Spring has arrived – yes!
Everyone have an excellent weekend, with joy and gratitude in your heart for all that you have.
I can’t believe it! It’s actually almost spring, here in the Northern part of Northwest America.
But I am excited about it. Waking up in predawn mornings with the sun filtering through wispy morning clouds, the cool air breezing through my open window bringing birdsong melodies – refreshing and invigorating.
I for one, am happy to embrace both the new day and the glorious beginnings of Earth’s annual renewal! Time to rethink my own personal regrowth and renewal. Overdue, actually.
It has become far too easy for all of us to get caught up in the same “everyness” of things happening in our daily lives.
Right now, small changes can truly make a difference for you when you feel in a bit of a rut.
Think about it, make it happen – You Can Do it!
Have a great week,
Our spirit must have the ability to seek
solace, support and strength from within
when weary and sick at heart.
Look to Faith – your “belief system” for this.
Each person’s religious and spiritual beliefs are their own,
but know this:
“Faith is far more than something
to comfortably hang one’s coat on.
Faith is the honest and sincere feeling
inside of you when there is true belief
~ Penny L Howe, 2014
I hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
Such an interesting turn of phrase “mirror image” as compared to … oneself. More incongruous than the image appears (visually speaking), we (humans) always tend to “see” more than what is really visible to the naked eye.
Still, the person on the outside looking at the same person (on the inside of a mirror) has the distinct advantage of being seen in a two dimensional platform – which is, of course, never the actuality of life.
Wading deeply through the stream of reality, I could look down at life’s liquidness and see my own mirror image reflected in the fluidity of all life as it swirls around me. Ebbing waves of ‘this or that’ moment of experience exhibiting – all that I appear to be.
But I rarely do – look. I selfishly do not stop the train of thought, (my personal perception of life experiences) and indeed my ability to continue on with an absorption, immersion and captivation of life which I find quintessential to my own well being and improvement.
In summation, a true mirror image of self might be viewed as a matrix where each new bit and piece and layer of the “who I am” rearranges and renews – at will, (my ‘true image’ being of constant change) – as it should, because with each subsequent change I become more of who I truly am.
